Lumian wasn't sure whether he should attribute the Bad Luck brought by the "Hateful Movement" to the fact that the Banknotes, Coins, and gold in the safe had been taken by the "Devil Warlock" Bourman. After all, he hadn't arrived at 16 Coreas Street yet, hadn't used the blackened Bone Flute he got from General Philip, and its power probably wasn't strong enough to rewind time.

However, Fidel lived up to his title as a great merchant, possessing numerous wallets tucked into various garments. Lumian conducted a simple search and found a staggering 30,000 Felkine.

This initially soothed his "emotional trauma".

Hearing a carriage approaching outside, presumably a police officer on night patrol coming to investigate the explosion that had occurred a few minutes earlier, Lumian left Fidel's bedroom and went to the adjacent room.

The place was very clean and tidy, but there was a faint, unpleasant smell in the air—the lingering odor of a rotting Corpse.

Lumian entered the room as if he had entered a tomb, surrounded by the dead of his kind and the traces they left behind, which made him feel uneasy all over.

"This must be where ' Devil Warlock ' Bourman lives. He could provide Fidel with protection in the shortest amount of time. Heh, in the end, it was he who killed Fidel... This story tells us that the most important condition for choosing a bodyguard is a stable mental state..." Lumian muttered to himself as he examined every corner of the room.

At this moment, the patrolling police officers pushed open the door of the house and saw the splattered blood and scattered pieces of flesh.

One of them swiftly drew his Pistol, while the other blew a whistle, sending a sharp, piercing sound soaring into the sky.

Lumian's gaze lingered on some dark marks in the room, which appeared to be old blood and carried an Evil feeling.

"Bourman once killed a special creature in this room, in order to complete some kind of Resurrection experiment?" Lumian muttered to himself.

He didn't guess that it was "Devil Warlock" Bourman's own blood, thinking that the other party wouldn't leave behind something so important if they had enough free time.

If this falls into the hands of Beyonder skilled in Curse, he will be in great danger, unless he has a way to sever the connection beforehand.

In comparison, it is more likely that Bourman's blood and flesh will be found in the Master Bedroom of cabin number 5 in First Class "Flying Bird" —That One "Devil Warlock" had been injured in the explosion and burned by Flames, so his injuries were not minor.

Of course, the massive explosion and subsequent intense Burning there may have rendered the Curse materials inactive.

Lumian crouched down, took out a Glass Vial from the "Traveler’s Bag," and scraped off some of the blackened marks on the wall before putting it in.

Having done this, before more police officers and Official Beyonder arrived, Lumian dealt with his hair and dander, activated the Black Mark on his right shoulder, and disappeared at 16 Coreas Street.

Upon returning to the "Flying Bird," he immediately inspected the previous battlefield, which had been reduced to Ruins, with charred and broken furniture and Distortion, cracked metal walls everywhere.

The gases left from Burning carpets and other items are slowly dissipating through the open windows.

--The "Fictional Bottle" was dispelled after Bourman stepped on the trap at the exit.

Lumian focused his inspection on the windowsill area, only to find patches of charred blackening.

He let out a breath, left cabin number 5 in First Class, and went down to the deck.

Philip, the safety supervisor, was admiring the night view from the ship's railing on the harbour side.

"Where is your Lover?" Lumian walked to Philip's side and placed his hands on the gunwale.

Philip sighed. "Her destination is Falin Port; she's supposedly going to help out at a relative's Plantation."

"Something to celebrate, it means you'll have a new Lover again," Lumian said in the tone of a Dandyism believer.

"Please allow me to be down for another two days because of this." Philip did not deny Lumian's statement, but only emphasized that he had indeed been emotionally invested.

Of course, it's just a tiny bit.

"You just came back from the port? I didn't see you board the ship?" Philip asked, following his professional instincts.

"I've been in my room the whole time. There was a little mishap at the party earlier; the Master Bedroom caught fire, burning quite a few things. You should have someone come and fix it tomorrow." This was exactly what Lumian wanted to discuss with Philip. While it wasn't impossible to sleep in a fire, if there was a way to improve the situation, why not do it?

"The party... lit up..." Philip turned his head, looking at Lumian with a puzzled expression, and said, "What exactly were you doing in the room? I didn't hear anything..."

Lumian smiled slightly and said, "We have a very enthusiastic guest, but his behavior is a bit excessive."

"Really?" Philip asked instinctively.

"It's fake," Lumian answered readily, then asked with a smile, "Would you like to hear the real reason?"

Philip fell silent for a moment, then said after a few seconds, "This kind of damage requires compensation. We will reimburse you for the repair costs."

"Fortunately, we're still in Falin Port, where we can replenish our supplies immediately; otherwise, it would be quite troublesome."

