Still internal organs
The Ghostly Green light transformed into rays, which shot out and landed on the old man's chest, disappearing into his loose Black Robe, like Sunlight shining down, inescapable for anyone.
The old man, who looked seven or eight years younger, suddenly Distortion his expression, and every inch of his exposed skin appeared to melt.
His breath was rapidly Weakening.
Almost simultaneously, a vigorous and tangible life force erupted from his body; beneath the melting and peeling skin, flesh and blood writhed, resisting the mutation.
The old man in Black Robe suddenly turned gloomy, and his entire figure faded away and disappeared.
Then, a blurry face emerged from the back of the chair next to the dining table, Fusion into the brown wood, about to become clear.
Just then, raindrops of fire fell from the ceiling, which was covered in crimson flames, and poured onto the armchair, quickly igniting it.
Before its brown face could fully take shape, it faced the Burning Flame and had no choice but to shrink back.
Then, Lumian could no longer see or sense the presence of That One old man in Black Robe.
He had only glanced around halfway when Lugano, who was lying on the dining table, suddenly sat up, jumped down, and stared Cavern at him, looking like a wandering Living Corpse.
Lumian chuckled softly, raised his right hand, and pointed at Lugano.
As he did this, sparkles appeared in his Eyes, as if the Starry Sky had descended.
Lugano suddenly found himself in a vast, empty night sky, with Stars twinkling all around him.
He stood there blankly, motionless, like Machine that had lost its power and its operator.
After dealing with his servants, Lumian once again looked around.
But all he could see in his eyes was the flowing, Burning crimson Flames; there was no trace of the old man in Black Robe from before.
Lumian's expression remained Change; he spread his five fingers on his right hand and then clenched them into a fist.
His body suddenly became heavy, and the surrounding Flames, as if attracted by a magnet, surged towards him like a river flowing into the Sea.
The bottles and jars, the organs from different parts of the body, and all the lighter objects in the room all flew up and hurtled towards Lumian.
On the surface of the wooden Coat Rack near the entrance, the transparent figure of the old man in Black Robe protruded, pulled away from his hiding place by an invisible force.
He struggled desperately, but could not resist the urge to move toward Lumian, like timber swept up by Flood or thin leaves dancing in Gale.
Lumian's left hand was already raised, and the crimson Flames in his palm Reddish White, quickly turned Blazing White with the help of the heavy suction, becoming a small ball.
The compressed, Blazing White Fireball was launched, and the heavy, terrifying suction force disappeared immediately afterward.
With a snap, the old man in Black Robe finally stepped onto the floor, but his vision was completely filled by Blazing White Fireball.
Rumble!
Blazing White Fireball exploded on the Beyonder performing the Evil Surgery and strange Ritual. The sound of the explosion spread into the distance, but was blocked by the Gloom light that curved down from the sides of the room, unable to penetrate it.
Despite the violent explosion, not a single person on the ship heard a sound or sensed anything unusual.
Rumble!
The Black Robe old man's body was torn to pieces by the terrifying explosion, and many pieces of his body were either instantly charred or ignited by flames, scattered throughout every corner of the living room/ Restaurant.
With "Spiritism" and Ludwig as backup plans, Lumian fully enjoyed the Authority of the "Governor of the Sea" and the near- Half-God- level power that came with it, completely disregarding what his enemies might become.
"That was awesome! Is this what Half-God is like? Even if it's just a fake Half-God... It's a pity that by six o'clock, when dawn broke, it was all gone... "Lumian sighed as he turned his gaze to the still -Burning pieces of corpse.
He glanced over and discovered that the Black Robe old man's flesh and blood were being burned into charcoal or ashes faster than he had imagined, just like frozen Frost encountering the Impact of Magma from Volcano eruption.
Just seconds later, only the heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys, intestines, stomach and other internal organs and a Gray-White, semi-charred brain remained in the room.
This... even if Lumian thought with his feet, he could tell that something was amiss:
Apart from the brain, the remaining remains of the enemy were all internal organs.
The Evil Surgery he just completed involved removing someone's internal organs and making them appear as if they were a normal person, allowing them to continue living!
Meanwhile, the strange Ritual he performed involved using his entire set of internal organs to try and assemble the body of the so-called Divine Child!
These are all internal organs, making it hard for Lumian not to make certain associations.
"Could this guy have had his internal organs removed himself, and then survived by piecing together other people's internal organs, and even become Beyonder? What's this called, human alchemy? If it's true, who removed his internal organs?" Lumian muttered silently.
The Stars in his eyes faded quickly, and Lugano returned to the real world.
Lumian, standing four or five meters away, raised his right hand and flicked it lightly.
Snap!
Lugano felt as if he had been slapped in the face by an invisible hand.
He jolted awake, and his gaze gradually shifted from its Cavern.
