Performance
Upon seeing the two figures in the light and shadow outside, the fake Eve was initially taken aback, then raised his right hand, pointed at Lumian, and loudly questioned:
"Who are you? Why are you impersonating me?"
While criticizing, he sped up his work, pulled himself out of the excavated tunnel, and jumped to the ground.
In the face of this situation, normally Lumian would have rushed in for close combat or drawn his Revolver to fire a few bullets at the enemy, giving him no chance to speak. But this time, for some reason, he had a strong urge to perform, to see what the other party could do, and then seize the opportunity to show off his abilities.
Without an opponent, there's no scene with an opponent!
Franca was similarly eager to respond to the fake on behalf of Lumian, but did not launch an attack immediately.
Behind the fake Eve was Charlie, dressed as Waiter. He had only crawled a short distance through the rubble when he saw the figure within the dual light of the Carbide Lamp and the Hurricane Lantern.
He was so startled by the scene of the two Charles confronting each other that he stopped in his tracks, feeling as if he were in a dream, unable to distinguish who was real and who was fake, who wanted to harm him and who was trying to help him.
The only thing he was certain of was that he was once again in danger!
The fake Eve glanced at Lumian, then said to Franca with a mixture of anxiety and anger, "Wake up! You've been fooled by an imposter!"
When did I ever wear clothes like that?
After Lumian reminded Charlie, he only removed his makeup but did not change his clothes. He still wore the strange mix of a simple formal suit and canvas trousers. In comparison, Fake Eve's white shirt, black vest, brown trousers, and unlacquered leather boots were closer to his usual style.
Franca couldn't help but start acting:
"Yeah?
"Then tell me what my code name is."
Fake Eve, both amused and annoyed, retorted, "' Red Boots ' Lady, have you even forgotten your own nickname?"
Franca couldn't help but laugh out loud.
She immediately took two steps back, blending into the shadows at the edge of the Carbide Lamp's light.
This dark Underground is perfect for "Witch" to fight!
Seeing this, the fake Eve felt a sense of foreboding and realized that his attempt to deceive was likely to fail. He could no longer continue the performance and immediately changed his strategy.
He dropped the Hurricane Lantern, slightly raised his head, looked at Lumian, and his expression became extremely cold.
He curled the corners of his lips into a smile and chuckled softly.
"I don't know whether to pity you or congratulate you for seeing through my disguise, but this is definitely not a good thing for you."
The fake Eve, carrying a Hurricane Lantern, suddenly gained momentum, instantly transforming into a terrifying Volcano about to erupt.
When Lumian faced him, it was as if he were facing the three-headed, six-armed, Evil Giant of Cordou Village. Except for not suffering any mental trauma or blow, his reaction was basically the same.
He lowered his head, trembling, not daring to look directly at the other person, but the desire to perform and his own stubbornness made him forcefully raise his head again, struggling to slowly shift his gaze toward the fake Eve's face.
At the same time, the darkness outside the light seemed to be covered with a layer of green light, and Vines and branches spread out from nowhere, taking over the cave ceiling and rock walls.
Franca, who had slipped into the shadows, was Intimidation by the fake Eve's aura and could no longer maintain the effect of her power, her body protruding less than two meters away from the fake Eve.
Charlie, still lying in the passageway, trembled even more, burying his face in the rubble and dirt, his mind blank.
Fake Eve glanced contemptuously at Lumian and Franca:
"You dare to track me when you know nothing about me?"
"Your only good fortune is that you're not bad-looking, so I can't bring myself to kill you outright."
These words filled Lumian and Franca's ears, filling them with fear, and they only wanted to turn and run.
This feeling led Lumian to a sudden realization:
Half-God!
That fake Eve is Half-God, possessing Divinity!
Lumian gritted his teeth, Courage, and reached into his pocket, hoping that Mr. K's fingers could hold him off for a while and help him and Franca escape from the Underground Trier.
So what if Half-God? It's not like I haven't seen Half-God before. I won't be so scared that I lose my Rationality, or so terrified that I give up the struggle!
Just as Lumian's right palm was about to touch Mr. K's fingers, and Franca was about to lose control and turn around to run away, a cracking sound came from the cave ceiling.
A fist-sized boulder, like the others before it, fell straight down, heading straight for the fake Eve who was arrogantly scrutinizing Lumian and Franca's reactions.
Fake Eve couldn't dodge in time, only avoiding his head, but was hit hard on the left shoulder by the falling rocks, cracking the bone and causing the flesh to cave in.
He let out a short, painful scream and was nearly knocked to the ground.
With this Change, the terrifying aura and Divinity feeling vanished instantly, leaving only a few green Vines and brown Green Trees as evidence of what had just happened.
Lumian immediately snapped out of his Intimidation state and, half driven by a desire to perform and half acting spontaneously, used "Provocation."
He threw away the Carbide Lamp, clutched his stomach, and laughed loudly, "It's fake!"
