Heath opened his eyes in a daze, then reached out and felt around until he found his phone. He turned it on and checked. Good grief, it was only four in the morning. The sky outside was still dark, but Heath had woken up anyway, because he felt as though someone had just smacked him in the face with a blanket.

It really hurt. Heath held his face, somewhat bewildered. That groggy feeling of having just woken up was not going to fade anytime soon.

"There's nobody here. Could it have been Zorua?" Heath yawned, then looked around in confusion. There was no one around. Charmeleon, Farfetch'd, and the others were all asleep, while Zorua lay quietly on the bed, sleeping like a complete fool. The sight made Heath want to laugh a little.

Besides, Zorua probably was not that strong, so it was pretty unlikely that Zorua had done it.

Heath rubbed his face, but the sensation of someone whipping him across the face with a blanket had felt so real that he wanted to check whether there were any new marks on his face. Still, overwhelming drowsiness made him abandon the idea. He fell back onto the bed, and before long, his breathing grew steady.

Heath slept reasonably well that night, apart from being struck awake by someone for some unknown reason at around four in the morning. Even when he got up that morning, he still had not figured it out. He did not dwell on it for long, though. Perhaps he had accidentally done it to himself while dreaming.

Heath was not just saying that. He had experienced something similar back in college. One of his roommates had been exhausted after running a thousand meters, so he had lain down on his bed and fallen asleep.
