Their friendship developed through exchanging complementary insights: Ai Chen specialized in Light Purification and Time Deceleration, while Li Xin understood Light Enhancement and Time Acceleration. Their first dedicated exchange lasted a full day and night 64.

Courtship and the Meng Luo Sky Wing

Ai Chen’s partially awakened Meng Luo Sky Wing attracted suitors interested in its ability to share law comprehension. Kai Lan pursued her through his family’s influence, despite her obvious dislike of him. Other interested parties threatened Li Xin because of his closeness to her 84 85 89.

After more than three years of friendship, Li Xin confessed his feelings and offered Bright-Eyed Heavenly Light as a courtship gift. Ai Chen reciprocated his feelings but initially fled out of embarrassment. They became partners before the treasure arrived, and she openly acknowledged her choice to Silver Light Marquis 90 91 96 98.

The treasure completed her awakening, but its exposure brought further pressure from powerful Immortals, including Black Fiend King. Ai Chen sought refuge with Li Xin, who secured Venerable Shi Yuan’s intervention. The interested Marquis- and King-level experts subsequently apologized and withdrew 100 101.

Genius Battle and Early Training

During the Prison Cage World missions, Ai Chen subdued a Green-Scaled Demon Beast and later killed Porter to rescue Iris Lei. She refused the Lei Family’s valuables and helped escort Iris and Wulafei to Woon City. After completing the missions, she and Li Xin received demonstrations of their Chaos Stele diagrams from the Heavenly Timing Palace Master 135 137 149.

Inheritance, Marriage, and Family

A deadly encounter in Demon Iceberg led Ai Chen to the Demon Ice Divine General’s Inheritance Hall. She immediately invited Li Xin to share the opportunity, though he had independently found the Demon Sound inheritance. She continued receiving her inheritance and later advanced to Domain Lord Ninth Stage to extend how much she could obtain 161 192.

Ai Chen and Li Xin held an Earth-style wedding, despite marriage not being a custom on her homeworld. They subsequently raised their three children on Earth for thirty years before returning to their respective posts. Ai Chen resumed her duties in the Yimu Universe Country 197 199.

Clones and Higher Cultivation

Ai Chen later entered the Outer Domain Battlefield independently of Li Xin, joining the Nick Squad while he joined the Lanshan Squad 219.

Heavenly Timing Venerable found a Zhu Yin Bird suitable for her to possess. Its clone talent let her preserve her Mengluo form while acquiring additional bodies with different strengths. Li Xin helped obtain clone materials, including a World Tree leaf. Her eventual Immortal breakthrough attracted several Universe Masters’ attention, and she became Lord Long Xing’s personal disciple 270 279 288.

As Light Sword Venerable, she fought on the Primal Stars and obtained the Human Race’s first Qi Mirror Stone. She later comprehended the Path of Time and Space and became Lord of Light Sword 373 374 435 436.

Universe Ocean Expeditions

After attaining Universe True God-level willpower, Ai Chen entered the Universe Ocean to gain experience while her World Tree Clone researched the divine power path. More than two thousand years of searching yielded no Supreme Treasures before she discovered a nine-story Supreme Supreme Treasure palace in Aurora Land 473 475.

Juehua True God was already claiming the palace and attempted to capture her as leverage against Li Xin. Ai Chen resisted with her holy sword and armor until the confrontation escalated into a wider battle. After Li Xin’s victory, he credited her discovery with enabling a haul of ten Supreme Supreme Treasures, excluding the unclaimed tower 476 480.

Li Xin subsequently equipped her with a complete set of Supreme Supreme Treasures for protection. She later accompanied him to Chaos City to visit Bolan and Rong Jun, remaining as carefree with him as she had been in their early years 493 498 499.

She enjoys displaying her achievements, particularly her trial-tower ranking above Bolan, but follows that pride with further cultivation rather than assuming her lead is secure 63 64 119.

She is affectionate and demonstrative with Li Xin, yet easily embarrassed by formal courtship or displays of intimacy in front of elders. She also wants to contribute to their partnership: she refuses a bank account containing Li Xin’s money after taking Xu Xin’s advice about independence, and is especially pleased when the Qi Mirror Stone finally lets her help him in return 90 101 109 373.
