As soon as he finished speaking, Lorry's lips twitched uncontrollably a few times.

What is all this nonsense...? We were just doing research, weren't we? No, not just the two of us, there's also a Sealed Artifact in a strange state?

Didn't "Vice Admiral Iceberg" say he used to give individual tutoring to his crew members...? How did things get twisted like this?

He won't let me off the hook... I'd better not find out who started the rumors... Amidst his racing thoughts, a fierce glint flashed in his eyes.

Upon noticing this scene, Danitz felt a chill run down his spine, and his calves began to tremble slightly, as if he were facing a monster.

"This guy wouldn't go so far as to kill me to cover it up, would he?" he thought tremblingly.

Lorry barely managed to compose himself and asked in a deep voice:

Who are you referring to?

"Also, how did the rumors spread?"

Danitz paused for a few seconds. "A rumor?"

"Now it's my turn to ask you," Lorry said expressionlessly. As he spoke, words like "Whip of Affliction," "Hypnosis," and "Dream Infiltration" flashed through his mind, intending to choose one if the other party still didn't cooperate.

Danitz had a strange, inexplicable feeling that he was facing that Lunatic Gehrman again. A chill ran down his spine, and he answered nervously:

"Me, Tinplate, Bucket, Orpheus and the others."

"As for the rumors, cough cough, as for how this matter got out..." He hesitated for a few seconds, then forced himself to admit:

"You would stay in the captain's cabin for hours at a time... The captain was often so tired that he didn't even have the strength to go downstairs for meals... And once you walked in a very strange way..."

As Lorry listened, he felt an urge to punch Danitz to death. So, this was the guy who started the rumor!

With such a vivid imagination, why be Pirate? Wouldn't writing fantasy novels be more lucrative? He was speechless and couldn't help but complain to himself.

Is creating Sequence 5 level Charm an easy task?

It's an enormous drain on physical strength, energy, and Spirituality. Isn't it normal to feel exhausted after studying for three or four hours straight?

And your walking posture is weird too. How about I subject you to a "Spirit Ascension" technique?

Noticing his companion's increasingly intense gaze, Danitz's unease grew stronger, feeling as if the Beyonder Characteristic within him might be released at any moment.

He snapped out of his daze, stopped scaring himself, chuckled twice, and weakly asked, "What exactly happened?"

"You still have the nerve to ask? You don't know anything and you're just spouting nonsense, talking rubbish to others!" Hearing this, Lorry glared at the clumsy Hunter with annoyance.

He looked away and began to seriously consider how to solve the problem.

These guys, especially this one in front of me, are just outrageous beyond words... I really want to give them a good electrotherapy treatment.

Although this matter doesn't affect me much, I can't ignore it, as it might damage Edwina's reputation; after all, she's a lady.

Thinking of this, Lorry said in a deep voice:

"The captain and I were conducting research on a ' Teleportation ' Charm. She was a key member, so she was quite exhausted during that time."

"As for the day you encountered the ' Death Announcer,' the strange way I walked was due to a side effect of some Ritual Magic, and had nothing to do with anything else."

As soon as he finished speaking, Danitz paused for two seconds, then his face lit up with surprise:

"Real?!"

Lorry glared at him, his gaze unfriendly, and said:

"In short, you'll have to deal with the trouble you've caused yourself. If I find out this rumor slandering the captain is still spreading, don't blame me for using ' Hypnosis ' to alter your memories one by one."

As he spoke, a smile appeared on his lips, and he said in a gentle voice:

"In that case, it's hard to say whether you'll continue to like women or start to be interested in the same sex after you wake up."

"Hypnosis? Accidents are inevitable."

Danitz's eyes widened in shock, and his hair stood on end. He had never imagined that such a vicious threat existed in the world.

He felt that Jodson was even more terrifying than Gehrman!

A chill ran down his spine. Danitz resisted the urge to reach out and protect his backside, nodding like a chick pecking at rice, and readily agreed.

Uh... you, don't worry!

I will definitely explain everything clearly! I promise this matter will end here!

"Is it... okay?"

Huff... Lorry let out a deep breath and nodded slightly.

"It depends on your performance. Also, I'm leaving Norga tomorrow. Be careful. Try to gather information if you can, otherwise just stay at the Inn and wait for me to return."

As Norga Danitz left, a thought struck him, "You've succeeded in your research?"

Lorry hummed in agreement, without denying it.

"I guess so, but the actual production cost is extremely high."

"If you perform exceptionally well after this expedition, the captain and I might consider giving you some semi-finished products at a discounted price."

He casually made up a promise, then turned and headed upstairs.

It turned out to be a misunderstanding. I was just overthinking things... Danitz looked at his companion's retreating figure with a mixture of surprise and delight, his face gradually filled with excitement.

He clenched his fists twice and happily drank the rest of his Brandy.

Monday, 9 a. m. In an empty Cemetery in Backlund, two figures quickly outlined themselves, exchanged a glance, and then silently walked in opposite directions.

"Factory District, Posner Face Mask Factory." Lorry boarded the carriage and instructed the driver, his gaze sweeping over the burly figure at the end of the street.

Snap!

With a crisp crack of the whip, he withdrew his gaze, drew the curtains, closed his eyes, and slowly regained his Spirituality in a semi- Meditation state. Time flew by.

The creaking sound of the wheels suddenly stopped.

As Lorry opened his eyes, he heard the coachman's reminder:

"Sir, we've arrived at the Posner Face Mask Factory."

Lorry grunted in agreement, paid the fare, stepped off the carriage, glanced around at the Factory's outline, and walked inside at a leisurely pace.

Meanwhile, in the North Borough, at 7 Pince Street.

Leonard Mitchell, who was taking a nap in his Bedroom, suddenly heard an old voice in his mind. "Kid, wake up, you have a guest."

As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze filled with deep confusion.

"Who is it... disturbing other people's rest so early in the morning..." Leonard grumbled irritably as he got out of bed and walked towards the Living Room.

He had just stepped out of the Bedroom when he heard the Doorbell ring.

Leonard opened the door and looked in disbelief at the tall, dark-skinned "Giant" who clearly didn't resemble Loen.

"Good morning, we don't seem to know each other?" "No, Mr. Leonard Mitchell, we've met before." Tego smiled and Lorry, adding, "Good morning."

After speaking, he nodded slightly again:

Good morning.
