• Princess Saro's human love for Sesshomaru enabled demons to possess her dying body, creating a half-demon who secretly gathered willing spirits and planned to seize Tessaiga.
• Naraku manipulated events to draw Sesshomaru away and guide Inuyasha's party toward Saro's seaside trap while Kagome was away.
• Saro posed as a living sacrifice and convinced Miroku, Inuyasha, and Sango to protect her from a supposed sea god.

• Naraku corrupted Hōsenki’s Shikon Shards and used his abilities and stolen demon power to overpower him.

• Li Xia found Naraku recovering in a cave and struck him with Hell Dragon Break, shattering his barrier and tearing his body apart.

• Jaken told Sesshomaru that the Sound Prison Ghost had taken Rin, and Sesshomaru fled with him after scattering Monk Yunya and his disciples.

• Li Xia brought Bankotsu and Entei to Dao Qiu’s forge and had Bankotsu demonstrate the Banryu Great Spear’s power.

Elsewhere, Dao Qiu advanced his weapon forging, Bankotsu and Jakotsu disappeared while investigating the Four Souls Imitation Jewel makers, and Izumo’s forces used human bandits to capture villagers without attracting spiritual protectors.

• Li Xia considered forging Dragon Man’s scales and Ryūkotsusei’s remains into the Fire-Tipped Spear, then decided to use Mountain Demon’s Reproduction to strengthen his Kirin Arm with Sesshomaru’s demon power.