The first thing Lugano saw was a constant stream of falling crimson Flames, which quickly went out without igniting anything.
Then, his vision came into view: charred body parts, scattered internal organs, a glass jar filled with a pale amber liquid, and organs soaking inside.
Am I still not awake...? Is this a terrifying Dream? The thought had barely crossed Lugano's mind when the image of his employer, Louis Berri with black hair and green eyes, appeared in his Eyes.
"Raised by a female dog, the dream is even more terrifying!" Lugano shuddered, and asked instinctively, with a hint of ingratiation, "What happened?"
Lumian asked thoughtfully, "What did you dream about just now?"
What did I dream about? Lugano, confirming his lucidity, recalled, "I dreamt about my childhood. My mother was standing at the door, urging me to hurry home for dinner, and she was singing a nursery rhyme from our hometown..."
"She's been gone for almost ten years. I miss her so much. I keep walking towards the door, but I can never get there..."
At this point, Lugano suddenly realized that this wasn't the Suite they were staying in, and exclaimed in shock, "What on earth happened?"
Lumian chuckled and said, "You woke up in the middle of the night, suddenly sleepwalked, and ended up here. Some old guy is planning to perform Surgery on you, remove your kidney, and slowly turn you into Patient like Ennio."
Lugano grew increasingly frightened as he listened. He had been wondering how someone like Ennio, who had lost most of his internal organs, could still live, only becoming weak. He had almost turned into someone like that just now!
"Hiss..." He gasped, then asked tremblingly, "Where's that old guy?"
"These are all that's left." Lumian pointed to the entrails and the Gray-White, half-burnt brains on the ground.
Without giving Lugano a chance to express his feelings, he instead ordered, "Go and bring Ludwig over."
Judging by the time, it's about time for our midnight meal.
Lugano quickly left the Suite, extremely grateful that he had chosen to go to the Southern Continent with Lumian.
Otherwise, if he encountered a similar situation elsewhere, no one would be able to save him!
Lugano felt that this matter had nothing to do with Lumian; it was entirely his own fault. If it were Trier, he might have encountered a strange Patient with missing internal organs as well.
Lumian watched his retreating figure, raised her right hand, and stroked her chin:
"Just hearing the baby's cries brought by the failed Ritual, those Beyonder on the ' Planter ' Pathway will be affected after falling asleep, acting in a sleepwalking state and receiving corresponding commands?"
"Isn't this going too far? This is an absolute suppression of the ' Planter ' Pathway..."
"If that Ritual had succeeded and the Divine Child had truly been born, I could understand similar phenomena. But now it's still a product of failure, and it's already this powerful?"
Even with the limitations imposed by the scope, it's still terrifying... Is there a key reason I'm unaware of?
"Furthermore, only those Beyonder with the ' Planter ' or ' Sower ' Pathway can hear the Divine Child's cries? Hmm, could those with Pathway ' Apothecary ' pathway, which can be interchanged with the ' Planter ' Pathway, also hear it?"
Lost in Lumian, Lugano led Ludwig into the Suite.
Faced with this rather bloody scene, Ludwig covered his mouth, yawned, and said, "Where's the food?"
Lumian did not immediately make a request, but instead looked at Lugano:
"You stay at the door and keep watch."
Having witnessed the blood-drinking incident before, Lugano could vaguely guess what would happen. He didn't dare to face it directly. After hearing Lumian's instructions, he breathed a sigh of relief, ran quickly to the corridor, and closed the vermilion door behind him.
Lumian then pointed to the entrails on the ground and asked, "Do you need me to cook them for you?"
Ludwig glanced at Lumian sideways:
Don't you feel resistant?
These are all human internal organs.
Lumian chuckled:
"In my eyes, this is equivalent to Monster's internal organs."
Then, he gave a self-deprecating look:
"Furthermore, isn't it tantamount to cannibalism for Beyonder to advance directly using their Beyonder Characteristic?"
Ludwig didn't say anything more. He took a few steps to the side, squatted down, picked up the old man's heart, put it in his mouth, and began to chew.
Bright red blood slowly dripped down the corner of his mouth.
Lumian pulled up a chair and sat down, patiently waiting for Ludwig to finish eating and digest.
After seven or eight minutes, Ludwig took out a white handkerchief from the pocket of his jacket, wiped his mouth, and said, "These organs belong to different people; some are Beyonder, some are Ordinary Person, some are old, some are young..."
"There are traces of Human Transmutation; the life force is rather mixed and not pure enough..."
"It will be subject to the control and influence of the refiner..."
The person who was transformed was unaware that he had ever suffered this ordeal.
"He has complete memories and recollections of the Past, which is something that ordinary Human Transmutation."
"He boarded the ship with Ennio, intending to remove the remaining organs before Enio reached his destination to complete the Ritual..."
Ludwig recounted the knowledge and memories he had absorbed in a straightforward manner.
