Everyone turned in unison toward the voice, only to see a young man in a white shirt standing there casually.
"Whoa! Su Yu! What are you doing here?" Naruto shouted in surprise.
Hearing this, Might Guy whispered to Kakashi beside him, "Is this that Su Yu?"
Kakashi nodded. "Yeah, that's him..."
He showed Su Yu no hostility. Although Su Yu's identity was rather sensitive, and the time and place made it all the more so, Kakashi was not foolish enough to suspect that Su Yu had anything to do with this.
With Kakashi's confirmation, Might Guy gave Su Yu a few curious looks. Aside from being a little handsome, the man seemed utterly unremarkable.
But he was not someone who judged by appearances. He knew that anyone the Hokage took so seriously could not be ordinary.
Su Yu spread his hands, then said:
"Well, I came to watch your matches. Naruto, Sakura, you did well!"
"Hehe!"
Naruto grinned smugly, rubbing his nose with his index finger.
Sakura gave a shy smile and lowered her head slightly.
Taking advantage of the pause, Kakashi asked:
"Mr. Su Yu, did you just say Orochimaru was behind all this?"
Su Yu was very amiable and answered every question. He nodded at Kakashi and said:
"Yes, Orochimaru's subordinates did all of this. And that's not all..."
With that, Su Yu gave an inscrutable smile.
Kakashi and Might Guy raised their eyebrows at the sight. They exchanged a glance, both feeling that something was wrong.
Hearing that Orochimaru was involved, Naruto and Sakura grew anxious too.
If they remembered correctly, that weirdo had been plotting something involving Sasuke all along!
Naruto hurriedly asked, "Su Yu, is Orochimaru still planning to go after Sasuke?"
Su Yu said unhurriedly:
"Don't panic. Don't forget how strong Sasuke is now.
