Edward yawned and closed his eyes again, drowsily feeling as though he had begun to dream. In his dream, a blonde girl walked up to him with a smile and leaned her face close, brimming with affection. He could even feel the warm breath from her mouth.

He shot upright and stared in astonishment at the giant golden retriever beside his bed. "Susie? You-what are you doing here?"
Susie wagged her tail and said happily, "I came to see Lilith."
"No, what I meant was, how did you get to Tingen?"
"I don't know. Audrey took me into a cabinet, then up some stairs, and when we came out, we were here."
"Got it."
Edward looked at the leather pouch beside his bed. Its opening was already spread wide, revealing the space expanded by the Undetectable Extension Charm inside. He glanced around and asked, "Where is she?"
