Ch. 1This Was Definitely a Pokémon Egg!!

After hitting his head during a Pokémon stream, Chu Xin was reborn in a Pokémon world and spent his childhood longing to catch his first Pokémon. On his twelfth birthday, his father gave him an enormous egg that Chu Xin recognized as a Pokémon Egg.

  • Chu Xin complained about Dragonite’s place in the competitive meta before falling off his chair and striking his head.
  • Chu Xin woke as a newborn in another world, where his new parents welcomed him.
  • More than ten years later, Chu Xin tried to catch a Caterpie in his family’s garden, but Aier interrupted him.
  • Aier reminded Chu Xin that his parents were waiting to celebrate his twelfth birthday.
  • Chu Xin’s father, Chu Lian, presented him with an enormous egg, and Chu Xin realized it was a Pokémon Egg.

Ch. 2This world actually had no Pokémon League!!

Chu Xin received a Dratini egg for his birthday and discovered that this world had no Pokémon League and still called Pokémon magical beasts. After his parents left, he asked his maid Aier about her magical beast, and she revealed a Poké Ball hidden beneath her skirt.

  • Chu Xin recognized the egg Chu Lian gave him as a Dratini egg, though he concealed his disappointment and pretended to be happy.
  • Chu Xin learned from Chu Lian that this world had no Pokémon League and that people called Pokémon magical beasts.
  • Tian Shuyao fussed over Chu Xin at the birthday party, and Chu Lian took her away when she offered to stay home with him.
  • Chu Xin reluctantly said goodbye to his parents as they left by plane for work.
  • Chu Xin asked Aier about her magical beast, and she showed him the Poké Ball strapped to her leg.

Ch. 3The Ability to Hear Pokémon's Thoughts

Chu Xin discovered that he could understand Pokémon when he met Aier’s Garchomp, then researched the world and learned that it had monster tamers and regional champions but no Pokémon League. He resolved to pursue becoming Champion while his Monster Egg began incubating.

  • Aier released her Garchomp, and Chu Xin understood the Pokémon’s thoughts as he played with it.
  • Aier recalled Garchomp and explained that monsters were dangerous and that Chu Xin’s egg was a Monster Egg that could hatch faster in the villa’s incubator.
  • Chu Xin had Aier put the Monster Egg in the incubator, then went to the villa’s library to research the world.
  • Chu Xin learned that humans called Pokémon monsters and that tamers battled them in a world without a Pokémon League.
  • Chu Xin researched psychic abilities, concluded that his power only let him understand Pokémon, and set his goal of becoming the year’s Champion Monster Tamer.

Ch. 4My First Pokémon, Dratini!!

Two weeks after announcing his ambition to become Champion, Chu Xin watched his first Pokémon hatch and welcomed Dratini into his family. He caught Dratini and vowed to raise it into his strongest partner on the road to Victory Road.

  • Aier told Chu Xin that his Pokémon Egg was about to hatch, and he hurried to the hatching room.
  • The Egg hatched, revealing a shy Dratini that hid behind the incubator and watched Chu Xin and Aier.
  • Aier prepared Garchomp's Poké Ball to protect Chu Xin, but Chu Xin reassured her and approached Dratini gently.
  • Chu Xin offered Dratini a Poké Ball and promised to treat it like family, and Dratini accepted the capture.
  • Chu Xin celebrated catching Dratini and resolved to make it his mainstay and become the strongest Trainer-and-Pokémon team.

Ch. 5Pokéblocks

Chu Xin tried to make Pokéblocks for Dratini but produced an inedible batch. Aier revealed that Chu Lian ran the world’s largest Pokéblock Manufacturing Company, leaving Chu Xin ready to ask his father for proper Pokéblocks.

  • Chu Xin learned from Aier that the garden trees bore Berries and gathered some to make Pokéblocks.
  • Chu Xin blended the Berries, filtered the juice, and set it in molds, but Dratini and Chu Xin found the homemade Pokéblocks disgusting.
  • Aier identified the batch’s flaws and revealed her box of high-quality Pokéblocks.
  • Dratini lunged for Aier’s Pokéblocks, but Garchomp stopped the little dragon until Aier allowed it a bite.
  • Aier told Chu Xin that Chu Lian ran the largest Pokéblock Manufacturing Company and could supply Pokéblocks for Dratini.

Ch. 6Inherited move: Extreme Speed

Chu Xin motivated his lazy Dratini, Xiao Wu, with the promise of the best Pokéblocks and began training him. Xiao Wu showed off an inherited Extreme Speed move, and Chu Xin ended the first training session exhausted on the Manor’s sports field.

