Dio silently added his own sarcastic comment.
Traveling with someone like Ging meant being prepared to have every secret seen through, and he happened to have no such intention.

Cheadle had only taken a few steps when she suddenly remembered something else. She turned back and added, "Two days ago, my mother called and asked you to visit Pati. She said she had a job for you. Go once you've finished things here."
With that, she turned and left without hesitation, ignoring Ging's increasingly strange look.
"Mrs. Yorkshire needs something from me?"
Dio rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
Cheadle had just called it a "job." With how precisely she chose her words, there was no chance it had been a slip of the tongue.
That meant the person Mrs. Yorkshire actually wanted to see was Dio the Hunter.
But the question was, if she wanted to commission a Hunter, why not go straight to Cheadle? Even putting that aside, Mrs. Yorkshire herself was a professional Hunter.
What could make Mrs. Yorkshire prefer to hire him rather than have Cheadle, a Three-Star Hunter, handle it?
"My advice is to think about how you're going to handle this election first, instead of worrying about that."
Ging, who had been watching from the sidelines for a while, finally had a chance to speak.
One look at Dio's expression told him the kid must be thinking about what Cheadle had said before leaving.
But Dio was still too green. Had Ging himself been in that situation, he wouldn't have spent even a second thinking about it.
Who knew whether it was a trap between rivals, meant to disrupt the other's plans?
Dio shook his head at that.
