Joey survived attacks tied to the Fourth Prince’s faction, helped Killua reunite with Alluka, and pursued Gerat while training and exploring. At Heavens Arena, Hisoka and Chrollo’s deathmatch gave Joey a chance to reach Gerat, but Atikem trapped him in [Colosseum] before a blood-faced woman intervened.

• Joey escaped Youpi’s attacks, then witnessed Meruem and Komugi die from the Rose’s effects and left East Gorteau.
• Joey returned to Rocario, learned that Terpsichora was draining Andrei’s aura, and began working with Sambika while investigating an attack on himself.
• Joey’s plan to expose the people pursuing him led him to join the operation to protect Killua, and he helped fight Illumi’s allies before returning to the group.
• Joey and Gon fought Mafia attackers and sensory-deprivation users, while Joey destroyed the bodies of missing-eyed Amateur Hunters after suspecting their memories could be read.
• Joey explored the World Tree, developed a Weather Nen Beast, and adopted Kite’s prepared identity as Foxwood to investigate Gerat at Heavens Arena.
• Joey spied on Gerat and learned that Gerat wanted him brought back dead or alive, then planned to use Hisoka and Chrollo’s fight to get close to him.
• As Chrollo and Hisoka fought, Joey attacked Gerat’s group, but Atikem trapped Joey with [Colosseum] and forced them both into Zetsu.
• Killer Queen defeated Atikem and broke [Colosseum], but a woman warned Joey not to touch him as blood-made faces appeared on both of them.

Joey defeated Gerat, survived Hisoka and Chrollo’s battle, and built up allies and resources while preparing for the Dark Continent. After confronting Kakin’s Weapons in Saherta and learning of their past expedition, he followed Illumi up Kukuroo Mountain to meet Zigg.

• Joey killed Misora and her companions, then uncovered Gerat’s deception and escaped Heavens Arena after killing Gerat aboard his airship.
• Hisoka killed Kortopi and Shalnark after his battle with Chrollo, and Joey healed Hisoka in exchange for the bodies and a chance to find Machi.
• Joey investigated Ming, learned from Cheadle that its God Script could consume its user, and hired Sambika and Goreinu while building a laboratory.
• Joey reached the 200th Floor, defeated Razor and Wing, and received Ging’s notes and guidance about God Script and the coming Dark Continent expedition.
• Joey traveled to Saherta, discovered that its border mark exposed outsiders using Nen, and fought the Weapons who tracked him through the desert.
• Joey captured Ming and a sniper, killed Orlando before he could complete a God Script vow, and learned that Kakin had made an agreement with the Weapons and reached the Dark Continent before.
• Joey returned to his laboratory, learned that Ming’s cry trapped nearby souls in Coins, and arranged through Killua to meet Zigg.
• Joey followed Illumi up Kukuroo Mountain after revealing that he had detected him approaching with En active.

Joey joined Kurapika’s effort to protect the lower-ranking princes and maneuver against Tserriednich, while secretly pursuing his own alliances and investigations aboard the B.W. Ship. The Eighth and Thirteenth Princes died, Marayam’s fate remained uncertain, and Joey prepared to probe an assassination of Nasubi Hui Guo Rou as a new attack deepened the mystery.

• Joey accepted Zigg’s plan to infiltrate the ancient city and assassinate Brion, then traveled to Kakin under a new identity and agreed to work with Kurapika on the voyage.
• Joey joined Momoze’s security team with Kurapika, helped repel attacks by Nen Beasts, and began teaching Momoze about Nen while investigating the princes’ abilities.
• Joey and Kurapika pursued an alliance with Chorai, and Joey secretly arranged an ambush that killed Lihan and implicated the Third Prince before Hisoka revealed himself among the guards.
• Joey and Kurapika navigated Benjamin’s attempts to identify the attackers, while Kurapika awakened Momoze’s Nen and negotiated with Benjamin to teach Nen to the princes’ guards.
• Joey monitored the princes’ Nen Beasts and investigated the white snakes killing people in the Thirteenth Prince’s room, while Kurapika began training the gathered guards and representatives.
• Benjamin used [Foreigner] to devour the Eighth Prince’s Guardian Spirit Beast, and Joey recorded the act as possible leverage before the Eighth Prince was reported dead.
• Joey failed to retrieve his hidden camera after an attacker destroyed his parrots, then promised Melody he would help Kacho and Fugetsu after their mission and prepared to use her music to probe an assassination of Nasubi Hui Guo Rou.
• The Seventh Queen returned in a wheelchair and accused Joey and Kurapika of causing Marayam’s death, while another attack by Majority of the Silent raised suspicion that the assassin was acting from outside the room.

Joey and Kurapika manipulated the Succession War while investigating Nasubi’s powers and moving Kacho and Fugetsu toward safety. Joey descended to the lower tiers, allied with Morena and the Shu-U Family, and the Third Prince became entangled in Gohndobba’s murder and the hunt for the missing princes.

• Joey and Kurapika exposed Satobi’s concealed Nen, while Biscuit’s confrontation led the Seventh Queen to order his arrest for Marayam’s assassination.
• Joey and Hisoka helped Kacho and Fugetsu escape to the Third Tier, where Piyon sheltered them, as Joey and Kurapika confronted Tserriednich and Joey later destroyed the Fourth Prince.
• Joey and Kurapika dealt with Benjamin’s questions and the escalating violence aboard the ship, while Joey arranged to leave the First Tier and protect Momoze.
• Joey and Hisoka broke into Nasubi’s bedchamber, and Joey’s attempted bomb failed when Nasubi revived and revealed further Guardian Nen Beast powers.
• Joey moved Kacho and Fugetsu through the lower tiers, evaded surveillance, and made a deal with Onior to send Shu-U Family personnel to the First Tier.
