Arrival in the Southwest

Ding Shengnan receives Qin Yan and Jiang Cheng when they arrive in the Southwest. Though she warmly embraces Qin Yan, she reacts coolly to Jiang Cheng and watches the couple with evident hostility and jealousy. Qin Yan introduces her as the eldest miss of the Southwest Ding Family and her close friend. 172
