A race against time
The Beyonder at Sequence 5 possess powerful Spirit Body, and the influence of the painting only lasts for a fleeting moment, but for the Worm of Time, that time is enough.
In the fleeting moment of Mumulik's daze, it had already completely completed its Parasitism!
"Weaken!"
Taking advantage of the fact that Gatchi's Spirit Body was weaker than his own and was still in a dazed state, Mumulik Solomon Lorry did not hesitate to use his ability.
At the same time, he quickly pulled a blood-red glove from his pocket, put it on his right hand, and expressionlessly broke off his left hand and threw it over.
Strangely, not a drop of blood flowed from the broken wrist; the granulation tissue, chilling to the bone, writhed wildly as a new left hand slowly grew.
Flesh Bomb!
"Bang!"
With a muffled Explosion, his thrown left hand transformed into a cloud of blood mist and bits of flesh, the resulting Storm quickly tearing Gatchi to pieces.
Immediately, Mumulik raised his hand and gently touched the black necklace around his neck, a faint light flashing past.
Suddenly, Gatchi bewildered spirit appeared in his field of vision.
The Words of the Dead! Slavery!
Gatchi's Spirit Body was only slightly startled before it was completely controlled by Mumulik, who gave the order to self -Spirit Body without hesitation.
"Buzz--"
The Spirit Body Explosion silently, and the invisible ripples, under his control, surged rapidly towards the door like a tide.
Upon hearing the commotion, the members of the Shadow of Order who rushed to investigate all clutched their heads, tears streaming from their eyes, their faces contorted in Affliction.
Caught off guard, their Spirit Body were severely impacted, leaving them in a daze for a short time, their Brain completely blank.
Taking advantage of this moment, Mumulik Solomon Lorry calmly walked towards the scattered Corpse of Gatchi and stretched out his right hand with his five fingers spread.
"Hungry!"
I'm so hungry!
I'm so hungry!
Mumulik's voice rang out in the room, but it didn't come from him; rather, it came from the blood-red glove on his right hand, which resembled a thin veil.
Beneath its outstretched fingers, the palm of its glove revealed miniature features identical to its own face, but many times smaller in proportion. The voice was emanating from its mouth!
This is a "Flesh Baptism," a Mystical Item!
One of the two Mystical Item possessed by Mumulik Solomon, corresponding to the "Rose Bishop" of the "Secrets Suppliant" Pathway, allows him to temporarily possess four powerful abilities when wearing the gloves: "Flesh Fusion," "Flesh Bomb," "Flesh Curse," and "Flesh Servant."
The downside is that after consuming flesh and blood, it needs to be fed enough flesh and blood, otherwise it cannot be removed, and it is extremely easy to lose control.
I'm so hungry!
Amidst the wailing of the "Flesh Baptism" glove, Mumulik Solomon Lorry bent down, letting it slowly approach the flesh and blood on the ground.
When the two shortened to a certain distance, the Mystical Item's eyes lit up:
"Food!"
It stopped howling and opened its mouth to a ferocious and exaggerated degree, and a powerful suction force appeared out of nowhere, sucking away its own food like a vortex.
With the ground spotless, "Flesh Baptism" softened his tone considerably, but still spoke with urgency, "I want to eat more."
Mumulik Solomon Lorry used the same trick again, quickly walking away to other places.
After two or three such repetitions, the "Flesh Baptism" let out a satisfied burp, its color no longer as pale as gauze, but a deep crimson. At the same time, he had a subtle feeling that with the minimum food satisfaction, he could now take off the glove.
However, he did not do that.
The intensity of the "Flesh Baptism and Blood" is related to the amount of flesh and blood fed to the user.
Feeding it a full meal at once not only enhances the power of Flesh Magic, but also serves as backup food, reducing the impact of negative effects.
Soon, the "Flesh Baptism" turned scarlet and thick as leather, and the indoor environment was also completely renewed. Only then did Mumulik take it off and put it in his pocket.
He slowly sat back down at the table, picked up his wine glass, and drank it all in one gulp.
In an instant, a blush returned to Mumulik's pale face, and he was no longer as bloodless as before, like a walking Corpse.
This is a negative effect of his other Mystical Item, the "Necromancer Necklace".
Wearing or using it for a long time will make the person increasingly resemble an immortal being, becoming afraid of sunlight and Purification, and needing to drink alcohol to alleviate the symptoms.
It has two abilities: "Resurrection" and "Words of the Dead".
The former allows him to awaken the Zombie and skeletons, who will then obey his commands in battle.
The latter allows him to easily detect nearby spirits without activating his Spirit Vision, and also allows him to bypass his physical body to directly communicate with, command, and even enslave Spirit Body. Gatchi's Spirit Body self-destruction just now was influenced by the "Words of the Dead."
He poured himself another glass of red wine and slowly savored it, Mumulik to himself with regret:
"Unfortunately, this body can no longer be used as a springboard to Parasitism his uncle Burns, otherwise the main body would have a clone with the combat power of Demigod."
"The Shadow of Order actually possesses a Level 0 Sealed Artifact, which can protect the contractor from the rules, rendering them immune to mind control, Parasitism, and other such methods."
Amidst a jumble of thoughts, the door was violently destroyed.
