"I'm fine, Aunt Meiling. My injuries healed long ago. Besides, there weren't many people on the battlefield who could hurt me, and I wasn't badly injured. Don't worry!" Seeing that Mei Ling Hyuga had calmed down, Ruri spoke to her happily.
"As long as you're all right, as long as you're all right. I've been worried sick at home these past few days, terrified something would happen to you on the battlefield and you wouldn't come back! It looks like our Ruri has gotten quite a bit stronger again!" Sensing the aura of chakra radiating from Ruri, Mei Ling Hyuga spoke to him with a smile.
"I didn't expect my beautiful aunt to notice after all. I broke through my limits while fighting the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki on the battlefield! That was probably my biggest gain from the battlefield!" Ruri helped Mei Ling Hyuga into the house and seated her before speaking to her.
After entering the house, Ruri looked around the room and noticed that Hizashi Hyuga was not home. He then asked Mei Ling Hyuga, "Aunt Meiling? Why haven't I seen Uncle Hizashi? Where did he go?"
Hearing Ruri's question, Mei Ling Hyuga looked up and said to him with a smile, "Him? He went out on another mission. He only just left the day before yesterday!"
"Oh, why is Uncle Nichijo always going out on missions? He doesn't even know to take care of his own body!" Ruri said as he looked at Mei Ling Hyuga.
"All right, all right, don't worry about him. He knows his own body! Ruri, stay at my house for the
