"Harvest Garland"
Fors gave her friend a disgruntled look and reluctantly took off the flower wreath.
"Well, actually it looks pretty good, it just doesn't match your pajamas..." Hugh chuckled and casually asked, "What brings you to make up this?"
As she spoke, she placed the food on the Tea Table and sat down on the Single Sofa.
"Making flower wreaths? I don't have that kind of free time..." Fors muttered as she washed her hands and came back, grabbing Desi Pie, taking a bite, and slowly swallowing it.
"This is Mystical Item he ordered; I just received it this afternoon."
Mystical Item? Hugh was slightly taken aback, his eyes filled with uncontrollable envy.
Since entering the extraordinary world, she has only briefly possessed one Mystical Item, which was also sold by that guy—a strangely shaped "Bird's Beak."
Because it was so conspicuous, I eventually had to sell it at a loss.
Even though he initially opposed the two of them, Hugh now has to sincerely admit, "That guy really cares about you."
"Hmph, now you don't think he's a fraud?" Fors teased, then explained, "But this thing isn't for me."
She took a sip of her Sweet Iced Tea and said:
"It's for the land and Manor I bought in the Northwestern Suburbs some time ago." "Huh?" Hugh looked puzzled.
Fors smiled and said:
"This Mystical Item is called the ' Harvest Garland,' and it has three main abilities."
"First, when worn, it can catalyze the accelerated growth or reproduction of seeds and plants within a certain range, resulting in a bountiful harvest."
"Second, to command a certain range of plants and insects to provide appropriate assistance, within the limits of their own species."
As she spoke, she put on the "Harvest Garland" and gestured for her friend to look towards the Balcony.
A vine that had been clinging to the outside of the wall had somehow crept in, standing upright like a person, swaying slightly as if to greet someone.
Then, it slowly crawled into the Living Room, picked up the kettle, placed it on the Tea Table, tilted it slightly, and began pouring water into cups.
Having done all this, it swam away.
"..." Xiu stared in disbelief, then said, "So your purpose in expending your Spirituality wasn't to demonstrate to me at all, you were just too lazy to get out of bed, right?"
Fors gave a confident "hmm," then, under her friend's disdainful gaze, she smiled sheepishly before continuing:
"Third, the wearer can use Ritual Magic to pray for rain, clear skies, or wind, but success is not guaranteed. The area of influence is also limited, but it's sufficient for his territory."
Hugh felt a bit chilled by the Sweet Iced Tea, so he picked up the hot water that Tengman had poured for him and took a couple of sips. Suddenly, he realized that the food didn't seem so bad after all.
What about the negative impacts?
As she spoke, she picked up the Desi Pie in front of her, and just as she was about to take a bite, she frowned slightly and noticed a piece of dirt on it that looked like it had been brought in by a vine.
Just as I was about to tear this piece off and throw it in the trash, I suddenly heard my friend shout:
"Don't throw it away!"
Hugh let out a soft "uh," then noticed his friend's eyes narrowed as he stared intently at him. He suddenly realized, "This is its negative effect?"
Fors nodded, both amused and annoyed, and removed the "Harvest Garland":
"When wearing it, I have mild obsessive-compulsive disorder and cannot accept the act of wasting food, whether it is myself or others."
"However, once you take it off, it won't have any effect even if you carry it with you."
"Sounds pretty good..." Hugh muttered, tearing off the sour piece of pie and throwing it in the trash can before continuing to devour it.
During their casual conversation, after finishing their dinner, the two good friends were reclining on the Sofa Cushion to digest when Fors suddenly said, "Oh, by the way, call me when you go to Williams Street tomorrow."
"Why are you getting involved in this?" Hugh looked at him, puzzled. "Weren't you supposed to go to the Divination Club to digest your Potion after your midday nap and lunch?"
At that moment, she caught sight of the crystal ball next to her friend and frowned slightly.
Fors did not deny it, but stated directly:
"When I was practicing divination just now, I foresaw that your and Albert's fate would be somewhat turbulent tomorrow, and I was worried that you might encounter danger."
"Then you shouldn't have gone with us at all." Hugh objected without hesitation.
Albert and I don't want to have to be distracted protecting you.
"You can lend me the Shadow Ring."
"What do you mean you have to be distracted protecting me?" Fors said irritably.
Hugh said in a serious tone:
It means exactly what it says.
"Although you are already Sequence 7, you basically have no offensive means except for a few Trick, and your practical combat experience is severely lacking. The latter is something that no amount of Mystical Item can make up for."
"It's not as exaggerated as you make it out to be..." Fors retorted, unconvinced.
"Don't forget, I survived a terrible Mysticism Catastrophe, and I was one of the two people who made it out of the end."
"Anyway, it's decided then and there. With that Bracelet, even if we encounter an insurmountable danger, I can lead you to safety."
"How dare you bring that up... If it weren't for that guy..." Hugh muttered under his breath, noticing his friend's sudden sharp gaze, he coughed awkwardly and fell silent.
At 10:30 p. m., the "Golden Dream" was on board.
Inside the Third Mate's room, the "Messenger" appeared silently, handed the letter to Lorry, who had just returned from the captain's cabin, and then stood quietly.
She is waiting for a reply.
Glancing at this scene out of the corner of his eye, Lorry couldn't help but feel a moment of embarrassment, but his mind was quickly drawn to the contents of Fors' letter:
She foresaw that Hugh and Albert's fate would be turbulent, worried that they might encounter danger, and planned to go together tomorrow?
After reading the letter, he casually stole a ball of Flames and lit it. Gazing out the dark window, he began to recall the events leading up to the Williams Street incident. (Go to Bing search for the latest chapter!)
The evil spirit "Red Angel" attempted to escape, ostensibly seeking help from Klein and Sharron, but in reality, it had other plans and Concealment leaked information.
This is basically consistent with the historical development of the Original Novel, except that the time is slightly different, perhaps due to the chain reaction caused by the butterfly effect.
Based on Gallows Sauron's memories, Lorry knew that the direct descendants of the Sauron Family had not yet arrived in Backlund, and the "Red Angel" evil spirit was still trapped. That's why he suggested that Hugh spend more time here. As long as he could delay the situation and maintain the stability of the area, the Potion would be absorbed in no time.
Connecting the clues, Lorry let out a soft breath and picked up paper and pen.
Actually, my appearance didn't have much impact on this matter; they should be safe... The twists and turns in their fate are probably due to the increased number of Beyonder active on this street, and the fact that it's a "Hunter's " Pathway for those skilled in observation... However, just in case, it's best to make some preparations...
With that thought in mind, he took a sip of ink and began to reply.
