Before she could finish speaking, Jenna suddenly snapped back to reality, put on her Rose Long Dress with boning, rushed to the stairwell, and started stomping down the stairs.

Seeing this, Lumian signaled to Louis and Sakota to maintain order in the Breeze Ballroom, and then he chased after them.

Jenna's face was filled with anxiety and fear, her expression almost collapsing.

She made no attempt to conceal her Beyonder, and with all her might, she crossed Market Avenue as if she were about to fly, and entered the street leading to the southern part of the Market District.

It was only because it was still dark, the Gas Streetlamp hadn't been turned on yet, and the pedestrians on the road were in a state of panic due to the explosion, creating a somewhat chaotic scene, that someone would have noticed earlier that Women could run so fast.

Lumian was faster and caught up with her in no time, patting her on the shoulder and saying urgently, "Go into the shadows!"

With her mind focused on getting to the Goodwell Chemical Factory as quickly as possible, Jenna ran for a while before realizing what Lumian meant. She changed direction slightly, slipped into the dimly lit area on the side of the street where the streetlights were not yet on, and blended in.

Assassin have the ability to "Shadow Hiding".

Jenna was overwhelmed with emotion and unable to control herself. She was also running at full speed, so she wasn't maintaining the effect of this ability very well. Sometimes she would appear, and sometimes she would disappear. But compared to before, she was no longer attracting the attention of passersby.

Lumian, inhaling the lingering scent of her perfume, strode wildly along the edge of the shadows, ignoring the questioning glances cast at him by passersby.

He pushed the "Hunter's" speed to its limits, making it astonishingly fast.

This naturally aroused some suspicion, but he didn't care.

The two Beyonder physical abilities had been enhanced, ran at full speed and arrived at Rue Saint-Ger, which was close to the City Wall of Trier, in less than ten minutes.

The area is full of Factory, and the sky is shrouded in a gray-yellow fog, blocking out the remaining rays of the sunset.

Emerging from the shadows, Jenna immediately saw the massive Burning metal tank, the Goodwell Chemical Factory engulfed in flames, and the firefighters desperately battling the blaze and carrying out rescue operations.

Some of these people wore Strange Mask with long, pointed bird beaks, some had something resembling a mechanical Octopus crawling on their faces, and some wore what appeared to be many layers of black helmets. What they had in common was that they all carried something on their backs that resembled Steam backpack but was significantly different from it, with a thick rubber hose extending from it and connecting to the "mask".

Without a second thought, Jenna was about to rush into the Goodwell Chemical Factory, which still had residual explosives.

Lumian, almost losing his Sense of Smell from the pungent odor in the air, grabbed Jenna's shoulder and said in a deep voice, "Do you know which factory your mother works in?"

Jenna paused for a moment:

"Have no idea."

"Do you have protective gear against chemical Corruption?" Lumian asked, changing the subject.

"No." Jenna shook her head blankly.

"So you're going to go in and kill yourself?" Lumian snapped. "Maybe your mother has already been rescued. Let's go find the place where the injured are being cared for. Do you want to go in and cause trouble for the rescue workers?"

Jenna was in a state of turmoil. She wanted to go to the Chemical Factory to find her mother, but she also had to admit that Lumian's words made a lot of sense.

After being pulled by Lumian, she followed him for a few steps without much thought, then came to her senses and ran towards the Steam Whistle Church not far from Rue Saint-Ger.

That is the Bishop's Cathedral the Church of the God of Steam and Machinery in the Honest Market District.

Jenna just saw that the rescued injured people were all being carried over there.

In just a few dozen seconds, she and Lumian arrived at the Square outside the Steam Whistle Church.

The place was filled with workers from the Goodwell Chemical Factory, their Pain groans echoing throughout, but many had fallen into a coma, and some had stopped breathing.

Doctor and Nurse in white coats moved among the people, busily providing basic treatment and sending those they felt still had a chance to live onto two-story carriages with different Coat of Arms or Holy Emblem that were parked at the edge of the Square. These carriages then took the people to several large hospitals in the Noel District.

Jenna's body trembled involuntarily as her gaze swept over the Corpse and the wounded, afraid to see the sight she did not want to face.

Lumian simply took her arm and led her through the Square, searching for Elodie, who might be there.

The Gas Streetlamp around the Square have been turned on, providing them with the most basic lighting.

A few minutes later, thanks to the Hunter's keen eyesight, Lumian spotted a wounded person who resembled Elodie.

Reminded by him Jenna ran Past, crouched down, and looked at the face of the unconscious person.

The injured man's Golden Blonde Wig was mostly burned off, revealing his Linen-Colored real hair, which was also charred black.

Her eyes, painted with eyeshadow, were tightly closed. Her face bore the marks of smoke, and she had large burns all over her body. Her lips were a strange bluish-green. She was Elodie, Jenna's mother Cleaner at the Golden Rooster Inn.

"Mom! Mom!" Jenna instantly lost all strength and collapsed beside Elodie.

When she realized her mother was unconscious and her body was convulsing intermittently, she suddenly stood up and muttered to herself, "I'll go find Doctor! We have to get her to the hospital right away!"

