"Travel"
The "Heng-Ha Art" is named by combining the "hum" sound from the nose and the "ha" sound from the mouth, which Lumian found quite peculiar.
Moreover, the Armored Wraith was suspected to be human or a humanoid intelligent being in life, so many of its traits and abilities have their own names, unlike those muddle-headed creatures that can only be summarized and simply named by Lumian for easy memorization.
The information transmitted through a special connection led Lumian to discover that the "Heng-Ha Art" was also a type of magical ability that could influence Spirit Body.
It uses the sounds "ha" and "hum" to mobilize its own spirit, create Mysticism Mutation, form special fluctuations, and surge toward its target.
Any creature touched by this fluctuation will suffer severe dizziness at best, and at worst, it will feel as if it has been "Mental Piercing," or even cause the target to fall into Past coma.
This ability will gradually strengthen as the user's rank increases, meaning it has the potential to influence Divinity beings, provided that Lumian also advances to Sequence 4 or temporarily raises his own rank in some way.
Not bad, not worse than a faint scream, and "humph" and "ha" are more respectable than random Dignity... Seeing that time was running out, Lumian began to make promises and sign Contract.
Actually, he was quite curious about the abilities and characteristics of the Armored Wraith, because their names all had an inexplicably strange feel to them, such as "Night Parade of a Hundred Demons" and "Soul-Devouring Shriek".
This time, a black object resembling a stamp landed on Lumian's right chest, and the Ritual ended.
He quickly tied the "Dignity" Brooch with a thin string, put it back into the Iron Gray Military Flask, dispelled the "Spirit Wall," cleaned the Altar, and picked up the items he had previously thrown on the ground.
Then, a faint light flashed on Lumian's right shoulder, and he vanished instantly, entering a magical world filled with layers of color blocks and strange creatures.
The next second, slightly dizzy, he left the Spirit World and appeared in a bedroom on the second floor of the Breeze Ballroom.
Lumian rubbed his throbbing head, looked around, and nodded in satisfaction.
"This is truly ' Spirit World Traversal,' this ability is so useful..."
The only problem is that this consumes an enormous amount of spiritual energy. With Lumian's dual enhancement as a "Contracted One" and "Pyromaniac," he can only complete it three to four times at present. Considering the consumption of using Flames and the need to reserve resources for unexpected events, he can only use it once in a relatively intense battle, with a limit of two times.
If it were a pure "Contracted One", even without any other consumption, they could normally only "Teleportation" twice.
This is still assuming only surrounding coordinates are selected; of course, surrounding coordinates do not necessarily mean they correspond only to the surrounding area.
The Spirit World is a very magical and special world. There, up and down, left and right, front and back, and even time are all mixed together. It overlaps with the real world and is chaotic in its own way. Except for things that are gathered together by the same concept, everything else seems to be randomly assigned its position by rolling dice.
Simply put, Trier, as a whole, a powerful concept, has a corresponding region in the Spirit World. It is not scattered in different places, but its vicinity is no longer the surrounding towns and villages. It could be a concept corresponding to a river in the Southern Continent, or it could be a projection of a settlement of Seabed creatures.
Without accurate location information, Lumian can only "Teleportation" within the Trier area; otherwise, he will inevitably get lost in the Spirit World, which would be extremely dangerous.
Just now, when he tried to travel through the Spirit World, all the places he had visited in Trier were presented in his mind and the sea of books in the form of strange coordinates, allowing him to directly "Teleportation" back to the Breeze Ballroom instead of running to other corners of this metropolis.
At the same time, Lumian vaguely sensed the Highland Kingdom "White City" Rhaps, which he had visited before. It was not too far from Trier in the Spirit World, but it was not close either. It was obviously impossible for Lumian to "Teleportation" Past directly. He had to find one or two other coordinates between the two places to transfer.
"That's pretty good," Lumian remarked with satisfaction.
Aside from limitations on the number of times and the "distance," the "Spirit World Traversal" he obtained from the "Abscessed Severed Hand" perfectly met his expectations.
Lumian then walked to the Full-Length Mirror, activating the Black Mark on his left shoulder as he watched his charred self gradually transform into a middle-aged man with a few white hairs at his temples, fleshy cheeks, reddish-brown Eyes, deep-set features, distinct contours, and an approachable demeanor.
Gardner Martin!
It can restore appearance, body and temperament, but mannerisms and tone of voice can only be created by oneself... Lumian assessed the ability of "Face of Niser".
Just now, when he Change, he consumed a considerable amount of spiritual energy, but maintaining the Change only requires a little. He can live in Gardner Martin's appearance for more than ten hours.
Lumian deactivated "Face of Niser," took several steps back, stared at the Mirror, and opened his mouth.
"Ha!"
He immediately felt his spirit surge into the Black Mark on his right chest, his Spirit Body trembled, and a barely perceptible yellowish light spurted from his mouth.
The light pierced through the Mirror, flew off the wall, and disappeared completely after nearly ten meters.
