Background / History

Lin Feng began with only Level 1 innate Soul Power, but rejected the assumption that this limitation defined his future. He devoted himself to researching faster meditation and cultivation methods, reaching Level 6 by the time he met Qian Renxue in the library. 2

He deliberately revealed his progress to gain Qian Renxue’s assistance accessing Martial Soul Hall’s Hidden Scripture Pavilion. In exchange, he taught her the Innate Soul Evolution Art, a cultivation method he had developed himself. Qian Daoliu recognized his potential, granted him access to the pavilion, arranged protection for him, and later had him swear allegiance to Martial Soul Hall. 3 5

Lin Feng’s central innovation was turning Soul Rings into internal Soul Veins.
