As the Sun Moon Empire advanced into Heaven Dou, he prepared to investigate its supply line and detection tools, setting out for Dragon City with Nan Qiuqiu.

• The Star Luo Titled Douluos attacked Ye Xishui and destroyed the Death God Tower with Chen Ping’s Sun Moon Divine Needle, while Chen Ping’s trap and Metal Storm devastated the Mingdou Mountain Range.
• The Invincible Shield carried Chen Ping out of the blast, and the Star Luo Empire’s leaders promised him rare metals as compensation before he asked Xuanji Douluo and Dai Hao about Soul Cores.
• Chen Ping learned that the Golden Ancient Tree had fused with Ah Yin and concluded from Zhao Wuji’s temporal afterimage that Tang San was draining the continent’s vitality and weakening potential rivals.

Chen Ping secured the Earth Dragon Sect’s cold spring and the Heavenly Dragon Sect’s support before helping Shrek’s forces destroy Aoke City’s military supplies. In Dongyang City, he joined forces with Lan Fozi against Holy Spirit Cult fighters, then learned of her hatred of Tang San and the missing Sea Princess Clan members.

• Chen Ping accepted Yong Shuang’s request to find her hidden clanspeople and offer them refuge at the Pill Pavilion, then traveled north with Nan Qiuqiu.
• Nan Shuishui sold Chen Ping the Earth Dragon Sect’s Cold Spring, where he and the Snow Empress discovered a Ten-Thousand-Year Mystic Ice Cavern and Chen Ping absorbed profound ice marrow.
• The Heavenly Dragon Sect gave Chen Ping silver dragon scales and its Dragon Pearl, asking him to protect its young disciples if Dragon City fell.

Chen Ping defeated Xiao Bai and two evil Soul Masters, then journeyed with Lan Fozi to the Sea Princess Clan and helped preserve Li Ya’s soul. Back at Shrek Academy, he brought back Deep Sea Silver and turned his attention to powering the Death God Tower before reports of soul beasts gathering in the Star Dou Forest arrived.

• Chen Ping and Lan Fozi fought Xiao Bai on the seabed, where Chen Ping weakened her with the Heart of the Ocean and helped Lan Fozi avenge her father.
• After Xiao Bai fell, Chen Ping absorbed her Soul Ring and Soul Bone, became a Seven-Ring Soul Sage, and evolved his Star Nodule Club into the Demon Shark Spear.
• Chen Ping infiltrated Dongyang City, killed Abomination Douluo and Myriad Souls Douluo, and purified the spirits trapped in the Ten Thousand Souls Banner.
• Chen Ping and Lan Fozi traveled to the Sea Princess Clan, where Chen Ping returned Li Ya’s soul to her family and treated her near-death body with the Living Being Carving Knife.
• The Sea Princess Clan agreed to support Chen Ping, and he obtained Air-Prohibiting Conches and learned that Deep Sea Silver lay in abundance in a nearby seabed rift.

Shrek City fought off the Star Dou Forest’s beast tide with concealed defenses, soul tools, and Chen Ping’s undead army. Di Tian broke free of Xuan Zi’s seal, but Du Busi arrived with the Body Sect and held back his attack as the Soul Beasts withdrew.

• Chen Ping suspected the Holy Spirit Cult had provoked the Soul Beasts and prepared Shrek City for a beast tide as Di Tian allowed the Ferocious Beasts’ anger to rise.
• Shrek’s Elders turned the city walls into four rare-metal War Fortresses, and Shi Xing deployed the defenders as the Soul Beast army approached.
• Xuan Zi fought Di Tian above the city and wounded him with Taotie Armor, then used the Sea God’s Mark to borrow the Pavilion Masters’ power and seal him in the Taotie Domain.
• Shi Xing’s traps and cannon bombardments devastated the Soul Beast army, but Zi JI destroyed the buried defenses and the beasts later attacked Shrek City from multiple sides and from the air.
• The Soul Beasts reached the walls, but rare-metal plates stopped their breach, and the Ferocious Beasts pressed their attack as Zi JI’s rain extinguished Shrek’s incendiary bombs.
• Chen Ping sent his undead army against the Soul Beasts, and the Liches’ reinforcements helped drive them back as slain beasts rose to join the legion.
• Di Tian broke free and prepared another assault, but Du Busi arrived with the Body Sect, shielded Shrek City from Black Dragon Annihilation, and revealed that he had mastered the Body Aspect.