"It only works at close range... It consumes less energy than ' Spirit World Traversal ' but more than ' Face of Niser '. I can probably use it four or five times in a battle..." Lumian, who was covered in burns, slowly exhaled, dressed, lay down on the bed, and fell Past.
Lumian temporarily put aside his promise to pay the gold owed to the Armored Wraith and to help the "Abscessed Severed Hand" find a body. Anyway, there was still plenty of time. What he needed most now was rest and recovery, and to wait for the abhorrent aura emanating from the "Dignity" Brooch to dissipate naturally.
The following morning.
Lumian, wearing a black felt hat, a shirt, a sweater, and a thick jacket, rang the doorbell of Apartment 601 at No. 3 White Coat Street.
Franca opened the door with a depressed look on her face, and was shocked by Lumian's attire:
Is your perception of temperature confused?
Lumian didn't answer but asked a question in return:
Have you collected the actual Mummy Ashes?
"You asked this question just yesterday!" Franca replied irritably.
The answer is no.
Lumian laughed:
"I'll take you to find a real Mummy."
"Where should we look?" Franca asked, both puzzled and curious.
Lumian entered the room and casually replied, "Southern Continent Stars Plateau."
"How do we get there?" Franca glanced at the Washroom and asked in a low voice, "You don't want to bother your Major Arcana, do you?"
"I just wrote to ask for a transit location," Lumian said with a smile.
"Relay location..." Franca, drawing on her knowledge of the Mysticism, quickly guessed, "You got your hands on Mystical Item that can ' Teleportation '?"
Lumian shook his head and explained briefly, "Using my Contract Creature."
"What kind of Contract is so powerful?" Franca blurted out in astonishment.
She had previously wondered why Lumian was in such a hurry to select Contract Creature. Normally, those willing to sign Contract with Sequence 7 are relatively ordinary, and Ritual must be performed before they can be summoned, making them difficult to use in most battles.
Lumian laughed and said, "A special kind of Contract."
"Uh..." Franca looked Lumian up and down, then walked half a circle around him.
The "Witch" in trousers and a shirt cleared her throat and asked, "Are we brothers?"
"No," Lumian answered without hesitation, "We have different beliefs!"
"Aren't they all just surface Steam, actually Mr. ' The Fool '?" Franca lowered her voice again.
Lumian's "Devout" response:
"I still have some faith in the ' Eternal Blazing Sun '."
I've believed in it for almost six years now.
Franca was speechless for a moment, then asked again after a few seconds, "Does that count as friendship?"
"Yes." This time, Lumian didn't say one thing in his heart and another in his mouth.
Franca's brows and eyes relaxed:
"Could you teach me that special kind of Contract? Name your price."
She made her request very frankly.
Lumian shook his head again:
"I had special circumstances that allowed me to use that kind of Contract."
"Alright." Franca didn't press further, though she was quite disappointed.
Just then, Jenna came out of the Washroom, and Lumian asked, half-jokingly, "Want to go on a trip to the Southern Continent?"
"Travel? Why travel?" Jenna asked, looking bewildered.
Franca quickly explained her need for the Mummy Ashes and how Lumian had a way to "Teleportation" them to the Stars Plateau, then asked, "Do you want to come along and see for yourself?"
After a moment's consideration, Jenna said, "Okay."
She felt she lacked experience in extraordinary fields and needed to observe, listen, and practice more.
Moreover, the farthest she has ever been in her life is the Opera District of Trier, where she has long been curious about the stories of the Southern Continent circulating in Bar and Dance Hall.
Lumian glanced at his two companions and smiled, reminding them, "You'd better dress warmly; it's a high plateau over there, and it's winter there too."
"Oh..." Franca looked at Lumian and understood why he was dressed for winter.
Before long, Franca changed into a black coat resembling Leather Armor armor and dark-colored trousers with fleece lining and knee pads, looking like a Women mercenary or Bounty Hunter. Jenna, whose thick clothes had not yet been moved over, could only borrow Franca's clothes, and she looked the same. However, she was shorter and had to tighten her belt, button up her sleeves, and roll up her trouser legs to avoid affecting her movement.
Lumian immediately reached out with both hands, grasped their shoulders respectively, and activated the Contract Mark on his right shoulder.
A faint light flashed from the seam of his clothes, and Jenna and Franca entered a magical world, surrounded by densely layered blocks of pure color and strange creatures rapidly retreating in all directions.
In a daze, they left the Spirit World, their figures outlined on a desolate island.
Before Jenna and Franca could adjust, Lumian used "Spirit World Traversal" again.
Upon returning to reality, the two "Assassin" were greeted by snow-covered Mountain Peak in the distance and a nearby exotic city dominated by white buildings.
Jenna, regaining her composure, exclaimed instinctively, "How amazing..."
If she had to choose a word to describe "amazing" and express her feelings, she might choose to swear.
Although she wasn't sure if this was the Stars Plateau of the Southern Continent, the fact that she could quickly travel from White Coat Street to the Wilderness was enough to demonstrate the wonder of "Teleportation"!
Despite the throbbing pain in his head and the significant drain on his spiritual energy, Lumian nonchalantly pointed to the "White City":
"Go in."
