Li Xia weakened Naraku’s forces, strengthened his own powers, and tried to secure Tessaiga for Inuyasha while preparing to confront Ryūkotsusei. The arc ended with Ryūkotsusei sealed at Mount Hakurei and Hakushin agreeing to help Li Xia take the dragon demon’s heart blood.

• Sesshomaru wielded Tessaiga with Li Xia’s human arm and devastated Naraku’s demon horde, then Li Xia led him to Naraku’s Castle and helped expose Naraku’s hidden body, though Naraku escaped.
• Li Xia bound Goshinki to the Mountain Demon, gathered magical power from the fallen monks and mikos, and trained with Kagome before she awakened Inuyasha from his sealing.
• Li Xia visited Mount Hakurei, learned from Hakushin, and later trapped Kagura, who revealed Naraku’s recent gains and agreed to keep working for him while sharing information with Li Xia.
• Naraku returned through the Golden-Eating Insect as Miroku’s Wind Tunnel reopened, while Inuyasha’s demon blood erupted during a fight with Gatenmaru and frightened the villagers.
• Li Xia learned that Tessaiga helped suppress Inuyasha’s demon blood, took the Blade of Qian from Hojo Akitsune, and offered Sesshomaru the Heaven and Earth Longsword in exchange for Tessaiga.
• Sesshomaru rejected Li Xia’s bargain and left Tessaiga behind, so Li Xia wielded it with Kagura’s arm and used her wind power to unleash a stronger Wind Scar.
• Li Xia led the Mountain Demon and the Poison Flood Dragon north with Ryūkotsusei’s corpse, and Yunya and his disciples joined them on the journey to Mount Hakurei.
• Li Xia sealed Ryūkotsusei at Mount Hakurei and asked Hakushin to suppress the dragon demon so he could take blood from its heart, and Hakushin agreed to act against Ryūkotsusei.

Li Xia expanded his power, led the Li Family against the Smith Family, and clashed with Naraku over the Shikon Shards. As he and Kikyo investigated new threats, Manganomaru awakened the Tree of Ages, spreading its power across the forest.

• Li Xia reinforced Ryūkotsusei’s seal, revived Bankotsu as Mount Hakurei’s gatekeeper, and learned from Tōga why Sesshomaru had inherited Tenseiga.
• The Li Family destroyed the Smith Family’s stronghold, took its spoils, and gave Li Xia eight depleted Shikon Shards.
• Naraku stole the Shikon Shards, but their sacred power burned him and Kagome later forced him to drop them during his attack on the shrine.
• Li Xia left Inuyasha’s group, trained on Mount Hakurei, subdued Entei, and strengthened Mountain Demon by having it absorb the Pagoda Giant Demon.
• Li Xia rescued Kikyo from Naraku’s Soul Collector, then revived and contracted the Life-Melting Tree.
• Manganomaru attacked Inuyasha and Miroku, while Sesshomaru intervened and Sango and Kagome fought the Demonesses to save Kirara.
• After Li Xia and Kikyo rode toward the Forest of No Return, Manganomaru broke the Dog General’s seal and awakened the Tree of Ages, whose roots and demon power spread through the forest.

Li Xia pursued Naraku after the demon stole Tessaiga, while Sesshomaru searched for Rin and Li Xia gathered new allies and powers. The stretch ended with Li Xia cultivating Sesshomaru’s demon power, Bankotsu and Jakotsu departing on a new search, and Izumo arranging for bandits to capture villagers.

• Li Xia and Kikyo attacked the Tree of Ages, and Kagome destroyed its final support, interrupting Manganomaru’s ritual before the group killed him.
• Li Xia purified the Tree of Ages’ essence and strengthened his equipment, while Miroku struggled to recover from his death and revival.
• Naraku manipulated Saro into trapping Inuyasha’s group, then absorbed her power, took Tessaiga, and left her with a new half-demon body and erased memories.
• Li Xia refused to help Totosai and Myōga without their finding Dao Qiu, then pursued Naraku and battled him in the Demon Graveyard, forcing him to flee.
• Li Xia later attacked Naraku again, but Naraku escaped with Inuyasha, Sango, and Miroku after using glass statues of their companions to distract Li Xia.
• Sesshomaru rescued Rin from the Sound Prison Ghost, let her choose to stay with him, and then met his mother while Li Xia continued purifying Naraku’s flesh.
• Li Xia recruited Dao Qiu and captured Dragon Man, giving the swordsmith a Magatama crystal, while Naraku created Hakudoshi, Red Child, Byakuya, and a strange spider.
• Li Xia secluded himself to reproduce powers from Sesshomaru’s left arm and the Kirin Arm, while Bankotsu revived Jakotsu and the two departed to investigate the Four Souls Imitation Jewel.

Li Xia gathered allies and strengthened his weapons and companions while helping Sesshomaru awaken Bakusaiga and master Meido Zangetsuha. At Mount Hakurei, Li Xia, Kikyo, and Kagome drove Naraku into retreat, but Naraku escaped after manipulating Miroku’s memories.

• Li Xia broke the Glass Curse on Kirara, Shippo, and Aba, returned Sesshomaru’s left arm, and told him that Tōga had sealed Bakusaiga inside him.
• Li Xia defeated Iron Chicken, captured Ox-Head and Horse-Face under contract, and absorbed Hakudoshi while Kikyo purified Kohaku’s Shikon Shard.
• Li Xia helped Kagome pass Mount Azusa’s spiritual test, and Kagome awakened stronger spiritual power alongside memories of Kikyo.
• Li Xia and Kagome disrupted Naraku’s attempt to absorb Kinka and Ginka, then Li Xia sealed the brothers and used their bond blood to strengthen the Mountain Demon and Poison Flood Dragon.
• Sesshomaru defeated Shinigami Oni, absorbed power from her severed arm, and opened a fully circular Meido Zangetsuha with Li Xia’s help.
• Naraku bypassed Kikyo’s barrier and attacked the Temple, but Li Xia returned and joined Kikyo and Kagome in destroying Naraku’s armor and scattering his body.
• Li Xia freed Miroku from the Glass Curse, and Miroku used Wind Tunnel with Li Xia, Kikyo, and Kagome to absorb Naraku’s flesh and miasma.
• Naraku overlaid Miroku’s memories and escaped while Kagura covered his retreat, and Li Xia intercepted Kagura, returned her left arm, and offered her another deal.
