Jin Jiuxiao’s third contracted soul beast 23 Voluntarily signs an equal contract and enters his Poké Ball. Her 550,000-year soul ring raises Jin Jiuxiao from level thirty to thirty-nine; this is his advancement, not an increase in her cultivation.
550,000-year cultivation reaffirmed 34 She is identified at the same cultivation when introduced to Dugu Bo. No higher cultivation is documented in the supplied chapters.

Background / History

Raising Jin Jiuxiao

Bi Ji discovered the juvenile Jin Jiuxiao shortly after his arrival in the Star Dou Great Forest. She witnessed him defeat a three-thousand-year soul beast despite possessing less than a thousand years of cultivation. Impressed by his intelligence, unfamiliar species, and combat strength, she carried the exhausted youngster back to the Lake of Life. Her recommendation secured his place among the ferocious beasts, and she raised him over the following years 1.

When he decided to take human form, Bi Ji opposed the decision because humanization would strip away his existing strength. She cited the Soft Bone Rabbit Emperor’s death as a warning and only released him from her reprimand when Di Tian intervened. After his transformation, she repeatedly examined him when he could not summon a martial soul, confirming that he was healthy 1 2.

Becoming His Third Contract Partner

Bi Ji initially competed with Xiong Jun to provide Jin Jiuxiao’s second contracted soul ring, arguing that her greater cultivation would give him a larger boost. When he returned at level twenty, she accepted Zi Ji’s proposal that Xiong Jun take the second slot while she remained to oversee the forest. She reserved the third contract for herself, having anticipated that Xiong Jun’s ring would quickly bring Jin Jiuxiao close to level thirty 4 18 19.

While Jin Jiuxiao cultivated at the Lake of Life, Bi Ji helped relocate the Blue Silver clan. A month and a half later, she signed his third contract without hesitation and entered the Poké Ball without resisting. Once he absorbed her soul ring, she joined him, Zi Ji, and Xiong Jun on their expedition to Holy Soul Village 22 23.

Tang Hao and the Blue Silver Emperor

During the confrontation with Tang Hao, Bi Ji supported her companions through her Life Domain while Xiong Jun and Zi Ji handled the frontline fighting. Following Tang Hao’s defeat, she carefully recovered the Blue Silver Emperor from the waterfall cave, infused her with life-attribute soul power, and protected her during transport 25 26 27.

Bi Ji then worked with the Blue Silver King to restore the emperor. She returned the origin essence contained in Ah Yin’s soul bone while the clan supplied accumulated life energy. Before proceeding, she warned that rapid restoration could leave Ah Yin’s memories incomplete, although her soul would remain undamaged. After Ah Yin awakened, Bi Ji soothed her distress and encouraged her to rest rather than force herself to recall painful memories 28 29.

Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well

Bi Ji located the mountain hollow containing the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and shielded the group from its poisonous miasma. Inside, she identified many of the immortal herbs and harvested the two opposing herbs Jin Jiuxiao selected for Zi Ji’s descent into the spring 30 31.

While Zi Ji was secluded beneath the water, Bi Ji asked to accompany Jin Jiuxiao when he returned to the human world. Their mutual affection became explicit through a kiss and an embrace. She subsequently helped him recruit Dugu Bo by healing his injuries, diagnosing his poison backlash, and explaining how to transfer his toxins into a soul bone 32 33 34.

Appearance

Bi Ji’s human form is described as a breathtakingly beautiful woman with a warm, tender bearing 1.

  • Hair: Long and jade-green 1.
  • Eyes: Gentle emerald eyes 1.
  • Clothing: A pale-green gauze dress 1.
  • Aura: Faint motes of life drift around her 1.
  • True form: An Emerald Swan 1 34.

Personality

Bi Ji is gentle and nurturing, but her concern for Jin Jiuxiao can become stern protectiveness. She reprimands him for risking humanization and pulls his ear to express her displeasure, yet deliberately avoids using much force. Later, she comforts him when he is preoccupied with the future, reminding him that he does not have to shoulder his plans alone 1 28.

Her kindness does not prevent her from being perceptive. She recognizes how quickly Jin Jiuxiao will approach his third contract and calmly accepts a temporary delay. Jin Jiuxiao nevertheless considers her too soft-hearted for forceful negotiations with the Blue Silver clan. After witnessing Dugu Bo submit to his methods, she acknowledges that her own earlier approach to winning humans over had been mistaken 19 21 35.

  • Predicts that Dugu Bo would die within three to five years without the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well’s suppression 33.
  • Explains that a soul bone can temporarily hold his toxins, while eliminating the underlying danger requires further treatment and medicines 34.
  • After his breakthrough to level ninety-three, confirms that his torso bone holds almost all his toxins and that he can cultivate to level ninety-four without that burden 36.
  • Warns that storing toxins in a head soul bone could prove fatal if they entered the brain during combat; even she could not save him in time 36.

  • Ah Yin / Blue Silver Emperor — Patient whose seed Bi Ji retrieves and whose origin essence she restores. Ah Yin thanks her after awakening 27 28 29.
  • Blue Silver King — Collaborator in restoring the Blue Silver Emperor; he thanks Bi Ji for returning her and entrusts the recovery procedure to her 28.
  • Dugu Bo — Human patient recruited by Jin Jiuxiao. Bi Ji’s healing and toxin diagnosis supply concrete benefits that support his allegiance 33 34 36.
