• Edward left Roselle’s villa after meeting Bernadette, gave her a Pinocchio Doll to keep his presence secret, and began acting mysterious to digest his Secrets Sorcerer potion.
• Edward connected Roselle’s diary to Lilith, sought information from Medici, and heard Medici claim that Cheek’s apotheosis had killed her.
• Edward entered Sefirah Castle, found Zhou Mingrui in a cocoon, and discovered he could receive and answer Bernadette’s prayers.
• Edward settled in Trier, rented the haunted villa at 7 Rose Street, hired Dubois, and arranged for him to set up the household and a meeting with Roselle.
• Edward entered a Twilight Hermit Order gathering as Number Eight and accepted a commission to investigate a hidden object beneath his villa in exchange for information.
• Edward helped Bernadette investigate her suspicions about Matilda and Dubois, and Bernadette decided not to run away from home.

Edward settled into Trier’s social world, reunited Roselle with Sefirah Castle, and uncovered connections among Lilith, Amon, and the Abraham family. The arc left Akasha imprisoned through a Twilight Hermit Order plot while Edward prepared to intervene.

• Akasha learned that Kalaman was badly injured, while Roselle gave Bernadette his handmade dolls and remained reluctant to leave his family.
• Edward suppressed the gray fog in Sefirah Castle and met Roselle there, then asked him to obtain 100 Verl D'Or from the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery.
• Edward moved into a new villa, attended Roselle’s banquet, and saved Bernadette from a Demoness before Zaratul captured the attacker.
• Edward confronted Zaratul, weakened him with Degradation, and escaped after Zaratul fled.
• Edward questioned Medici about Lilith, gave Dubois a Spectator formula, and investigated an underground ruin where he stole Beyonder characteristics from Amon’s trap and found Pallez Zoroaster.
• Edward took Bernadette through the War of the Gods Relic and the Black Monastery’s shared dream, where she found Lilith’s elementary Chinese textbook.
• Trier police arrested Edward and Dubois for the Rose Street murders, while Akasha was imprisoned after injuring Earl Clear’s grandson and refused an offer to kill Earl Clear.
• Roselle secured Edward’s release, and Edward learned that the Twilight Hermit Order had arranged Akasha’s arrest before resolving to rescue her if Roselle could not help.

Edward manipulated the Misery Contest, pursued the Brass Rod’s trail, and helped Roselle prepare to sail while keeping Bernadette close. As the Twilight Hermit Order investigated a deviation in the tide of the times, Edward turned his attention to Amon’s traps, the Abraham Family, and the Mind Dragon Ariehogg.

• Edward staged the Misery Contest, showed Pallez and Reinette their grim futures, and promised Reinette help against the Indulgence Faction while revealing Mobet Zoroast was alive inside Groselle’s Travels.
• Edward helped Akasha escape after Earl Clear’s assassination, learned a Demoness had arranged the murder and sought a Brass Rod, then traced her to Ms. Marcia and questioned her about Tarik.
• Edward warned Roselle about the Hidden Sage, helped him prepare for his voyage, and saw him sail with Bernadette before promising to take her to visit her father.
• Roselle welcomed Zaratul aboard his ship, and Zaratul warned him about Amon and the dangers of the War of the Gods Relic.
• Edward confronted Tarik and discovered he was a doll, then took Bernadette to the Oladek Islands, where she saw Roselle and helped Edward frighten him with an illusion.
• Edward discovered that Henry Ansettin’s luck around 7 Rose Street came from a Beyonder’s influence and left Bernadette’s lessons in Dubois’s hands.
• At the Twilight Hermit Order’s gathering, Adam ordered an investigation into the tide of the times’ deviation, and Edward told the members he had encountered Amon before agreeing to protect Roselle in Trier.
• Edward exchanged information with Coward about Amon and the Jacob Family treasure, agreed to meet Hermes about Ariehogg, and began tracking the Abraham Family’s ship while watching Bernadette’s piano lesson.

Edward pursued the Abraham Family, met Mr. Door, and held a gathering that revealed Roselle’s grim future. He then guarded a Brass Rod beneath Trier, fought Krismona and Amon, and encountered Lilith’s memory in the War of the Gods Relic before Amon confronted him.

• Edward searched for Abraham descendants, met Medici, and learned from Mr. Door how to obtain the Planeswalker formula and find a Wanderer characteristic.
• Edward visited the Sanguine to investigate Lilith, then accepted Intis’s commission to guard a Brass Rod beneath Trier in exchange for help obtaining a Dream Weaver characteristic.
• Edward held the Second Misery Contest, showed Roselle his tragic future, and answered the participants’ questions before finishing digesting his potions.
• Edward investigated Tarik and Marcia, learned that Krismona was targeting the Brass Rod, and prepared to guard the relic at 11 Aden Street.
• Hunter was killed, while Coward sought Edward’s help, and Edward drew Krismona away from Trier, and Coward defeated her before Edward threw the Brass Rod to Krismona at the palace.
• Amon confronted Edward, but Edward escaped through layered deceptions into the War of the Gods Relic, where Stieffer pursued him into the Dream World.
• Edward used a mirror and spells to defeat Stieffer, then Amon appeared and demanded to know how Edward knew Lilith.
