"I always feel like it would have been better if I'd been a woman in this life. Then I wouldn't have to do so many things," Ruri said with a bitter smile as he looked out the window.
After thinking through these things, Ruri shook his head helplessly and finally lay down on the bed.
"Forget it, forget it. I'm still just a child here in the Hokage World. There's no need to think so much. I just need to handle what's in front of me and take the rest as it comes. I'll figure out what to do when I get there," Ruri murmured with a smile after lying down on the bed. Then he closed his eyes.
Just like that, Ruri closed his eyes and began to rest, slowly falling asleep.
It always felt as though a man had so very many things to do in his lifetime. Like a bottomless pit, there was never any end to them.
Once a man reached a certain stage of maturity, he would discover just how much pressure this world could put on him.
Ruri had not felt such great pressure while he was at university. In fact, only after graduating from university and entering society would he feel that the pressure this world placed on him far exceeded his imagination.
But it was already too late to talk about any of that. Ruri was no longer in his original world. He was now in the Hokage World, and in this world, he did not need to worry about his wealth or his livelihood.