After confirming the injured person's identity, Lumian focused his attention on observing Elodie's Fortune and found that her condition was very bad. Even if she was sent to the hospital now, she might not be able to hold on for long.

He quickly grabbed Jenna and said in a low voice, "Help me block their view from over there."

Jenna stared at him in astonishment, captivated by his composure, and turned her body completely to the side, blocking Elodie's view from the left.

"I have Mysticism Healing Potion. Let's try them out first," Lumian explained in a low voice, as he moved to Elodie's right side, using his back to block the other person's view.

Mysticism Healing Potion... Jenna's eyes lit up, and a hopeful expression appeared on her face.

She watched intently as Lumian took out a dark metal bottle, unscrewed the cap, and poured the liquid inside into her mother's mouth.

After about ten seconds, Elodie seemed to regain consciousness and gulped down the Healing Potion in her mouth.

Seeing this, Jenna relaxed a little, because she intuitively felt that her mother was in better condition than before.

She felt time was passing incredibly slowly, as if she could hardly breathe; a minute felt like a whole day to her.

Finally, she saw that Elodie's burns were healing at an astonishing speed, and the bluish-green color on her lips was gradually fading.

Jenna looked up in surprise at Lumian across from her.

Many words welled up to her lips, but remained stuck there, unable to be uttered.

Lumian glanced at her, nodded, and said in a low voice, "This medicine is very good at treating external injuries and can also alleviate illnesses caused by inhaling chemical gases. It can turn Near-Death into serious injury, serious injury into minor injury, and minor injury into complete healing."

"Your mother was seriously injured, but she's out of immediate danger. However, she'll need a long period of treatment afterward, otherwise her condition could easily worsen."

Upon hearing the words "There is no immediate danger to her life," Jenna's vision blurred.

She had just forced herself not to cry, so as not to interfere with the search and treatment.

Tears streamed down her face. She raised her hands, wiping them haphazardly, and stammered, "Thank you... thank you..."

These words were accompanied by cries and screams that rose and fell in the distance.

A small number of the deceased's relatives arrived.

Just as Lumian was about to use sarcasm to cheer Jenna up a bit, a muffled clap of thunder suddenly rang out from mid-air.

Rumble!

Lumian instinctively looked up and saw a thick, dark cloud Rue Saint-Ger where flames and aftershocks were still rising.

The dark cloud wasn't large; it only covered a few streets.

Silver-White lightning flashed through the clouds, accompanied by continuous, muffled thunder, which seemed to shake the souls of everyone present.

The Torrential Rain poured down, concentrated on Rue Saint-Ger and the Goodwell Chemical Factory.

The grayish-yellow mist was quickly penetrated and settled to the ground, where all the flames were extinguished rapidly, and no further explosions occurred.

The Torrential Rain came quickly and stopped just as fast; the dark clouds dispersed rapidly, and the setting sun on the horizon brought a fiery glow.

Within the golden-red light, a colossal creature flew into the sky above Rue Saint-Ger.

It was a dark gray airship with an elongated, cylindrical airbag and a suspended chamber that emitted a loud buzzing sound.

The rear of the container had wildly spinning blades, and its surface was covered with numerous cannon barrels and bomb bays, currently spraying a translucent, bluish-green liquid onto the Goodwell Chemical Factory below.

The pungent smell that had filled the air began to dissipate.

Is this the government dealing with the Calamity? The dark clouds, Lightning, and Torrential Rain just now didn't seem natural; they came from some Beyonder or Sealed Artifact. It was almost like the work of Deity... Lumian withdrew his gaze, somewhat shocked.

Jenna also saw what had just happened, but she didn't think much of it; her attention was mainly on her mother's injuries.

Elodie's burns had mostly healed, with only a few scorch marks remaining. Her breathing had become steady, and her lips had lost their Blood-Colored, but they no longer gave the impression that something was seriously wrong.

The Healing Potion has taken full effect, and her condition has stabilized.

Jenna closed her eyes and then haphazardly wiped her face.

Just then, someone shouted from not far away, "Celia!"

Jenna turned to the side and waved:

"Julian, over here!"

A young man who was nearly 1.75 meters tall quickly ran to Elodie's side. He was wearing a gray-blue Worker Uniform, had Linen-Colored hair, and blue eyes like Jenna's. His features were quite regular.

He looked at Elodie and asked urgently, "How is Mom?"

Jenna pursed her lips and said, "I'm injured, a bit badly, but not to the point of death."

Julian breathed a sigh of relief and glanced at Jenna.

"Why are you dressed like that... who is he?"

Jenna then realized she was wearing Rose dress and quickly said, "I came straight from the Theater. This is my friend Charles; he helped me a lot earlier."

"Thank you," Julian said sincerely to Lumian.

Lumian nodded and said, "Go and fetch the Doctor, and arrange a carriage to take him to the hospital as soon as possible, otherwise the situation may worsen."

"Okay." Julian immediately ran to the nearest Doctor and Nurse.

Lumian then said to Jenna, "If we can't get a carriage anytime soon, we'll hire one ourselves."

Jenna hummed in agreement, her gaze tender and worried as she looked at her still unconscious mother, and whispered, "Thank goodness you were here this time..."
