Pokémon levels, Soul Beast cultivation age, and combat strength are distinct measures for Zeng Tian. His fighting ability repeatedly exceeds the cultivation age associated with his level 32 47 78.

Background / History

Zeng Tian originally possessed a human soul and had read both Pokémon-related stories and Peerless Tang Sect. He reincarnates as a Charmander, hatching alone from a fiery red egg on a cliff. A yellow Soul Ring appearing over a slain Mandala Snake reveals that he is on the Douluo Continent 1 10 82.

His encounter with Bei Bei, Tang Ya, and Huo Yuhao identifies the setting more specifically as the era of Douluo II. His knowledge of the original story also makes him wary of God King Tang’s attention, although his memories are incomplete and provide little practical help with geography 10 73 82.

Other characters initially interpret him as an unusually mutated Soul Beast. Di Tian notices that his physical structure differs from native creatures, while Gu Yuena recognizes both his extraordinarily young true age and unusually short lifespan. The Fire Dragon King later identifies the same fundamental difference: despite his strengthened dragon bloodline, Zeng Tian remains a Pokémon 18 19 49 100.

Appearance

His coloration changes with evolution and temporary transformations; his ordinary Charizard form is orange-red, while Mega Charizard X is gray-black and blue 45 46.

Zeng Tian is openly ambitious and intensely committed to becoming stronger. He trains until his claws bleed, drills newly acquired moves until they are combat-ready, and eventually seeks sparring partners so frequently that his enthusiasm becomes widely known among the forest’s older Soul Beasts 7 27 58.

His confidence is tempered by practical caution. As a newly hatched Charmander, he avoids unnecessary battles because he has only one life. Later, he recognizes that a prolonged war favors humanity’s faster replenishment of fighters and instead works to improve the Soul Beasts around him 3 33.

Scarlet King describes him as straightforward, hardworking, and clear about gratitude and grudges. He thanks Di Tian for valuable assistance and spares Xiong Jun at Bi Ji’s request, despite being given permission to kill him 33 47 48 78 80.

He treats the Auspicious Beast as an equal rather than a fragile treasure or superior being. He can be teasing and tactically ruthless in sparring, but comforts her after defeating her and promises to teach her better ways to fight 22 24.
