Kuai Hongji entered the Dorm Supervisor's Office, killed the bully who claimed to be the Dorm Supervisor Rules, and found the office rules and the Dorm Supervisor Rules. After learning how to claim the Dorm Supervisor identity, he ordered the burned-handed man to hang the rules sign back up.

• Kuai Hongji entered the office and demanded the Dorm Supervisor Rules and the number of entries in their appendix.
• When the bully attacked him, Kuai Hongji caught his fist, threw him down, and burned him to ashes, leaving a chain behind.
• Kuai Hongji found the Dorm Supervisor's Office Rules and the Dorm Supervisor Rules on the sofa and read their instructions for surviving in the office and becoming the Dorm Supervisor.

Kuai Hongji became Dorm Supervisor-14-X0230506094, survived the Kerosene Lamp’s test, and began patrolling the fourteenth floor under the appendix rules. At 23:03, the lamp brightened near Room 1423, where he found an open window and a huge mass of black, sticky matter trying to escape.

• Kuai Hongji took the Dorm Supervisor ID Badge, wrapped the Order Chains around his waist, and proved he could withstand the Kerosene Lamp’s radiance when the Grinning Angel burst into flames and retreated.
• Kuai Hongji read the Dorm Supervisor Rules appendix, then left the office carrying the lamp as the others remained behind in the fading light.

• Kuai Hongji burned away the filthy creatures and Angel Sculpture with the Old Kerosene Lamp, then looked through the window at the inverted Art Building and met Night Watchman-03’s gaze.
• Night Watchman-03 recognized a thin figure’s outline over Kuai Hongji and excitedly declared that the great ones had returned.
• Kuai Hongji shut the window, ignored his hostile reflection in the mirror, and inspected every dormitory room on his floor before entering Dormitory Room 1414 at midnight.

Kuai Hongji left the dormitory and rode the elevator toward the Principal's Office, where he encountered a fellow Dorm Supervisor and four Grinning Angels. He destroyed the Angels and recharged her Old Kerosene Lamp, leaving her astonished by his abilities.

• Kuai Hongji spoke with Tian Bufan, who confirmed they had found the Principal's Office, then set out with the Old Kerosene Lamp.
• Kuai Hongji rode the elevator to the 39th floor, where Dorm Supervisor-39-X0230109023 boarded with three Experience Students and asked where he was going.

• Kuai Hongji left the three lost Experience Students and the Female Dorm Supervisor in the elevator, then entered the Art Building's Watchtower by a hidden route.

Kuai Hongji visited the Butcher in the Deep Well and obtained a piece of his spinal bone, then reached the Stargazing Platform and confronted the Fanatics about their origins. He revealed that they were the Corpse-Bone Collective, whose base lay in the Layer Rift beneath the Art Building, leaving the Veteran Art Students and Fanatics stunned.

• Kuai Hongji descended through the Stairwell into the Deep Well and spoke with the Butcher, who asked whether the time was nearly ripe for their plans.
• Kuai Hongji requested a section of the Butcher’s spinal bone, and the Butcher cursed him, threw him out, and struck him with the bone as he left.

After Lin Yi returned through Mao Feiyang, Kuai Hongji rushed Mao away as the Alien Angel’s main body attacked Black Moon Outpost.

• Kuai Hongji used the weakening Armillary Sphere to conceal the star-track coordinates while the High-Rank Alien Angel attacked him through the Starry Night layer and the Stargazing Platform mural.

Mao Feiyang received Bai Fangshuo’s identity, and after reuniting with Kuai Hongji and Tian Bufan, Lin Yi learned why their plan divided scarce resources among six groups and heard how Van Gogh created The Starry Night.

• Night Watchman-02 struck Sanctuary to drive the High-Rank Alien Angel away, then told Mu Daxian that Mao Feiyang’s potential exceeded his understanding of the Pathways.
• Kuai Hongji emerged from the Light Mist injured, gave Mao Feiyang Bai Fangshuo’s Student ID, and led him back through the passage.

He returned to the Cemetery after only a minute had passed and told Kuai Hongji and Mao Feiyang what he had seen, while Mao Feiyang reminded him that they were trying to change the future.

• Lin Yi witnessed rapid visions of the Art Building and Campus being destroyed, Boss appearing as the Supreme, and Wei Sang, Kuai Hongji, Mao Feiyang, Tian Bufan, and himself dying.
• A distorted, Faceless figure resembling Lin Yi emerged from a spacetime vortex and warned him that sacrifice was necessary, that he had already met someone, and that he should run when he arrived.
