The Mistvale family made a grand entrance, and Bruce became convinced that their attention toward him meant they had uncovered his Extraordinary nature or the Dark Bible’s aura. He left Danvers briefly to test Breakthrough, then returned intending to wait and prepare rather than flee immediately.
Bruce attended the Mistvale Family’s party with Danvers, where Zatanna invited him to dance and discreetly assessed him. After Bruce returned to Wayne Manor, Baron Mistvale’s family discussed his dark aura and their plans concerning the Dark Bible, the Gargoyle, and the Sharon Family heir.
After worrying that the Mistvale Family might target him, Bruce took precautions and went to the swordsmanship club. He proposed a low-cost combat training class to gather support against the Swordsmanship Hall, leaving Laura and Lilith to consider his plan.
Bruce agreed with Laura to build a swordsmanship training class that could grow into an institute, then secretly cast a spell to control a bird for scouting. After testing its range, he prepared to confront the Swordsmanship Hall over its attempt to have him killed.
Cruno connected the Wayne Family’s bloodline to the attention of the Goddess of the Night, Bishop Daniel Pacino, and the Mistvale Family, and decided to investigate its history. Meanwhile, Bruce chose the Segus Activity Center for his training classes and went there to negotiate a lease, unaware that someone was watching him.
Bruce met Zatanna Mistvale after she bought the Segus Activity Center, and she explained that the Mistvale and Wayne families had close ties. Their conversation about the Dark Family left Bruce suspecting both families had once served Eris, while Zatanna concluded that the Wayne family's inherited legacy had been damaged.
Zatanna explained the Four Dark Families and confirmed that Bruce was a newly awakened Wizard-type Extraordinary. She offered him the Segus Activity Center as a gift from the Mistvale Family, then warned him to watch out for the Sharon Family.
Zatanna warned Bruce that the Sharon Family had embraced the Death God and was plotting a catastrophe near Rhode Town using the Beyonder item Gargoyle. Bruce offered the Mistvale Family the Secret Witchcraft and Gu Arts in exchange for their support, and he and Zatanna agreed to cooperate.
Bruce secured the Segus Activity Center from Zatanna and proposed a security company backed by the Mistvale Family. Cameron approved the partnership and sent Zatanna to investigate the Gargoyle and the Sharon Family’s plans.
Bruce let the Mistvale Family take charge of their Security Company partnership while he focused on developing his Beyonder abilities. Meanwhile, Alduin plotted against Bruce with help from the mysterious Antu.
Bruce used magic and swordsmanship to defeat an armed group from the Swordsmanship Hall outside Andre's house, then prepared to challenge the hall. Before he could leave, police arrived and ordered everyone to stop.
Bruce gave a statement to the police after fighting men sent by the Swordsmanship Hall, while Alduin transformed and attacked his brother Merced. A mysterious figure moved on to target Adele Stewart, who began seeing her dead mother and announced that the hunt had begun.
Francis Morton followed the warning smoke to the Parker Family's Swordsmanship Hall and discovered Alduin transformed into a Soul-Lost Monster after eating Merced. As Francis fought Alduin, Bruce, Lilith, and Laura arrived at the Swordsmanship Hall.
Bruce entered the Swordsmanship Hall after learning a monster was inside and joined Night Watcher Francis in fighting the Soul-Lost Monster. He exposed his identity as an Extraordinary and killed the monster with an enchanted Cross Sword.
Bruce Wayne killed Alduin and revealed himself as an Extraordinary to Francis Morton, then left after signaling his willingness to work with the Night Watchers. Cruno uncovered the Wayne Family’s divine bloodline and learned that Bruce had already become an Extraordinary.
Cruno investigated the Soul-Lost Monster incident and decided to alert the Nightfall Association about Bruce’s divine bloodline and new status as an Extraordinary. After the Parker brothers died, Bruce helped arrange a new use for the Segus Activity Center and returned to Wayne Manor, leaving the Wind-Cutting Swordsmanship Club safe from the Swordsmanship Hall.
Bruce resumed his studies and preparations at Wayne Manor while the Night Watchers shifted their attention to Rhode Town. After Macaulay Bolton was found dead in Lane Village, Cruno suspected his soul had been taken and discovered a faint fragrance and dark red residue on his lips.
Cruno investigated McCauley’s missing soul while Baron Mistvale warned him that the Gargoyle crisis was nearing and pointed him toward a hidden cemetery. Cruno was left fearing that the mysterious Death God Believer would target the powerful corpse buried there.
Cruno investigated McCauley’s death and identified Adele Stewart as a suspect, while Bruce prepared to host a party at Wayne Manor. After warning an old Nightwalker about a possible Death God Believer, Cruno followed Adele as she left for the party, unaware that a mysterious figure had marked her for death and headed toward the cemetery.
Bruce prepared to host a party at Wayne Manor while Cruno secretly followed Adele there. In Lane Village, Bradley Sharon confronted Night Watcher Clint Cooper over the corpse of Clint’s former team leader, and their fight revealed that Clint had been infected by a mysterious power.
Bradley trapped Clint with regenerating mud hands while Bruce subdued Adele after she tried to seize him during a surge of strange spirituality in Lane Village. Cruno arrived as Adele collapsed, leaving Bruce to explain himself to the Night Watcher.
Bruce subdued Adele at Wayne Manor, and Cruno took her away while Bruce returned to the party. At the cemetery, two Night Watchers fought off animated corpses but were killed by a crossbow-wielding attacker in bandages.
Bradley killed Clint at Oswald’s grave and discovered that Oswald’s corpse was missing from its sealed coffin. He abandoned the search and vanished, leaving the graveyard as he prepared for the next stage of his plan.
At Wayne Manor, Baron Mistvale warned Bruce that his divine blood and dark traits could attract dangerous beings, then offered guidance and connections in Metropolis. Bruce learned that the Nightfall Association would likely seek him out because Missionary Cruno had reported his bloodline, leaving him uncertain whether joining would be safe given his connection to the Dark Lord Eris.
Cameron revealed that the Wayne Family carried the bloodlines of both Eris, the Dark Lord, and the Goddess of the Night, and explained why the Mistvale Family hoped Bruce would join the Nightfall Association. Bruce learned that the Mistvale Family had maintained ties with the Goddess of the Night Church and returned to the party, unaware that Cruno had only recently uncovered the Wayne Family’s hidden bloodline.
