Walking along Main Street, Ruri spent a while looking at both sides of the street before heading home.
After returning home, Ruri took out a key and opened the door. Upon entering, Ruri noticed a note on the table.
Ruri walked over, picked up the note, and looked at the handwriting on it!
"Ruri, when I came over today, you weren't home. You might still be with the Anbu. I've already cooked for you, and the food is in the pot. Remember to heat it up before eating! Aunt Meiling," the note read.
After reading the note, Ruri smiled and headed into the kitchen. Looking at the food in the pot, Ruri said softly, "Thank you, Aunt Meiling!"
Then Ruri turned on the stove and warmed up the food. A few minutes later, Ruri carried it into the living room and began eating.
"Aunt Meiling's cooking really is delicious!" Ruri said while eating the meal Mei Ling Hyuga had made.
After finishing the meal, Ruri washed the bowl and chopsticks and put them away.
Ruri was exhausted after a day of missions and went straight to bed after washing up.
Ruri slept very comfortably that night and, because of the physical exhaustion, even snored from time to time.
The next day, Ruri did not get up so late. After rising early, Ruri changed clothes and went into the kitchen to make breakfast.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Just after Ruri finished eating, someone knocked on the courtyard gate.
"So early in the morning! Who could it be?"
Ruri put down the chopsticks and headed toward the courtyard gate.
"Coming!"
After undoing the lock on the inside of the gate, Ruri pushed it open and looked up to find Momokusa Harukawa standing outside.
"Good morning, Ruri! Look what I brought you!" Momokusa Harukawa