  • Chu Xin used the promise of delicious Pokéblocks to persuade Xiao Wu to pursue becoming the greatest Pokémon.
  • Chu Xin took Xiao Wu to the Manor’s sports field and asked him to demonstrate his moves.
  • Xiao Wu revealed that he knew Extreme Speed, which Chu Xin believed he had inherited from a Dragonite parent.
  • Chu Xin praised Xiao Wu and ran laps alongside him, but collapsed from exhaustion after more than ten laps.
  • Aier watched over Chu Xin and Xiao Wu while Garchomp showed little faith in their training.

Ch. 7An angry Dragon Rage

Chu Xin discovered that Little Mu could use Dragon Rage when angered and tried to help the Dratini master the move. Little Mu’s fury flared again after Chu Xin falsely claimed there were no Pokéblocks, leaving him dodging harmless blasts while Aier and Garchomp watched.

  • Little Mu became angry when Chu Xin abandoned their run and accidentally struck his recliner with Dragon Rage.
  • Chu Xin apologized and promised Little Mu double Pokéblocks, and Little Mu forgave him.
  • Chu Xin tried to get Little Mu to repeat Dragon Rage, but Little Mu could not summon the move while calm.
  • Chu Xin claimed there would be no Pokéblocks, provoking Little Mu into firing a stronger Dragon Rage blast.
  • Little Mu chased Chu Xin around the field with more blasts, while Aier and Garchomp watched and noted that Little Mu was avoiding him.

Ch. 8A new training method

Chu Xin began training Xiao Wu to master its Shed Skin and Marvel Scale Abilities, using paralysis potions to trigger and test them. Xiao Wu endured the grueling session for the promised Pokéblocks, while Aier and her Garchomp watched in confusion.

  • After Xiao Wu mastered Dragon Rage during their morning roughhousing, Chu Xin took it to the sports field for further training.
  • Chu Xin promised Xiao Wu ten Pokéblocks, and it agreed to follow his instructions.
  • Chu Xin gave Xiao Wu a paralysis potion, and Xiao Wu recovered from its effects in one minute.
  • Chu Xin repeatedly paralyzed Xiao Wu and made it exercise to train its control over Shed Skin and Marvel Scale.
  • Aier questioned Chu Xin's strange training as her Garchomp watched Xiao Wu with sympathy.

Ch. 9A Stranger's Visit

Chu Xin showed off Little Moo’s training progress when Chu Lian arrived with Lei Xiao, a police officer and new Pokémon trainer. Lei Xiao introduced her lively Growlithe, leaving Chu Xin eager to raise one himself.

  • Chu Xin reflected on Little Moo learning Thunder Wave and Dragon Tail through training.
  • Chu Lian arrived by helicopter and introduced Lei Xiao to Chu Xin.
  • Little Moo struck at Lei Xiao after she patted Chu Xin, but Chu Xin calmed him and apologized.
  • Lei Xiao asked Chu Xin to call her Big Sis and learned that Little Moo was his Pokémon.
  • Lei Xiao summoned her Growlithe, whose energetic affection for her impressed Chu Xin.

Ch. 10Battling Growlithe

Lei Xiao asked Chu Xin for Xiao Wu's shed skin, but Xiao Wu refused because she had hit Chu Xin, so they settled the matter with a battle. Xiao Wu lost to Lei Xiao's Growlithe and fainted, leaving the request for shed skin unresolved.

  • Lei Xiao asked Chu Xin for Xiao Wu's shed skin, and Xiao Wu refused because she still resented Lei Xiao for hitting Chu Xin.
  • Lei Xiao challenged Xiao Wu to a battle, offering to apologize and grant one of Xiao Wu's conditions if it won.
  • Chu Xin directed Xiao Wu as Growlithe used Agility and Flamethrower to pressure it and cut off its escape routes.
  • Chu Xin told Xiao Wu to endure Growlithe's attack in the flames, relying on its Marvel Scale ability to withstand the hit.
  • Xiao Wu trapped Growlithe with Bind and unleashed Dragon Rage, but Growlithe used Flame Wheel and Protect to break free and avoid the attack.
  • Xiao Wu collapsed and lost consciousness, leaving Lei Xiao's request for its shed skin unsettled.

Ch. 11Special training

After Xiao Wu lost to Lei Xiao's Growlithe, Chu Xin comforted him and planned a new training regimen to help him improve. The chapter ended with Chu Xin bringing Xiao Wu into a dense forest to practice Extreme Speed through the trees.

