Viridian City was a very large city with pretty much every kind of facility, from commercial districts to residential areas. Its layout was much like that of an ordinary city.
Perhaps because of his profession, though, the places Heath knew best were still the markets and food districts. He had to admit that the food in the Pokémon world really was quite interesting.
"Trainer, what's this food district you mentioned?" Zorua, who had been sulking and whispering to Farfetch'd just a moment ago, instantly perked up. Lying on top of Heath's head, she asked curiously.
"Over there, a block beside Mr. Giovanni's Gym. All the shops there sell food. It's pretty interesting." Heath pointed in a familiar direction. This time, he had parked near the Viridian City Gym.
That made getting to the food district easy enough, without too long a walk.
Charmander did not seem all that interested in the food district and was turning and shaking its head. Heath remembered that this was a method Mr. Fujiyama had taught it for relaxing its muscles. It could also do some stretches after a workout.
Farfetch'd obediently stayed beside Heath, looking at everything around it as it flew. It seemed very curious about everything human, and Heath noticed its expression grow even more excited when it looked at restaurants.
"Do you want to open a restaurant, Farfetch'd?" Heath looked at Farfetch'd and stroked its feathers with a smile.
"Far~" Farfetch'd nodded happily. Heath did not know whether to laugh or cry. He had never expected a Farfetch'd to want to open a restaurant. He really did not know what to say.
Heath thought that perhaps, once Farfetch'd's cooking skills improved, he could let it open a restaurant called Farfetch'd Restaurant, with Farfetch'd as the head chef. Thinking about it that
