Chapter 217: Room 2's strategy × the operation begins
The Second Prince extended another invitation to Melody.
The Sixth Queen had no objections and was even quite willing to lend Melody to the Second Prince, because the news the Second Prince brought included an offer to help the Sixth Queen find the missing Tenth and Eleventh Princes.
By the time Joey received this information, the Second Prince had already left a Personal Guard with the Sixth Queen, and Melody had gone to Room 2.
Was it a coincidence?
Clearly not. Joey did not believe the world held so many coincidences, either.
Then this was a plan Room 2 had arranged long ago. In other words, they had already anticipated how his side would act.
There was probably some guesswork involved. After all, they had no way of knowing exactly how much he knew about Room 2. But as long as he knew, going through the Sixth Queen really was the simplest and most convenient way to expose it.
Their arrangement also probably meant they understood the relationship between Melody and his group.
They did not even need to investigate. Simply lumping all the Hunters from the Hunter Association together would let them make a sufficient judgment.
This move was clearly meant to stop them from disrupting Room 10's peace and exposing the people inside.
Their choice also probably meant they had determined they could not secretly recover the body of the Personal Guard who had died in Room 10.
Their judgment was correct. Although Joey could not use En to monitor Room 10 because of his Clone, that task had not been neglected. It had been handed over entirely to Kurapika.
In other words, Kurapika would immediately discover any intrusion into Room 10.
