Background / History

Gu Yuena is the Silver Dragon King and co-ruler of the Soul Beasts. She had remained in slumber near the Lake of Life before being awakened by the ferocious beasts and Beast God Di Tian. Initially angered by the disturbance, she reconsidered after Wang Qiu’er relayed what she had seen through the Eye of Destiny. Gu Yuena then arranged for Lin Feng to receive a piece of Gold of Life carrying her Divine Sense. 93

Qiu’er’s unusual destiny fluctuations, which began after Lin Feng’s emergence, draw Gu Yuena’s attention to him. To avoid the God Realm’s detection, she dispatches an avatar concealed by secret techniques; she is prepared to destroy that avatar if its power risks exposing her presence. 93

At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Gu Yuena discovers the resting place of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings and recognizes the Immortal Herbs as Dragon Clan treasures nourished by their remains. She retrieves the Dragon Kings’ lingering souls and God Bones, ending the well’s foundation, while allowing Lin Feng’s party to take the remaining lesser herbs. 93 95

Her interest in Lin Feng deepens after she sees his unusual internal cultivation structure and later witnesses his Qi transform the Asura God’s destructive residual power within her wound. She enters a cooperative arrangement with him: Lin Feng provides Qi to aid her healing, while Gu Yuena agrees to meet him in human form. 95 168

Gu Yuena eventually acknowledges Lin Feng as her mate and accompanies him into the human world. She supports the promotion of the Ring Condensation Method and Vein Shaping Method, viewing them as a possible route toward coexistence and growth for both humans and Soul Beasts. 177 178

In the Dragon Tomb, the Dragon God recognizes Gu Yuena as a potential successor and grants her the Dragon God’s Tears and the means to reclaim the Dragon God’s throne. She subsequently absorbs the Dragon God’s Heart and helps stabilize the Dragon Tomb’s independent plane as a secret realm connected to Douluo Star. 287 288

Appearance

Gu Yuena’s human form is marked by long silver hair, purple eyes, pale skin, and an otherworldly beauty repeatedly described as beyond ordinary human standards. Her presence carries both nobility and overwhelming pressure, especially to Soul Beasts subject to her bloodline. 93 163

  • Silver hair reaching her ankles in her first manifested form; later described as reaching her waist and hips. 93 160
  • Purple or purple-gold eyes, clear and radiant. 93 121
  • Usually wears a simple white dress. 93
  • Her dragon form is silver, later gaining seven-colored radiance after absorbing the Dragon God’s Heart. 160 288
  • Following further Dragon God Source absorption, seven-colored divine light and golden brilliance surround her. 322

Personality

Gu Yuena is proud, composed, and accustomed to resolving matters through overwhelming strength. She regards titles and ordinary worldly disputes as largely meaningless, but takes the future of the Soul Beast race seriously. 167 189

She is highly perceptive and pragmatic. Although initially suspicious of Lin Feng harvesting the Immortal Herbs, she changes course once she recognizes the Dragon Kings’ legacy and Lin Feng’s potential value to Soul Beasts. 93

Her attachment to Lin Feng develops into open possessiveness. She accepts that he has other partners, yet insists that her place beside him cannot be taken and challenges rivals to become strong enough to contest her. 176 189

Gu Yuena also has a teasing and playful side, particularly in private interactions with Lin Feng. Her confidence in her own strength extends to refusing a spar with him so that she can remain “undefeated.” 174 234

Abilities & Skills

Dragon God Bloodline

As the Silver Dragon King and a being tied to the Dragon God’s legacy, Gu Yuena possesses extreme bloodline authority over Soul Beasts.

  • Her mere presence causes instinctive fear and suppression in Soul Beasts such as A Yin and Xiao Wu. 163 179
  • Di Tian and other ferocious beasts treat her as their sovereign. 93 213
  • Absorbing the Dragon God’s Heart improves her bloodline and raises her to peak Level One God strength. 288
  • Dragon God Source Power further awakens her bloodline and brings her close to the Dragon God’s former peak. 322

Silver Divine Power

Gu Yuena wields silver Divine Power and retains god-level authority despite the long-standing Asura God wound.

  • At her later state, her individual combat strength is stated to be no weaker than any God King, including the deceased Asura God. 322

Healing Through Qi

Gu Yuena’s central reason for cooperating with Lin Feng is the healing potential of his Qi.

  • Qi enters and transforms the destructive power remaining from the Asura God’s attack rather than merely suppressing it. 168
