North Borough, Phelps Street.

Behind a house not far away, Lorry's figure came into view.

He quickly came to the main road, looked around, and walked firmly toward the pure black Church, which had a symmetrical bell tower on each side.

It is the Saint Samuel Cathedral.

--The headquarters of the Church of the Evernight Goddess in the Backlund Diocese, and also the backdrop for a photo of Old Perry with his son, the Lieutenant Colonel, and the old dean.

Shortly after, Lorry entered the building with mixed feelings.

Today is Monday.

There weren't many Believer praying in the afternoon.

He casually found a corner to sit down and gently closed his eyes.

This was an agreement between Lorry and the "Messenger" lady.

Each time you ask for her help, you need to pray once, and the delay cannot exceed three days. The contractor must pay the price himself.

The Incantation to summon the "Messenger" lady must never be given away lightly, or I fear I'll end up living in the Goddess's Church one day...

Before the formal prayer began, Lorry silently muttered something to himself.

He then gathered his thoughts and cleared his mind.

Time slips away unnoticed.

Lorry suddenly felt someone sit down next to him.

Strange, there are clearly many empty seats... This thought flashed through his mind but he didn't dwell on it. He continued to pray for the Goddess's protection for the "Messenger" lady, Old Perry, the Lieutenant Colonel, Miles, and many more innocent victims of the Evernight Believer, hoping they could enter Her Kingdom to rest in peace.

Lorry was completely unaware that the surroundings had become quiet.

About an hour later, he slowly opened his eyes and was shocked to find that the person beside him was Arianna. He hurriedly sketched Crimson Moon on his chest.

"Ms. Arianna."

Arianna nodded slightly and reverently tapped her chest four times clockwise.

"May the Goddess protect you." After saying that, she looked at Lorry intently. "Did you come to the Church for something?"

Lorry looked around and realized that this was already a "Concealment" world. He then belatedly realized why it had suddenly become quiet.

He quickly said:

"I killed Altair, the one Believer escaped the Evil God. During a ' Spirit Channeling,' I accidentally discovered their secret plot."

Arianna looked at him for two seconds:

"I heard from Anthony that Altair has already left Backlund."

Lorry shook his head and explained:

That's because we were misled.

As he spoke, he took out the "Book of Dimensions" from his robes and continued:

"Altair received a blessing during the last ritual; this Sealed Artifact, at the Demigod level, allows him to enter other Dimension spaces."

"In this state, one can restrain most divination and prophecy."

Arianna looked calmly at Lorry and nodded slightly.

Did this mean he believed my story and wanted me to continue? He guessed so, and quickly presented the crimes confessed by Altair's Spirit Body one by one.

After finishing speaking, Lorry coughed lightly and began to slip in his own agenda:

"In addition, Altair also confessed that Parliamentarian Begat controlled several Human Trafficker whose targets were Beyonder had passed through the ' Arbiter ' Pathway."

"They're from MI9! The person in charge is Qonas Kilgor."

"My superior, Colonel Vera, who belonged to MI9, was a devout Believer of the Goddess and was murdered for refusing to associate with these people."

"Not only that, they also wanted to exterminate all of them, purging Colonel Vera's former subordinates and Informant, and accusing them of believing in Evil God."

"Furthermore, Altair said that Parliamentarian Begat and the Demoness Sect are also collaborating, and it seems they want to create a Catastrophe in Backlund before the New Year that is no less severe than the one he started—cough, based on the bits and pieces he knows, he guesses that this Catastrophe may be related to poisoning."

"By the way, he also said that he wanted to know why MI9 was buying people, so he prayed to a cult of Evil God and received a revelation:"

"Black Emperor!"

This was the result of Lorry's careful consideration.

He knew that it would be difficult for him to complete his revenge in a short period of time on his own.

Of the four people directly involved in the death of the Major General Lieutenant Colonel —Altair, Begat, Lieutenant General Bendit, and Qonas —Altair was the weakest.

Even so, he almost risked his life to carry out his revenge.

Not to mention the remaining three.

Therefore, Lorry decided to shift the blame to the already dead Altair, pushing all the bad things onto Parliamentarian Begat.

Anyway, the incident is true; the reason for the investigation is not important.

The Rose School, the Demoness Sect, MI9, and the "Black Emperor"! Arianna remained silent for more than ten seconds, trying to process her emotions.

She looked at Lorry with a gaze that was no longer as calm as before.

Lorry looked completely at ease.

A few seconds later, Arianna asked softly:

"You should know that with your current strength, getting involved in these things is tantamount to suicide. Why don't you forget about them and go as far away as possible?"

Lorry answered honestly:

My superior chose to take risks in order to defend his ideals and beliefs.

"I don't want him to be slandered as Believer of Evil God even after his death. I want to restore his reputation and avenge him, but I can't do it myself."

Arianna nodded slightly. "Is there anything else?"

"Not yet," Lorry said, shaking his head. He then consciously tapped his chest four times clockwise, drawing Crimson Moon. "Praise the Goddess."

"Praise be to the Goddess!" Arianna responded devoutly.

She stood up, and her figure disappeared.

Lorry found himself back in the Real World, in an empty prayer hall with a dozen or so Believer scattered about, their hushed prayers echoing from time to time.

Inside the residence of Fors and Hugh in the Cherwood Borough.

Hugh was leaning back on the Single Sofa, engrossed in reading Fors ' new book manuscript, when he suddenly heard the door open and saw his friend come out of the room.

She pouted, clearly annoyed.

Does sleeping make you feel that happy?

Thanks to the two generous commissions from Lorry recently, plus the savings from other missions, Hugh has completely paid off his debts.

So I took a break and haven't gone out much lately.

Of course, her explanation to Fors was that she needed to think carefully about how to play the role of a "Sheriff" to avoid being ridiculed by him.

"... No, it's the beautiful dream that makes me happy." Hearing Hugh's complaint, Fors paused for a moment, then quickly made up an excuse.

The real reason is that she learned from "The Sun" during the Tarot Club that the other party has been reinstated to the Patrol Team.

He solemnly promised that he would Sacrifice the Beyonder Characteristic to Mr. "Fool" in three to five days.

This means that having obtained the "Deep Sea Marlin Blood," he will soon be able to Advancement Sequence 8, and Lorry will also be able to obtain the material he has been waiting for!

Thinking of this, a smile involuntarily returned to Fors's lips.

She glanced up at the wall clock and urged:

"Shut up, stop looking."

"We should go out and buy groceries, as we agreed beforehand."

"Uh..." Hugh, who was watching a crucial scene, scratched his head in exasperation.

"It's like this Monday. I've never seen you so diligent before..." she muttered to herself, reluctantly standing up.
