Background / History

Ning Rongrong is Ning Fengzhi's daughter and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's foremost young genius. With Rank 9 Innate Soul Power, she was considered the sect's only prodigy in several centuries with a realistic chance to evolve the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda into an Eight Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. Her father sent her to Heaven Dou Royal Academy to study alongside Shi Quan, both to support his research and to have him guide her cultivation. 38

Initially, Rongrong treated the arrangement as an entertaining excursion from the sect. She looked down on Shi Quan because of his age and attempted to leave when he demanded that she follow his training schedule. Ning Fengzhi's Dark Guards stopped her escape attempt under orders to keep her at the academy for at least a year. 38 39

Learning that Shi Quan had risen beyond her despite possessing only Innate Level One Spirit Power sparked her pride and competitive drive. She returned to his training ground, accepted his physical-conditioning regimen, and began practicing running, Horse Stance, meditation, and medicinal-bath recovery. 39 40
