"Book of Dimensions"
"We've collaborated on many occasions, including orchestrating coincidences to bankrupt disobedient businessmen, framing his successor Parliamentarian Omit, using ' The Earl’s Revenge ' to influence Baron Percival, secretly supporting Gang, sowing discord between the New Party and the Conservative Party, bribing high-ranking military officials..."
"But we were very careful and never used letters or other forms of communication. We always communicated face-to-face and left no evidence."
"Unless we can interrogate Begat himself."
Lorry's blood pressure spiked, and he regretted letting the guy die so easily.
He should hire a "Apothecary" at a high price, torture the other person to the point of near death every day, then cure them, and wait a year or two before killing them.
He exhaled forcefully and asked again:
What is Begat's strength?
Altair's Spirit Body still answers all questions:
He is Sequence 5 "Wraith" who wields an extremely powerful Sealed Artifact and has escaped from Demigod multiple times in the Southern Continent.
"But I've never seen him use it; I speculate it might be for auxiliary purposes."
Lorry glanced at the White Bone Ring on his hand and nodded almost imperceptibly.
They discussed Parliamentarian Begat's strength last night.
The Lieutenant Colonel who wielded the "Curse of Knowledge" was already at the top level of Sequence 5, yet he didn't even have a chance to escape using "Teleportation".
There are only two reasons:
First, his abilities were precisely countered.
Second, Parliamentarian Begat is more powerful.
However, considering the results of the "Spirit Channeling" session, perhaps both reasons are involved.
At this point, Altair's Spirit Body had become somewhat ethereal.
Lorry quickly took the time to carefully examine the Corpse and found that the only valuable items were the wallet and the Dark Gold book.
The former contained over two hundred pounds in Cash, which he accepted without hesitation, and then began inquiring about the Dark Gold book.
Altair's Spirit Body paused briefly before reluctantly speaking:
Its name is "The Book of Dimensions," a gift from a great Supreme Being.
Originally, its strength was equivalent to Sequence 5, possessing the ability to "Writing Fantasy into Reality," which is equivalent to an enhancement of "Literature Lover."
The specific method is:
"Using one's own blood as ink, by constantly writing down the preconditions, one can gradually drive the specific development of things and achieve the final outcome."
"The more people involved and the stronger their influence, the harder it is to push things forward."
"Conversely, the easier it is to promote."
"In theory, it can make Beyonder at the Demigod level unknowingly accept a predetermined ending by using a large number of necessary prerequisites."
"But it is very difficult to implement in practice."
"I have tried to arrange an ending for you several times, but it has always ended in failure."
"After the last sacrifice, the great Supreme Being once again bestowed its grace, elevating its strength to the level of Demigod."
There are three changes compared to before:
First, the ability to "Writing Fantasy into Reality" has been elevated to the level of Demigod.
Specifically, this means that the preconditions can be somewhat ambiguous, making it easier for the predetermined outcome to become a reality.
"For example, if you want someone to have diarrhea, the previous prerequisite was 'eating unclean food,' but now you can simply write 'due to some reason.' However, the fewer vague conditions, the better, otherwise the outcome may develop in an unpredictable direction."
"Moreover, not all conditions can be replaced by fuzzy conditions."
"Secondly, it adds the ability to Bringing Fantasy Characters into Reality."
"The specific method is that for each page torn off, a fantasy character can be created on the spot, and the strongest character cannot exceed the original character."
When "portraying" a character's abilities, one cannot fabricate them; they must conform to the principles of Mysticism, and the writer must possess relevant knowledge.
"Torn pages can be quickly restored by replenishing Spirituality, or they can be left unattended and allowed to heal slowly."
Third, it adds the ability to "Free Travel Between Other Dimensions".
"When in other Dimension, one can evade almost all prophecies and divinations, and choose for oneself whether to let others see or hear oneself."
Lorry's eyes flickered slightly, and he immediately understood why the Three Great Churches and MI9 had concluded that "Altair is not in Backlund."
A single wrong decision... He couldn't help but sigh inwardly.
If it weren't for this Error intelligence, I and the Lieutenant Colonel would definitely have been more vigilant, and perhaps we could have avoided today's situation.
With a bitter look, Lorry glanced at the dissipating Spirit Body of Altair, took a deep breath, and asked his final question:
"Do you have anything to add regarding Parliamentarian Begat?"
Altair's Spirit Body frowned slightly, a thoughtful expression on its face.
A moment later, it spoke in a faint voice:
"When we last met, Begat asked me if I needed help."
He said that the Percival Family's die-hard loyalists had secretly returned to Backlund, attempting to avenge their master, and could be put to good use again.
"But my purpose is not to kill you, but to prepare to follow the instructions of the Great Supreme Being and offer you as a sacrifice to Him."
"I'm confident I can accomplish this, so..."
Its voice grew increasingly ethereal, and by the time it uttered its last sentence, Lorry had to hold his breath to listen, and the second half of the sentence abruptly ended.
Lorry's gaze remained calm as he watched Altair's Spirit Body silently shatter.
He packed up the "Book of Dimensions" and looked at the White Bone Ring:
Is his blood useful to you?
"If I absorb it, will it have any negative effects on me?"
The aged voice replied without hesitation:
"Won't.
"I'm reverse-analyzing their blood, not reading their memories."
After saying that, it added with a troubled expression, "Never mind, it'll take too long. I think you'd better leave as soon as possible."
Lorry shook his head and smiled, saying nothing more.
He demonstrated through his actions how to choose the path that is "Curse of Knowledge."
Click!
Lorry swiftly snapped Altair's neck, then used the White Bone Ring to simulate Flames to stop the bleeding and clean up the marks on the ground.
And, they burned off Altair's blond hair.
He summoned the "Messenger" lady, retrieved his "False Face," put it on, and then chanted in Hermes: "False Face!"
The water-like substance slowly writhed, perfectly conforming to Lorry's face.
He removed the "False Face" and covered Altair's severely deformed face, watching as the other man transformed into his own likeness, a slight upward curve to the corners of his mouth:
"You want me dead? Then I'll grant your wish."
After saying that, Lorry began to bleed himself, performing the "Flesh and Blood Substitute" Ritual Magic he had just learned, in conjunction with Altair's head.
Its function is to use its own blood to establish a Mysticism connection between itself and a specific object, thus creating a certain degree of misleading information.
This way, they could fool MI9.
Half an hour later, the "False Face" completely merged with Altair's head.
Lorry summoned dozens of Wind Blade to destroy the Altar, then, carrying Altair's corpse in one hand and Albert by the other, he quickly disappeared from the scene.
After resting briefly at the Face Mask Factory, he used "Teleportation" again.
This time, Lorry's destination is the North Borough.
Saint Samuel Cathedral.