"Why is everything you do fake? That thing isn't made of wood either, is it?"
Having just recovered from the pain, the fake Eve suddenly exploded with emotion, his gaze locking onto Lumian, his Eyes turning a sinister green.
Completely unaware that Franca had already scattered the shimmering fluorescent powder and disappeared on the spot with a whisper, he remained oblivious.
The next second, Lumian was overwhelmed by a strong desire—a desire for pleasure and the opposite sex.
If Franca hadn't gone Invisibility, he would have lost control of himself. But now, he hasn't completely lost his Rationality; he's just become more difficult to act, both physically and mentally.
With a touch of theatricality, Lumian laboriously pulled the Revolver from the Underarm Holster and attempted to aim it at the fake Eve.
Right now, even seeing his own face on that other person, he inexplicably finds them Charm.
Bang!
Lumian pulled the trigger, but missed the fake Eve.
Fake Eve's eyes were filled with hatred. As he nimbly approached his target, he slapped his own face.
His appearance Change slightly, but not dramatically, as if he couldn't arbitrarily reshape his own image. He simply softened his features, giving Lumian's Men, masculine face a touch of femininity.
Lumian, breathing heavily, pulled the trigger again.
He felt his desire was about to explode, wanting to embrace the feminized fake Eve and do this and that.
This intense emotion made him instinctively recall the words of his "Psychiatrist," Lady. Susie, and he quickly took a deep breath.
Bang!
Lumian calmed down a little and fired the Revolver again.
Fake Eve hadn't expected the other party to have such strong willpower; he hadn't completely lost his Rationality and almost failed to dodge the bullet, which Past his arm, causing damage to his clothes and burns to his skin.
He couldn't help but groan in pain. At this moment, Lumian, who had been wary of similar abilities, stopped acting, seized the opportunity, grabbed the Ritual Silver Dagger with his backhand, and plunged it into his ribs, not pulling it out.
The pain brought him back to his Rationality, and his desire subsided considerably.
The fake Eve also began to shake off the "Provocation" effect amidst the pain and regained some clarity.
He understood that the current situation was not suitable for a prolonged battle, so he immediately took out a Gold Coin and threw it into the Cavern blocked by the pile of rubble.
Suddenly overcome by an uncontrollable greed, Lumian lunged at the Gold Coin with the Ritual Silver Dagger, trying to pick it up.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the fake Eve dashed into the Depths of the Underground, moving faster than a normal human.
Suddenly, his foot slipped, and he heard a slurping sound.
This road has become covered in Frost!
Fake Eve pulled hard on his back, trying to steady himself.
But at that moment, a tall figure dressed in Black Robe and wearing Hood appeared behind him.
Franca flicked a Sleeve Sword from her right hand, Entanglement in black Flames, and stabbed it toward the fake Eve's vest.
She unleashed Assassin's Full-Force Strike, concentrating all her energy into the Sleeve Sword.
With a soft "thud," the fake Eve, despite his best efforts to dodge and his performance of hardening his skin and muscles like stone, was still pierced by the hidden Sleeve Sword.
His pupils dilated instantly, and he forcefully turned his body, revealing Franca's figure in his Ghostly Green Eyes.
Franca, who had just succeeded in her attack, intended to take a step back, use the shadow to create distance, and then detonate the Black Flame that had been injected into her target's body. However, her body suddenly went limp, and she bent over.
Her legs were slightly crossed, and a Waterlight appeared in her Lake-Colored eyes.
She knew beforehand that the fake Eve and the perverted Hedsey she was following had a deep relationship, and she had made some preparations for her current situation. Without hesitation, she reached into her Hidden Pocket, intending to take out the smelling salts she had bought some time ago.
Bang bang bang!
Lumian, who had already picked up the Gold Coin, fired three shots at the seriously wounded fake Eve.
Fake Eve frantically dodged, but being on the smooth ice, he could barely maintain his balance and finally fell to the ground with a thud, one of the bullets piercing his abdomen.
Having gotten a chance to catch her breath, Franca sniffed the smelling salts. Awakened by the pungent scent, she suppressed her desire and clenched her left hand tightly.
Suddenly, bursts of black Flames erupted from Fake Eve's body, scorching his soul and causing him to let out a shrill scream.
Lumian aimed again and pulled the trigger.
The last bullet shot out and instantly pierced the forehead of the fake Eve.
With a bang, the fake Eve's head split open, spilling red and white blood.
Seeing Franca bend over again, Lumian quickly ran Past, bypassing the Frost- covered area, and came to her side.
Franca looked up abruptly, her eyes shimmering like water, and she breathed softly.
She suddenly hugged Lumian, but a Metal Vial with its cap open was pressed against her nose.
The indescribably pungent smell made her sneeze several times in a row, and she lost most of her desire.
"Damn, this stuff is way better than smelling salts!" Franca blurted out as soon as she regained consciousness.
Lumian quickly smelled it on himself and sneezed.
