"Thanks. My name's Heath, and I'm a chef. Would you like something to eat?" Although Heath suspected Kadabra was showing off, he still responded to its kindness with a cheerful smile.

"Hmm? A chef? Could you teach me how to make a dish?" Kadabra immediately took an interest, its wise eyes seeming to shine even brighter.

Heath nodded. He had nothing else to do anyway, and teaching a clever Pokémon like Kadabra to cook should be pretty interesting.

Heath took out his old phone and checked it. It was almost time to head home and rest, and he still had to prepare dinner for the Officer Jennys today.

"Come on, then. My food truck's just outside." Heath left the classroom with Kadabra, chatting and laughing along the way.

In the Pokémon world, people being friends with Pokémon was actually far from rare. It could even be called commonplace, so no one at the Driving School reacted unusually to Heath and Kadabra chatting and laughing together.

"This food truck of yours... looks great." Kadabra looked at Heath's food truck in surprise. It had never seen such a unique vehicle before.

"Of course. It was the grand prize from Silph Co. I only won it because I got lucky." Heath smiled, then opened the door and led Kadabra inside.

As soon as they entered the food truck, Zorua jumped off Heath's shoulder and lay down on her little stool. Then she raised her head to glance at Kadabra, stretched contentedly, and curled up on it.

"Don't you keep this Pokémon of yours in a Poké Ball?" Kadabra naturally noticed Zorua's movements too, though in its eyes, she was a Caterpie-a Caterpie with quite a personality.

"Yeah, she doesn't really like being inside a Poké Ball, so I haven't put her in one."
