After a brief silence, a familiar, aged voice echoed in his mind, "You, a newly Advancement Sequence 8 Beyonder, actually know such precious Mysticism knowledge. It's truly an eye-opener—"

"What about our agreement last night?" Lorry asked with a smile.

"Can."

"The Curse of Knowledge," he said in a deep voice, then quickly added, "But I need to remind you, they won't be converted too many times."

"Although I didn't know it so clearly before, I had already figured out the rules of ' the Acting Method ' and ' the Law of Indestructibility of Beyonder Characteristic '."

"Therefore, after the debt is cleared, you only have twenty chances to use me; otherwise, you will still have to pay the price afterward."

Twenty times? That's enough—if not, I can pay with other valuable knowledge—this thought flashed through his mind, and Lorry nodded gently. "Okay."

After saying that, he gently stroked the White Bone Ring, quickly caught up with Hugh's carriage, and while it was waiting to pass, he sat down opposite her without any hesitation.

Xiu stared at the lifted curtain, glancing around suspiciously, frowning and muttering, "Strange, there wasn't a breeze just now—"

She seemed completely oblivious to Lorry, even though he was sitting right across from her!

This is the magic of "Psychological Invisibility".

The horse-drawn carriage was parked near the Harbor Borough.

After paying the fare, Xiu walked to a tavern called the Workers' Union.

Lorry didn't follow them inside. Instead, he looked around and found a Public Bench with an excellent view, where he could clearly observe the people coming and going from the tavern, and sat down.

He crossed his arms and quietly watched the entrance to the tavern.

After a while, Hugh came out from inside.

Lorry followed behind her, watching her and a worker walk to a secluded spot to discuss a man nicknamed "The Giant," and then mention the Dockworkers' Union.

Then, he followed Hugh, who was wearing his coat inside out and pretending to be Vagrant, to the two-story yellow building of the Dockworkers' Union to Sun.

Time ticked by, and he saw seven or eight people come out of the small building together and head towards the coffee shop across the street. He saw the coffee shop door open, and a man took off his Gold-Rimmed Glasses to wipe the fog. When Hugh glanced at the man, his body trembled violently, and his eyes froze instantly.

He slowly let out a breath, silently revealing the other person's identity to himself.

"Lanevus."

After finding someone who resembled Lanevus, Hugh hurriedly left.

Lorry knew she was going to deliver a message to "Justice" Audrey, trying to further confirm her identity, but he didn't need to follow her.

He knew that this person was Lanevus, and he also knew that the current "Fool" Klein was not yet capable of taking revenge alone, and could only have the three ladies inform the Church of the Evernight Goddess to kill him by borrowing a knife. He even knew that although the Nighthawks had eliminated the "Aurora Order" members who were protecting Lanevus and the power of the "True Creator" within him, this fraudster became the final Winner, successfully escaping the fate of being replaced by the God, and escaped alone into the Sewer.

The story ends with:

Klein lay in ambush deep in the Sewer and carried out his revenge himself.

His goal is the time difference in between!

--

Sunset, Red Moon rises.

Time flew by as Lorry waited, and it was already 1 Dawn.

A huge Airship with a deep black paint job flew silently toward the two-story brick-red building that served as the Dockworkers' Union ' quarters.

As three figures in black trench coats silently appeared, Lorry had moved away from the battlefield beforehand and was waiting for his chance, stroked his White Bone Ring and muttered to himself, "It's begun."

He glanced back at the towering clock tower not far away, then looked away and turned his attention back to the small red building.

He continued to patiently wait for his chance to enter the arena.

Suddenly, all the Gas Streetlamp in that area went out, and a chilling aura, so intense it made one want to crawl on the ground, surged forth like a wave.

Lorry wisely refrained from putting on a brave front and tried his best to shrink his body.

One second, two seconds----

Suddenly, a deep darkness surged forth, seemingly engulfing everything.

The Gas Streetlamp were turned on one after another.

Lorry silently stood up and used "Teleportation" without hesitation.

Three seconds later, he appeared outside the red building and saw a figure leap out of the window, head straight for the nearest manhole cover, lift it, and jump in.

It's Lanevus!

Lorry paused for a moment, then immediately followed him inside.

Inside the labyrinthine Sewer.

Lanevus, who was fleeing in panic, suddenly stopped and hissed, "Who?!"

I see you!

Lorry, who had used "Invisibility" and "Psychological Invisibility," stood calmly two meters away from Lanevus, as if he hadn't heard a word.

In this state, Lanevus would have no chance of discovering himself.

--

He was quite certain of this.

Having lost the aura of a "True Creator," Lanevus is merely a Sequence 8 "Swindler," on the same level as himself.

Moreover, he does not possess a powerful Mystical Item like the "Curse of Knowledge".

If I had believed him and been successfully "scammed," he would probably have immediately received feedback and actually discovered my existence.

Even at a time like this, he still has the energy to scheme against potential enemies—it seems deception has almost become second nature to him; truly a genius Swindler!

So here's the question: If a "Swindler" scams another "Swindler," will the Potion's digestion progress be faster? After all, this kind of scam is relatively more difficult.

In an instant, countless thoughts flashed through Lorry's mind.

At the next corner, he threw the stone in his hand without hesitation.

"Clang!"

The stone lightly struck the metal pipe, producing a crisp, resonant sound, before falling to the ground with a "thud."

Lanevus immediately felt as if he were facing a formidable enemy, and darted to the side with lightning speed, while simultaneously turning his head quickly towards the direction from which the sound came.

There was no one there.

"Not good!"

A thought flashed through his mind, and he hurriedly looked behind him.

A thin, cyan Wind Blade was flying towards his head.

At the same time, he caught a glimpse of the handsome man in the darkness out of the corner of his eye. The man's lips curled slightly, and his dark eyes held a hint of mockery.

For some reason, seeing that look in his eyes, Lanevus felt a surge of disgust, and wished he could rush over and snap the other person's neck.

His upper body jerked backward, almost bending at a ninety-degree angle, narrowly avoiding the Wind Blade, then revealed a fierce look. "By the way, I hate your eyes."

"In a moment, I'll gouge both your eyes out!"

Having said that, Lanevus raised his right hand, bent his index and middle fingers in the air, and then turned and ran away without saying another word.

"Interesting—you think I don't know your current situation?"

"With MI9 and the Church of the Evernight Goddess potentially closing in at any moment, how could you possibly risk your life against me and waste time here?"

Lorry chuckled, letting Lanevus run deeper into the area without chasing after him. Instead, he stood still and slowly finished speaking.

Then, he stroked the White Bone Ring, and the corners of his mouth slowly turned upwards.

"Provocation"!
