"Wow, wow, wow! Look, Xie Wen! It's just like Pekoms said! There are so many interesting Homies here, meow!"
Ever since they entered Sweet Town, Klee Meow had been in a constant state of excitement.
After all, Totto Land's fairy-tale scenery was simply too appealing to children. Even the normally composed Ai Haibara Meow had dropped her reserve, joining Klee Meow and Shirahoshi in exclaiming all along the way...
And, along with Klee Meow, she was tormenting the Sapphire Star's poor ears, one on either side.
Besides the Homies of all shapes and forms, the town's residents were also remarkably diverse. They had already seen many unusual races at the Slave Auction House in the Sabaody Archipelago, and over their years at sea, they had occasionally encountered other races too.
But even all the races Xie Wen and the others had encountered before put together were not as comprehensive a collection as what they saw here.
Although there were no members of the Giant Tribe, there were Tontatta, whom they had never seen before. Add in the member of the Three-Eye Tribe who would become engaged to Sanji in the future, along with mixed descendants of various unusual races, and the island's racial diversity undoubtedly topped the entire One Piece world.
As frequent fixtures in the recent headlines, Xie Wen and his companions were naturally no strangers to Whole Cake Island's residents. Because of Shirahoshi's status, they could even see some Fish-Men and Merfolk bowing toward them from a distance.
"Boss Xie Wen, this is exactly what Mother wanted to see!"
Shirahoshi gazed excitedly at the different races living together harmoniously in the town and could not help remarking, "Even though Big Mom is a pirate, she doesn't seem to discriminate against Fish-Men either."
But Xie Wen dampened her enthusiasm.
