• Roselle asked Edward how he had reached the Divine Kingdom, and Edward said a Silver Medal engraved with Special Symbols had connected him to it.

• Edward had a transfigured dog bury his investigation results for “Intis,” then received a map marking a dangerous valley between Intis and Feynapotter.
• Edward’s divination suggested the treasure site would benefit him, and he decided to have Dubois find a safer villa for the servants and slaves.
• Dubois explained that Matilda wanted him to reconcile with Roselle because she believed her husband was lonely, while Dubois feared Roselle had changed after becoming a Beyonder.

Klein tracked down Winter and learned that the Witch had appeared in different forms, then met a modern-dressed girl who revealed she was filming a prank and called him Mr. Fool. The story then shifted to Trier in 1160, where Edward prepared to attend a banquet while leaving the Sanguine siblings at home.

• Klein questioned Winter, who said the Witch had returned what she took from him and recommended that Klein visit Puluo's house.
• Klein went to Puluo's house and saw a girl dressed in modern clothes, whom he suspected was a fellow transmigrator.

In 1160, Edward considered whether his Lilith had been intercepting the Sanguine's prayers, then began planning a housewarming banquet after moving into a new villa.

• Klein questioned whether the grayish-white fog Bernadette described was another Above the Gray Fog, then resolved to finish digesting his Faceless potion and seek Queen Mystic to advance to Sequence 5.
• Priscilla told Medici that Mr. World had commissioned an investigation into a woman's whereabouts, showed him her image, and revealed that the woman was Lilith.

• Edward had Pallez recite his honorific name, connected him to Sefirah Castle, and gained the ability to summon and control him there.
• Pallez asked Edward to erase his memories of Sefirah Castle, but Edward refused and sent him out with the Sequence 4 Beyonder Characteristic.

• Danitz told Emlyn that selling potions to pirates and Beyonders at sea could help him earn the eight thousand pounds he needed, and Emlyn agreed to think about joining him.
