Crusade Extermination Plan

Prefist, Orisus, and Nathos were the first to be summoned by the Witherer. On their way there, the three had already begun discussing what Nathanos had become, but seeing him in person still left them deeply shocked.

They wanted to congratulate Nathanos on obtaining a new body, but when they learned that the Witherer had only succeeded after narrowly escaping death time and again, none of them could bring themselves to speak.

Prefist entered the Map Room. Nathanos the Witherer was waiting for them alone. He stopped beside the large table in the middle of the room. Nathanos stood on the other side, his hands behind his back, staring expressionlessly at Alterac on the map.

There were other, more urgent markings on the map as well. For instance, the Crimson Crusade strongholds in Silverpine Forest, as well as the defenses outside Lordaeron. The Forsaken had been monitoring activity there at all times, but they had not yet made any aggressive moves suggesting they intended to seize the region. At least, not on the surface. From those markings, they understood why they had been summoned.

Prefist was curious how Nathanos remained so calm. If it had been him, seeing his body restored would certainly have filled him with joy. At the very least, he would have wanted to talk about it with people he knew. Yet Nathanos's stern expression showed not the slightest hint of happiness. It made the Death Knight feel that the Witherer had become ever more mysterious.

"How are the preparations for the attack on Lordaeron?" Nathanos asked.

"Sky-Coverer is ready," Orisus answered first. "My men have already been assigned to the various units, and we have ample ammunition supplies."

Nathanos fell silent for a moment. He appeared neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. Without comment, he looked at Prefist.