  • Xiao Wu woke after his defeat, and Chu Xin reassured him that they would train harder and win next time.
  • Chu Xin reviewed how Xiao Wu had used Extreme Speed, Flamethrower’s sparks, and Marvel Scale to challenge Growlithe before Protect blocked Dragon Rage.
  • Chu Xin planned to use Extreme Speed and ranged attacks to counter Growlithe, while reminding Xiao Wu that Marvel Scale, Shed Skin, and Thunder Wave could help.
  • Chu Xin took Xiao Wu to a dense forest, where Aier had cleared away nearby Pokémon and prepared treatment in case Xiao Wu was injured.
  • Chu Xin told Xiao Wu to sprint back and forth through the trees with Extreme Speed to improve his physical abilities and control.

Ch. 12The Everstone's Special Ability

Chu Xin struggled to help Xiao Wu control Extreme Speed until Aier identified the life energy in Xiao Wu’s body as the problem and gave him an Everstone to suppress it. With the stone weakening Xiao Wu’s Dragon Rage, they prepared to continue training.

  • Xiao Wu repeatedly crashed into trees while practicing Extreme Speed, and Chu Xin struggled to teach him to control his energy.
  • Aier offered to help, listened to Chu Xin’s training method, and judged it useful for a young Pokémon.
  • Aier discovered that unusual energy filling Xiao Wu’s body interfered with his control of moves.
  • Aier put an Everstone necklace on Xiao Wu, and Xiao Wu confirmed it worked by firing a weaker Dragon Rage at a tree.
  • Chu Xin thanked Aier, relieved that Xiao Wu could continue training.

Ch. 13Jindu Gym

After Xiao Wu mastered the required Extreme Speed training, Chu Xin gave it a day off and traveled with Aier to Jindu to buy training equipment and learn more about raising Pokémon. At the Jindu Gym, an elderly man warned Chu Xin not to touch its century-old, authenticated cultural relics.

  • With the Everstone and Aier's help, Xiao Wu completed Chu Xin's Extreme Speed training after a week and gained better control over its movements.
  • Chu Xin praised Xiao Wu and promised it a day off, then planned to use the time to learn more about training Pokémon.
  • The next day, Chu Xin and Aier took the high-speed train to Jindu without Xiao Wu, since Chu Xin lacked a Monster Handler license.
  • Chu Xin bought exercise equipment at Jindu's monster training center and had Aier arrange for it to be sent to the villa.
  • At the Jindu Gym, an elderly man knocked Chu Xin's hand away from a wooden pillar and explained that the Gym was a cultural relic over a hundred years old.

Ch. 14Gym Leader Chen Huan

Chu Xin visited Jindu Gym to learn how to raise Pokémon, but found it dilapidated and its Gym Leader, Chen Huan, eccentric. Chen Huan revealed his power through Vespiquen and a huge swarm of Combee, leaving Chu Xin to reconsider whether the old man was qualified to teach him.

  • Chen Huan tried to drive Chu Xin out of Jindu Gym until Aier introduced him as the young master of Infinite Energy Pokéblock Company.
  • Chen Huan welcomed Chu Xin inside, introduced himself as Jindu Gym's Gym Leader, and secretly ordered Vespiquen to have its Combee watch the visitors.
  • Chu Xin found several dusty, neglected rooms, while Aier told him Chen Huan was powerful enough to defeat Garchomp.
  • Chu Xin asked Chen Huan to teach him techniques for raising Pokémon, and Aier explained that he meant Monsters.
  • Chen Huan summoned Vespiquen and surrounded it with rings of Combee, then asked Chu Xin whether he now seemed qualified.

Ch. 15Lei Jing, the Hotheaded Kid

Chu Xin paid Chen Huan Pokéblocks for Monster-training lessons and received a Jindu Gym Badge that would let him take Xiao Wu outside. On the way home, Chu Xin encountered Lei Xiao and her hostile nephew, Lei Jing.

  • Chu Xin agreed to pay Chen Huan thirty Pokéblocks a month for training advice, and Aier handed over the first month's tuition.
  • Chen Huan gave Chu Xin a Jindu Gym Badge and explained that he distributed Badges freely to meet the Gym's quota.
  • Chu Xin accepted the Badge so he could take Xiao Wu outside and left the Gym with Aier.
  • Lei Xiao stopped Chu Xin on the street with her nephew, Lei Jing, and Lei Jing challenged him while bragging about his Growlithe.
  • Lei Xiao struck Lei Jing for speaking rudely, then introduced him to Chu Xin as her nephew and the owner of the Growlithe she had trained.

Ch. 16A little reverse psychology!

Chu Xin learned about the Monster Handler Exam and resolved to enter so he could avenge Xiao Wu’s first loss to Lei Jing’s Growlithe. He used reverse psychology to persuade Xiao Wu to agree to grueling training, leaving them ready to begin preparing for the competition.

