The Aiur Star System

Shen Jun named the star system where Aiur resided the Aiur Star System. It spanned roughly one light-year in diameter, containing one star and five planets, with Aiur being the second.

The first planet was too close to the star, the smallest in size, with the highest surface temperature and relatively homogeneous resources, though it boasted extremely abundant metal deposits. It had no natural satellites. Due to its widespread lava and skies thick with volcanic ash, Shen Jun named it Char.

The second planet, Aiur, was a lush jungle world, with vegetation covering a staggering seventy percent of its land area. The ratio of ocean to land was six to four.

The third was a massive gas giant with seven natural satellites, capable of extracting extremely rich Vespene Gas. Named Midir, the Protoss had begun constructing numerous collection pods on two of its moons a month and a half ago to refine Vespene Gas and bolster the fleet's energy reserves.

The fourth and fifth planets were too far from the star, nearly frozen worlds. Whether more resources lay beneath their surfaces would require lengthy exploration. Shen Jun simply named them Kaya Star and Blai Star.

The Trigonians had already entered the vicinity of Blai Star. The leader of this Trigonian civilization was Variegated Blue, and in terms of strength, measured by the gene warrior system, he was a Second Generation Trigonians Warrior.

In this era, the Third Generation God Body had only recently been researched. Even among god-forging civilizations, the vast majority of soldiers had just been mass-evolved to first-generation super soldiers. Second-generation warriors were a rare elite force, and those who truly possessed a God Body numbered only a handful.

Previously, the Trigonian Shen Jun had defeated on Giant Elephant Star was merely a first-generation unit.

In terms of technology, the Trigonians were clearly lagging behind the God River Body. They didn't even have a single third-generation Trigonian. They continuously evolved their psychic attack abilities, but their ceiling was already set.

The Arbiter-class warship was an older model among the Protoss, only eligible for high-ranking officials of the Executor caste to pilot. Kerasul had never stopped researching the Trigonian corpses. You might not imagine his genius—he had actually translated the Trigonian language from a single corpse!

Every reconnaissance plane was equipped with a Trigonian language translator, capable of intermittently translating their conversations.

"Can these ugly Trigonians talk any faster?"

A certain reconnaissance plane pilot complained. The translator couldn't translate the Trigonian language in real time because the data to compute was too massive; delay was unavoidable.

In any case, Variegated Blue likely assumed the angels had reached Giant Elephant Star before them and wiped out their advance force. No one expected the Protoss to appear out of nowhere.

"Mysterious fellow, how will you win this war?"

He Xi watched the battle from a small asteroid in orbit around Blai Star. This position was far from Variegated Blue's army and wouldn't be easily detected.

Shen Jun guessed He Xi wouldn't really leave. She would definitely hide within the Aiur System to observe every move of the Protoss. Of course, Shen Jun couldn't let her watch so openly.

He covered all his Robotics Facilities and Stargates with Invisibility Force Fields, as well as the mining base on Midir's moon.

Vespene Gas wasn't simply gas in the literal sense. It was a mixture of various gases similar to hydrocarbons, refined from common cosmic gases. However, vast quantities of gas could only yield a small amount of Vespene Gas, so only gaseous planets could stably refine it.

Vespene Gas wasn't just a clean, efficient fuel; more importantly, it was one of the few substances that could catalyze psionic energy. Psionic warships fueled by Vespene Gas saw a significant boost in power output.

In the entire Super God Universe, only the Protoss possessed the technology to refine Vespene Gas. How could Shen Jun let that be exposed so easily?