Lumian pulled out a wad of Banknotes and handed them to Philip:

"This is the repair fee. I hope it can be fixed by tomorrow. If it's more, consider it a tip; if it's less, just ask me for more."

Philip took the stack of Banknotes, weighed them in his hand, frowned, and asked, "Just how badly have you damaged the bedroom?"

Why is the repair cost so high?

Is this hush money?

Lumian smiled, turned around, and walked back to cabin number 5 in First Class.

After watching his figure disappear into the Cabin entrance, Philip, under the Crimson Moonlight and the port's Gas Streetlamp, quickly counted how much the stack of Banknotes actually contained.

"2000 Felkine? Did he blow up that room?" Philip, both surprised and suspicious.

But I didn't hear a thing...

That night, Lumian in the Armchair in the living room.

He originally intended to summon Jenna's Chazot Rabbit directly to write a letter to Franca, telling her about the "Devil Warlock" and asking her to use the "Magic Mirror Divination" method to determine what creature the old bloodstains in Bourman's room came from. However, he then remembered that at this time, Franca was still awake, but Jenna was already asleep.

Lumian patiently waited until dawn before setting up the Ritual, using "Rabbit-Shaped Spirit Body wandering in illusion, a runner chasing knowledge, Messenger unique to the Seven of Cups" to summon the transparent creature that resembled Rabbit, had powerful legs, and was carrying books.

Unlike last time, today Chazot Rabbit is wearing a pair of blurry, intangible Gold-Rimmed Glasses.

As Lumian handed the letter and the Glass Vial vial containing blood powder to the other person, he asked curiously, "Why are you suddenly wearing glasses? Is this the downside of knowledge?"

A sharp glint flashed in Chazot Rabbit's eyes, hidden behind her Gold-Rimmed Glasses:

"No, I learned it from the novel that came with the Seven of Cups."

"What novel did she give you?" Lumian had a vague premonition.

"Last time I helped you deliver a letter to her, she didn't have any other books with her, so she could only lend me one of her newly purchased collectibles." Chazot Rabbit pushed up her Gold-Rimmed Glasses. "That novel is called ' The Great Adventurer 1: First Glimpse of Talent'."

So... you've learned to wear glasses? Lumian didn't know how to comment on this.

Half an hour after Chazot Rabbit left, Ludwig and Lugano got up one after the other.

The former glanced at Lumian's bedroom, then lowered his head to eat his pre-breakfast snacks, while the latter looked bewildered and confused.

"Was there a fire last night?"

How come I didn't know?

Lumian laughed, "That happened when you and a certain Lady were completely engrossed in each other; I resolved it quickly."

"Really...?" Lugano's expression of disbelief vanished.

Instead of enjoying a hearty breakfast on board, Lumian opted to head to Falin Port to sample the local specialties of the Sea of Fog Archipelago.

Shortly after he disembarked, Philip, the security chief, arrived with the dining car.

Philip stood in the doorway of the wrecked, charred bedroom, his gaze fixed blankly, his eyes vacant.

Is this what you call a minor accident?

Even being directly hit by artillery fire couldn't be worse than this, right?

Are they going to dismantle the entire ship?

Wow, such destructive power didn't affect the outside of the room at all, and even the damage to the walls is within repairable limits... I didn't hear any noise either...

What exactly did Louis Berri do in his room last night?

No wonder he gave him 2000 Felkine!

In that instant, Philip's blood rushed to his head.

Falin Port, Sun Square open-air market.

Lumian strolled leisurely among the different stalls, eating a tortilla filled with various fruit pieces and sipping a peculiar coffee with salt.

He would occasionally eat a grilled sausage, savoring the sizzling, oily flavor.

As they neared the end of the open-air market, Lumian spotted Batna Comte.

The well-dressed and impeccably groomed adventurer's eyes lit up. He walked towards Lumian and whispered, "Your employer is in trouble!"

"What happened?" Lumian didn't hide his curiosity.

He wanted to know how the Official Beyonder were publicizing this matter.

"That ' Devil Warlock ' did it! He killed the wealthy merchant Fidel and his entire family, along with all their servants!" Batna was thankful he hadn't found any clues the day before yesterday; otherwise, he might have been among the dead.

The evidence at the scene definitely points to the "Devil Warlock"... The authorities haven't hidden anything... Lumian smiled and said to Batna, "So, everyone in that building at 16 Coreas Street was killed by the ' Devil Warlock '?"

"Yes." Batna nodded emphatically.

Lumian glanced at him and said jokingly, "Do you remember the day before yesterday when I blindfolded myself, hoping to find clues left behind by the ' Devil Warlock ' through the Guidance of Destiny?"

Do you remember where we last stopped?

Batna was taken aback at first, then muttered to himself:

16 Coreas Street...

At this point, he suddenly looked up, staring at Lumian with a mixture of surprise and fear.