Several members of the Shadow of Order stood outside, peering inside, their faces ashen, clearly indicating that their Spirit Body had suffered considerable damage in the Explosion.
The leader nodded slightly and asked with a puzzled look, "Sir, just now...?"
"Gatchi was controlled by the strange paintings and tried to attack me under the pretext of research, but he has now been eliminated," Mumulik said calmly.
Upon hearing this, several members of the Shadow of Order glanced at the landscape painting on the table, exchanged glances for a moment, and remained silent.
The same man asked cautiously, "Sir, should we send a telegram to headquarters? After all, Lord Gatchi is your deputy."
Mumulik frankly stated:
"Not for now. I'll make a decision after my uncle and I have finished studying the painting."
As he spoke, he looked around at everyone, took out a tightly clenched, semi-transparent, jet-black fist from his pocket, and chuckled, "This is what Gatchi left behind after his death."
"I remember three of you have Advancement ' Baron of Corruption ' for quite some time now, haven't you?"
"Whoever makes the greatest contribution to this mission, it belongs to them."
--This is the Beyonder Characteristic of the "Mentor of Disorder" extracted by Gatchi, who used the Spirit Body enslaved by Mumulik to accelerate its extraction.
After he finished speaking, the group looked at each other again.
However, unlike before, three of them looked at each other with expressions of deep vigilance and defensiveness, no longer suggesting discussion or inquiry.
The others, however, displayed undisguised envy.
Mumulik raised an eyebrow. "Is there anything else?"
"No!" the three "Baron of Corruption" said in unison, and their subordinates behind them naturally did not refute it, echoing their sentiments.
Mumulik Solomon Lorry chuckled inwardly, then waved his hand impatiently, saying, "Since there's nothing else, what are we doing here?"
"Take a quick rest and prepare to pick up people at the Port tomorrow night." "Yes, sir." The members of the Shadow of Order obeyed and left.
As Lorry watched their figures gradually disappear, he silently chuckled, put away the Beyonder Characteristic "Mentor of Disorder" ability, picked up his wine glass, and slowly walked towards another room.
Norgar Island, an unnamed Inn.
Gatchi doesn't have a single Mystical Item, while Mumulik has two, and their abilities are quite good, perfectly complementing his own...
Of course, he could easily obtain Mystical Item with ordinary power, but he probably wouldn't even consider them, which is why the current situation has arisen...
But no matter what, the treatment of core members is different... While lamenting the poverty of that Sequence 5 Beyonder, Lorry knocked on the door of "Vice Admiral Iceberg".
The place was completely silent, as if no one was there.
Could it be that she wasn't in her room, but had gone out for a walk or downstairs for dinner? After waiting for two minutes, Lorry couldn't help but wonder.
However, just as he was about to leave, the door suddenly opened from the inside, and "Vice Admiral Iceberg" Edwina stood inside, wearing beige trousers and a women's shirt.
Her hair was still wet and hadn't been completely dried.
A faint fruity scent filled the air. Noticing Lorry glancing at her hair, Edwina said calmly, "I just finished the experiment and washed up a bit."
"Did you need something from me?"
Lorry hummed in agreement and whispered, "I've come up with a way to find that Ghost Ship relatively quickly."
Edwina raised her gaze, her clear, pale blue eyes shimmering slightly, and she turned to the side, reaching out her hand to say, "Come in and let's talk."
Lorry hesitated for a moment, then stepped inside.
Edwina closed the door, wrapped her hair in a dry towel, and walked towards the bed, asking, "What's the plan?"
Lorry didn't answer but asked a question in return:
Before we begin our discussion, I'd like to ask you a question.
"Okay," Edwina replied simply.
She felt that the sentence sounded familiar.
Lorry smiled and said:
"Madam, you should know about the Law of Beyonder Characteristic Convergence, right?" In the Original Novel, "Vice Admiral Iceberg" only showed Klein the actual model of this law, but he guessed that the other party should know it.
Because of certain restrictions imposed by the church, it cannot be directly told to outsiders.
Edwina's eyes flickered briefly, then quickly disappeared before she frowned slightly and said, "But it's not easy to do."
"First of all, we don't know which Paths of the Divine the Ghost Ship belongs to."
Secondly, there may not be a corresponding thing.
Lorry shook his head noncommittally and chuckled softly:
It belongs to the "Black Emperor" Pathway.
"In addition, I have found an item with a high enough rank to aggregate it."
"What we need to do next is race against time to find and take control of that Ghost Ship before our competitors in the shadows can react."
After she finished speaking, Edwina opened her mouth slightly, then fell silent for a moment.
Then, she nodded slightly, took a conch-shaped object from her shirt pocket, put it to her lips, and her voice quickly echoed throughout the second floor:
"Everyone assemble, prepare to return to the ship."
Half an hour later.
The figures of the disembarking Pirate were gradually sketched in the captain's cabin of the "Golden Dream," heading to their respective posts under the command of "Vice Admiral Iceberg."
As night fell, the golden sailboat slowly started moving, cleaving the sea like a sharp sword.
Meanwhile, in the captain's cabin, under Edwina's watchful eye, Lorry reached into his pocket with his right hand and pulled out the "Black Emperor" card from another Dimension.
