Chapter Summaries

Edward checked on Bernadette and discovered that a Church of the God of Steam and Machinery archbishop was keeping her confined at Roselle's Villa. Back at Sefirah Castle, he subtly gave Amon a trace of humanity, then visited Will Auceptin, who was hiding to eat ice cream.

• Edward went to Roselle's Villa after Bernadette stopped visiting and found an archbishop guarding her while she painted his portrait.
• Edward returned to Sefirah Castle and discussed humanity and Beyonder characteristic convergence with Amon, subtly increasing Amon's curiosity.
• Edward left Amon in his cage and headed to the Spice Shop to find Will Auceptin.