  • Lei Jing challenged Chu Xin to compete in the Monster Handler Exam, and Lei Xiao explained the exam’s certificates and benefits.
  • Aier told Chu Xin that Xiao Wu was strong enough to take the exam but would struggle to earn a good result or beat Lei Jing’s Growlithe.
  • Chu Xin returned home and reminded Xiao Wu of his defeat, reigniting Xiao Wu’s desire to challenge Growlithe.
  • Chu Xin pretended that Xiao Wu had no chance and that he would spare him tough training, prompting Xiao Wu to insist on training to win.
  • Chu Xin revealed that he had secretly recorded Xiao Wu agreeing to undergo the difficult training.

Ch. 17Dragonite's Reverse Scale

Chu Xin brought Xiao Wu to Chen Huan for training and learned that the young Dratini’s growth limited its strength. Chen Huan gave Chu Xin an Elite Four-level Dragonite’s reverse scale to help Xiao Wu control Dragon-type energy and learn powerful moves.

  • Chu Xin visited the Jindu Gym with Aier and Xiao Wu, where he saw Vespiquen rationing a Pokéblock for her Combee.
  • Chu Xin gave Vespiquen three Pokéblocks before asking Chen Huan to assess Xiao Wu’s training.
  • Chen Huan said Xiao Wu had been raised well but could not grow stronger through ordinary training until its young body developed.
  • Chu Xin explained that he needed Xiao Wu to grow stronger before a Monster Tamer exam in two months, so Chen Huan proposed teaching it powerful moves.
  • Chen Huan gave Chu Xin the reverse scale of an Elite Four-level Dragonite, saying its Dragon-type energy would improve Xiao Wu’s control.

Ch. 18Chen Huan's Notebook

Chu Xin received a Dragonite scale on loan and Chen Huan’s training notebook, then used the notes to plan Xiao Wu’s training. Chen Huan realized he had given Chu Xin the wrong Dragonite scale.

  • Chu Xin admired the Dragonite scale Chen Huan lent him and asked whether he had more treasures for Xiao Wu.
  • Chen Huan gave Chu Xin his training notebook, and Chu Xin offered him three hundred Pokéblocks plus a monthly supply of three hundred and fifty as tuition.
  • Chen Huan showed the Pokéblocks to Vespiquen, who fainted from excitement at the prospect of their new food supply.
  • Chu Xin studied the notebook, learned Chen Huan’s methods focused on raising Vespiquen, and developed a training plan for Xiao Wu.
  • Chu Xin headed to the training grounds, hoping Xiao Wu could beat Little Lei Jing’s Growlithe in two months.
  • Chen Huan frowned over another Dragonite scale and realized he had handed Chu Xin the wrong one.

Ch. 19Dragon Rush!

Chu Xin began training Xiao Wu with Dragonite’s reverse scale, but its power overwhelmed Xiao Wu and injured him badly. When Chu Xin rushed into the energy to save him, he collapsed, and Xiao Wu faced the rampaging Dragonite alone.

  • Chu Xin removed Xiao Wu’s Everstone and hung Dragonite’s reverse scale around his neck to begin training him to control its Dragon-type energy.
  • The scale’s flames overwhelmed Xiao Wu, and his attempts to control the energy failed as it burned and wounded him.
  • Chu Xin ordered Aier to remove the scale, but its energy blasted Garchomp away and formed a rampaging Dragonite.
  • Aier restrained Chu Xin as he tried to reach Xiao Wu, but a dark blur struck the back of her neck with a Paralysis Needle.
  • Chu Xin broke free, endured the energy, and carried the unconscious Xiao Wu, but he collapsed before removing the scale.
  • Xiao Wu faced the Dragonite projection without fear and launched himself at it with Dragon Rush.

Ch. 20Dynamax Energy

After Xiao Wu and Chu Xin collapsed, Aier confronted Chen Huan, who defeated her Garchomp and explained that Xiao Wu’s Dragonite scale contained dangerous Dynamax Energy. Chen Huan took the scale back and left, believing Chu Xin would eventually come looking for him.

  • Xiao Wu collapsed from exhaustion while shielding Chu Xin, and Aier called Chansey to treat them.
  • Chen Huan arrived with Vespiquen and Combee, and Aier attacked him with Garchomp’s Hyper Beam.
  • Vespiquen blocked the attack, confused Garchomp, and knocked him unconscious with Air Slash.
  • Chen Huan identified Xiao Wu’s scale as a Dynamax Dragonite reverse scale and explained that Dynamax Energy empowered Pokémon but made them uncontrollable.
  • Aier ordered Chen Huan to take the scale and leave, and he departed with Vespiquen, expecting Chu Xin to seek him out later.
