The commotion at Wayne Manor still drew the Night Watchers' attention. Bruce knew this was inevitable, and the traces here could not be erased either. He had been waiting for the Night Watchers to arrive.
Bruce had not thought of an excuse. Any excuse would have holes in it, so he might as well keep the truth hidden. With the Mistvale Family backing him, he had some confidence.
After Bradley fled, Daniel, Cruno, and the others returned to Lane Village. They wanted to know what had happened there and why Bradley had been unconscious.
"Wayne Manor?" Cruno frowned slightly. Upon returning to Lane Village, they immediately tracked down the site of the earlier explosion, but they had not expected it to be Wayne Manor.
Bruce had gravely wounded Bradley? Impossible. Bruce had only just become an Extraordinary. Even if he had awakened an innate ability from the Goddess's bloodline, he could not possibly be a match for Bradley.
Someone else must have fought Bradley. After considering all the possibilities, Cruno concluded that the Mistvale Family was the most likely candidate.
