On the rooftop, after a brief exchange, Cheadle closed her eyes and said nothing more.
Biscuit began chatting with Chairman Netero, as though they were discussing something.
Though each had their own thoughts, the three Candidates present were all thinking about the same thing-

Going by the time they had dispersed last time, there were ten minutes left-
A trace of worry flashed through Cheadle's eyes. Could he really make it in time?
If he was late, he would be eliminated outright.
Although Dio's elimination would be a good thing for her in a sense, Cheadle still did not want this to end with such an anticlimax.
Mizaistom did not want Dio to be late either, though his thinking differed from Cheadle's.
With the clarity of an outside observer, he understood very well that Dio had entered this Election to deal with the mysterious Pariston and help Cheadle clear the obstacles in her path.
That would benefit him as well.

Suddenly, Kanzai's hushed voice reached Mizaistom's ears.
Standing on the platform, Kanzai barely managed to reach Mizaistom's ear and whispered, "Let's get this straight. If we end up facing Cheadle's team, I won't help you hold her off. At most, I'll stop the short one."
Mizaistom nodded and gave a hum of agreement.
He knew Kanzai's circumstances too. There was no telling how many times Cheadle had saved his life on the operating table. By any measure, Kanzai could not possibly attack her.
In fact, that was one of the reasons he had chosen Kanzai as his Collaborator: it would effectively reduce the intensity of the coming battle.
Unfortunately, Ginta had to deal with a group of unusual poachers and could not come help him. Otherwise, Ginta would have been a more suitable choice.
