Librarian and Akademiya Genius

Lisa manages the public library inside the Knights of Favonius headquarters, described as Mondstadt’s largest library. Despite her clerical position, she possesses considerable combat strength and is described as a genius witch of the kind the Sumeru Akademiya sees only once every two hundred years 8 81 83.

Her early dealings with Li Qiuzhi concern his borrowed combat manuals. When he fails to return them on time, she visits his home and recruits him to carry books while she collects other overdue loans 80.

Verdant Wings Investigation

An attempt to retrieve Funi’s overdue book leads Lisa and Li Qiuzhi to the Verdant Wings Adventuring Team. Its members attack when Lisa tests their suspicious behavior with a display of lightning. She incapacitates four attackers, and the pair discover Funi’s diary, which records the team’s promise to help ordinary people obtain Visions 81.

Lisa subsequently supports Li Qiuzhi against the Fatui Debt Collector Hesden with her Thunderlight Rose blessing. After his defeat, she identifies his Delusion and deduces that Verdant Wings has been recruiting inexperienced adventurers as subjects for Fatui Delusion experiments. She calls in the Knights and entrusts the prisoners to Kaeya 83 84.

Stormterror Crisis

Jean assigns Lisa and Li Qiuzhi to the Lion of the South’s temple to sever Stormterror’s magical link. Lisa protects them from two Abyss Mages and kills both with lightning, leaving Li Qiuzhi to destroy the hurricane-wrapped amber nexus. Once the disturbed elemental flows settle, she transports them back to Mondstadt 118 119 120 122.

Lisa later joins the effort to summon and save Stormterror. While tracking his traces, she overwhelms monsters at the Eclipse Clan camp; during the summoning operation, she attacks the interfering Abyss Mages and destroys a formation of Hydro bubbles 134 135 136 138 139.

Teaching and the Inazuma Operation

Concerned about Jean’s workload, Lisa asks Li Qiuzhi to draw her away from her office, offering advanced elemental instruction in exchange. Their plan succeeds in getting Jean out, although the outing ultimately involves further work for Mondstadt. Lisa then teaches Li Qiuzhi over the following weeks, helping him develop an Anemo shield and healing burst with Jean’s assistance 190 192 199.

Li Qiuzhi later recruits Lisa for the operation against the Fatui’s Delusion Factory in Inazuma, promising to address her Constellation’s lifespan-consuming side effect. She travels there with Jean and accompanies the initial deployment before returning to Wonderland while Li Qiuzhi and Lumine continue their infiltration 363.

Wonderland Research

Lisa accepts Li Qiuzhi’s proposal to offset her lost lifespan through Harmonization energy and use Wonderland as a protected research environment. She visits the space to plan a laboratory, and equipment is subsequently brought in for her and Sucrose 374 377 381.

Her later work includes developing affordable energy-storing Delusions, examining Cosmic Beast blood, and studying Ancient Dragon Authority alongside other researchers 414 557 703.

Personality

Lisa is languid, elegant, and openly averse to troublesome chores. She readily delegates errands and uses teasing appeals to persuade Li Qiuzhi to help her. Books are the exception to her relaxed approach: she personally pursues overdue loans, objects to damage, and enforces quiet in the library 80 84 89 119.

Her playful intimidation often involves carefully controlled electricity. She can threaten a “little shock” without following through, or deliver a tingling warning rather than a harmful attack. In genuine combat, she is capable of both nonlethal restraint and lethal force 80 81 85 89 120.

Lisa’s dislike of extra work does not prevent her from acting responsibly. She investigates potential dangers despite describing herself as a clerical employee, repeatedly tries to protect Jean from overwork, and insists that research agreements with the Knights be formally documented rather than blurred by friendship 81 119 190 414.
