Wang Yang was in his room.

Because he was learning so quickly, Kamar-Taj had specially moved him somewhere else to keep others from affecting his progress.

There, he could practice alone without being disturbed by anyone else.

Wang Yang spread his hands, and two red Rings of Raggadorr appeared around his fists like miniature shields.

The runes on the Rings of Raggadorr were now incredibly intricate, completely different from how they had looked at first.

With a wave of his hands, the Rings of Raggadorr dissipated.

Then Wang Yang formed gestures with both hands and swept one upward.

Shadows of glass shards appeared in the air before him. This was the Mirror Dimension, but compared with the Rings of Raggadorr, he was still unfamiliar with this spell and could not cast it as freely.

If he had not repeatedly fused with fragments of Wong's talent for the Mirror Dimension, he might not have been able to cast it at all.

That showed just how difficult it was.

But Kamar-Taj's magic was also different from other kinds of magic.

Kamar-Taj's magic required neither meditation nor other methods of magical cultivation.

While practicing magic, practitioners naturally absorbed energy from the universe, strengthening their magic while also transforming their bodies and improving their physical constitution.

That was why Kamar-Taj's sorcerers could not only use magic but also excelled at close combat.

And because he had fused with the magical and combat talents of several masters, his physical abilities were far from lacking.

Even so, Wang Yang still looked forward to a chance to receive instruction from the Sorcerer Supreme.

After all, even a Master of the Mystic Arts possessed such powerful talent. If he could receive the Sorcerer Supreme's guidance, the talent he gained would surely be even better.

Knock, knock, knock!

Just then, a knock sounded at the door.

With a thought from Wang Yang, the Mirror Dimension forming before him collapsed and vanished.

Wang Yang walked to the door and opened it, finding two people outside.

One was Wong, whom he already knew very well.

The other was an elderly man with a goatee who looked quite refined.

He also had a scholarly air, as though he were a university professor rather than a sorcerer of Kamar-Taj.

"Master, what brings you here?"

Wang Yang was a little surprised. They had only just parted, so why had the Master of the Mystic Arts returned already?

"Wang Yang, this is Master Hamir!"

Wong introduced him to Wang Yang.

"Greetings, Master Hamir!"

Wang Yang bowed respectfully to Hamir.

Of course, he knew who Hamir was.

Hamir was one of Kamar-Taj's Masters of the Mystic Arts.

He was a specialist in magical research.

Even the Sorcerer Supreme held him in high regard.

Clearly, although this Master of the Mystic Arts might not be especially powerful in combat, he certainly had his own unique strengths.

"There's no need to stand on ceremony with us!"

After looking Wang Yang up and down, Hamir said, "I heard you've learned the Rings of Raggadorr?"

"Yes!"

Wang Yang nodded earnestly.

"Good. Let's enter the Mirror Dimension, and you can demonstrate it for me!"

Hamir smiled kindly and nodded.

Hamir waved one hand, without any set gestures or incantations.

A sheet of glass shards appeared before them, forming the Mirror Dimension.

Wang Yang's eyes lit up. For sorcerers, there was no fixed way to cast magic. The stronger they were, the simpler the casting became.

Ding! Talent Fragment detected for the spell Mirror Dimension. Fuse?

Fuse!

As the Talent Fragment fused with him, Wang Yang felt his understanding of the Mirror Dimension deepen.

Before Wang Yang could reflect on it further, however, Hamir and Wong led him into the Mirror Dimension.

"Go ahead and cast it. If there are any problems, Master Hamir will give you some guidance!"

Wong spoke.

His tone was a little odd, though. Dealing with a genius was no easy task, after all.

Yet Hamir was actually inviting a blow to his own confidence. He was truly asking for trouble.

Naturally, Hamir had no idea what Wong was thinking. Instead, he nodded. "That's right. It's been a long time since I've seen a genius. I'd like to see just how capable today's geniuses are!"

Until he saw the truth for himself, he would not believe what Wong had told him.

Learn the Rings of Raggadorr in a few hours?

How was that possible?

Even the Sorcerer Supreme wasn't that remarkable.

Wang Yang naturally had no idea that the smiling Hamir before him had so many thoughts running through his mind.

"Master Hamir, you're too kind. I wouldn't call myself a genius!"

Wang Yang spoke modestly.

Wong waved a hand and said sternly, "Excessive modesty is arrogance!"

"No need to be so polite. Just begin!"

Hearing Wong say this, Wang Yang nodded. "Yes, Master!"

Wang Yang stood before the two of them.

Then he swept both hands, and two red shields appeared around his fists, one on either side.

Unlike their initial instability, his shields were now steady.

The runes upon them had also become incredibly intricate.

Their red light cast a crimson glow over Wong's and Hamir's faces.

Wong and Hamir wore very different expressions.

Having already seen Wang Yang cast the spell successfully, Wong had accepted that he was a genius.

So now he wore an expression that said this was just as expected-his progress was astonishingly fast.

Hamir, on the other hand, stared wide-eyed, as though he had seen some sort of monster.

"Are you sure you only just learned this spell?"

Even Hamir's voice trembled a little.

Without hesitation, Wang Yang quickly replied respectfully, "Yes. I wouldn't dare deceive you, Master!"

"How is that possible!"

Hamir could not help crying out.

Seeing Hamir's disbelief and utter shock, Wong finally felt that he was not facing this alone.

Now he would not look quite so useless.

"Hamir, I wasn't lying to you, was I?"

Wong looked at Hamir with a rare smile. "This boy is a freak of nature. He's only just learned this spell, yet his mastery already surpasses that of many sorcerers!"

"This defies all reason!"

Hamir still had not recovered from his shock. "Wong, are you sure you're not deceiving me? Did he really only just learn this spell from you?"

Hamir could not help asking.

Wong's expression turned serious again. He glanced at Hamir and said, "Do you think I would lie?"

"No, you certainly wouldn't. It's not in your nature. But this is simply too unbelievable!"

Hamir still found it hard to believe.

He waved a hand, and a red shield appeared around it.

Compared with Wang Yang's, his shield was much more powerful.

Wang Yang stared at the Ring of Raggadorr around Hamir's hand, inwardly stunned.

He could sense that Hamir's magic was far more powerful than his own.
