Chapter Summaries

Roselle and Bernadette found the bodies of Edessak and Helena in Backlund before the Evernight Goddess intercepted Roselle in the Astral World. In the Hall of Truth, Amon and Edward turned Adam’s plan around, forcing Adam to accept the Ancient Sun God’s humanity taking the lead in their fusion, while Amon departed and warned Edward they might meet again over the Lord of the Mysteries.

• Roselle and Bernadette found Edessak and Helena dead in an inn, and Bernadette explained that George III had made his children expendable after they learned his secret.
• Roselle located Adam and the others, but the Evernight Goddess brought him to the Astral World and delayed him from intervening, confirming that Adam and Amon had made their move against Edward and the others.
