After throwing a welcome party for the newly arrived Ai Haibara Meow in true One Piece world fashion, Xie Wen and the others began preparing to leave the East Blue.
Just as when they had left the West Blue, they currently had three options-Reverse Mountain, the Red Line, and the Calm Belt plus the Grand Line.
Unlike before, however, now that they had gotten a piece of Seastone from Garp and had Hua Mei Meow on the team, Reverse Mountain was no longer Xie Wen's only viable route. They could try crossing the Calm Belt and the Grand Line.
Although they only had one fairly small piece of Seastone, which might not work as well as the Marines' warships, with their lucky kitty Klee Meow around, Xie Wen felt it was worth a try. At worst, they could just turn back.
Judging by the overall map of the One Piece world, taking this route to the South Blue would only bring them through the first half of the Grand Line. With their current strength, there probably would not be too much danger. Even the only concern, finding their way, could be solved with the Log Pose Garp had provided.

Although Xie Wen wanted to take this opportunity to see the Calm Belt and the Grand Line, he still asked the cats for their opinions.
