Chen Family and Senior Brother Lu’s Betrayal

Chen Qiaoqian is the Chen Family’s seventh child, with six elder brothers. Although cherished by her family, she receives only a limited share of its cultivation resources 12 101.

Her lover, Senior Brother Lu, immobilizes her, steals her Foundation Establishment Pill, and drugs her before attempting to sexually assault her. He intends to kill her, claiming that a woman from the Dong family demands he sever their relationship and admitting that he fears retaliation from the Chen Family 10.

Han Li kills Lu, but Lin He drives the exhausted Han Li away and takes Lu’s possessions. Still affected by the drug, Qiaoqian initiates an intimate encounter with Lin He. The next morning, Lin He claims responsibility for Lu’s death and returns her Foundation Establishment Pill. Her father subsequently arranges to negotiate privately with the Lu Family 10 11 12.

Supporting Lin He

Qiaoqian’s relationship with Lin He develops beyond their first encounter. When he insists on entering the Forbidden Land Trial, she gives him her top-grade defensive Brocade Handkerchief and asks Senior Sister Chang and Chen Qiaoshan to help him if they meet inside 12 13.

After the trial, she helps sell his acquired magical artifacts. When Lin He offers a Foundation Establishment Pill to her eldest brother, she insists that her brother pay rather than accept such a valuable gift. She later delivers the proceeds from the pill and artifact sales—110 medium-grade spirit stones—in two storage bags obtained from Chen Qiaoshan 25 26 28.

Golden Drum Plains War

Qiaoqian joins the Yellow Maple Valley cultivators sent to the Golden Drum Plains. Li Huayuan assigns her and Chen Qiaoshan to Lin He’s team, where they follow his battlefield instructions 75 78.

With Lin He’s assistance, she kills three middle Foundation Establishment enemies during one engagement. Subsequent fighting brings her additional spoils and better magical artifacts. She also helps procure rare materials for his Soul-Burning Pearls through her Fifth Uncle 80 81 92.

Lin He’s rapidly increasing strength makes her fear that neither she nor the Chen Family can remain useful to him. After he reassures her that he never sought benefits from her family, she regains confidence. She later returns to Yellow Maple Valley with him in the first group withdrawn from the battlefield 81 101.

Golden Origin Legacy and Green Spirit Island

Qiaoqian qualifies for the Golden Origin Legacy expedition without fighting: displaying her late Foundation Establishment Copper Armored Zombie is enough to deter every challenger. Inside the legacy, she accompanies Lin He through Golden Origin Wanderer’s chambers and obtains useful treasures from other rooms 104 114.

When fighting erupts between the opposing sects, she narrowly escapes with Lin He and Nangong Wan. Though willing to follow Lin He elsewhere, she worries about leaving her family; he reassures her that the Chen Family will withdraw with Yellow Maple Valley 116.

She travels with the group to the Chaotic Star Sea and settles on Green Spirit Island, where she identifies high-grade spirit ore in the underground vein. Supported by plentiful medicinal pills, she advances through middle Foundation Establishment and fake core before eventually forming her core 125 126 128 163.

Her sheltered upbringing leaves her emotions easy to read. She impulsively confronts Tan Ying for bullying Senior Sister Chang, then apologizes when Lin He explains that retaliation could fall on Chang afterward.
