Background / History
Tang San endured severe poverty and neglect while living with his father, Tang Hao, in Holy Soul Village. Despite hunger, exhausting labor, and untreated injuries, he remained devoted to Tang Hao while secretly cultivating the Mysterious Heaven Skill and practicing Tang Sect methods. Tang Hao noticed Tang San’s abnormal recovery, cultivation method, and Purple Demon Eyes but did not intervene 99.
Tang San possessed memories and techniques from a previous life. He viewed this life as an opportunity to rebuild the Tang Sect in another world, intending to use his remembered hidden-weapon knowledge and cultivation methods to restore its glory 115.
After Tang Hao left him behind, Tang San became self-reliant. He used stored raw iron, learned blacksmithing, forged an Inferior Soul Piercing Nail, made farm tools for villagers, and began planning more advanced hidden weapons such as the Zhuge Repeating Crossbow and Flying Sky Claw 116 117.
At his Martial Soul Awakening, Tang San was found to have Innate Full Soul Power. Su Yuntao judged his Blue Silver Grass useless, but Tang San still entered the Martial Soul Academy as a work-study student 133. Yu Xiaogang subsequently recognized him as a twin-Martial-Soul wielder and took him as a disciple 134.
Following Xiao Wu’s rejection and humiliation, Tang San’s memories as the God King Tang San awakened prematurely. He resolved to repeat his former path to godhood, regain Xiao Wu’s affection, and adapt to the altered circumstances of this world 143.
Appearance
Before any potential second awakening, Tang San has black hair and an ordinary, even unattractive appearance. He worries that injuries sustained during his conflict with Xiao Wu may disfigure him further 140.
- Black hair 140
- Initially plain-looking and described as ugly 140
- Often wears worn or tattered clothing during his early life 99 136
- Later develops scarlet eyes and a thin, murderous appearance as his power and bloodlust intensify 297
Personality
Tang San is resilient, calculating, and intensely self-reliant. As a child, he endures deprivation without abandoning his filial attachment to Tang Hao, while privately planning his cultivation, finances, and hidden-weapon production with long-term caution 99 116 117.
His previous-life memories give him confidence far beyond his age. He repeatedly treats his knowledge as superior to those around him, reacts dangerously when others discover his secrets, and seeks to control situations through preparation, traps, and concealed weapons 134 135 207.
After recovering his God King memories and mutating his Martial Soul, Tang San becomes increasingly obsessive, paranoid, and ruthless. His fixation on Xiao Wu, resentment toward Lin Feng, and pursuit of power lead him to devour soul beasts and humans, massacre opponents in Slaughter City, and ultimately destroy his own sect 170 179 229 296 299.
Abilities & Skills
