"Rebirth"
Faced with the baby's cries that were gradually weakening him, Lumian immediately tried to "Teleportation" to Father Montserrat's side to launch a full-scale attack and interrupt the influence.
But at that moment, he saw the "Pride Armor" who had heard the baby's cry freeze in place, then suddenly squat down and plunge the "Dawn Sword" into the ground covered with dark Weeds.
Damn! Using "Storm of Light" directly? Lumian's scalp tingled. Without bothering to confirm, he immediately changed the destination of the "Teleportation" and instantly disappeared into the darkness where the Phantom Oak stood, appearing on the deck of the ship.
He had long discovered that the Wilderness Weeds created by Father Montserrat was significantly inferior to the "Ladies'" Otherworld. It couldn't sever the deep connection between the inside and outside, and therefore couldn't prevent others from directly "Teleportation" away. It could only prevent various sounds and the aftershocks of battles from spreading outwards. It was similar to the "Fictional Bottle," and even inferior in some ways. Of course, this Wilderness, overgrown with dark Weeds and standing with Phantom Oak, had other special features and possessed other abilities.
As soon as Lumian's figure faded into the dark Wilderness, the "Pride Armor" embedded in the ground, the "Dawn Sword," cracked.
It shattered into countless fragments of light, which transformed into a terrifying Storm that enveloped the area.
The Weeds, laden with plump ears of grain, were Cutting pieces, leaving the earth bare.
Father Montserrat, standing on the Oak Branch, had no time to dodge; he merely made his body appear as solid as wood before being engulfed by the "Storm of Light."
The illusory, Cavern baby cries abruptly ceased.
When the "Storm of Light" subsided, Father Montserrat stood frozen in place, motionless.
The next second, his body, covered in brown bark and seemingly cast in wood, suddenly cracked open, revealing deep fissures.
Thud, thud, thud, Father Montserrat's body fell piece by piece to the base of the Oak Tree, the cuts clean, Blood-Colored oozing out.
The flesh and blood were instantly absorbed by the roots of the Phantom Oak, leaving not a trace behind.
In the middle section of the Oak Tree, the bark cracked open, and huge, wriggling, moist fleshy lobes grew out, expanding into a hole.
A human head appeared there, being squeezed outwards.
In the blink of an eye, the naked human was "born" from the illusory Oak Tree, and appeared to be Father Montserrat.
He was still an adult, his body was wet, and some parts were covered with a rather dirty, translucent white film.
Rebirth!
Father Montserrat, through the darkness overgrown with Weeds, through the illusory Oak Tree, through the invisible infant, gained Rebirth!
His features grew increasingly youthful, and suddenly exaggerated, bat-like wings covered in dark membranes sprouted from his back, flying from the middle of the giant Oak Tree to his full-body Silver-White Full-Body Armor.
"Pride Armor" stood up, and light gathered in his hand, creating a sharp spear.
It hurled the long lance with force, sending it piercing the air and embedding itself between Father Montserrat's chest and abdomen.
Father Montserrat's bat-like wings snapped shut instantly, and his entire body abruptly split into one palm-sized black bat after another.
These bats swarmed through the air, some circling behind the "Pride Armor" and Aggregation into Father Montserrat, covered in a filthy membrane.
Father Montserrat's body swelled up, becoming like a giant bear, and his hands grew sharp nails with mysterious patterns and symbols.
He grabbed it hard, tearing five deep scratches into the back of the "Pride Armor," revealing the Cavern inside.
The "Pride Armor" froze once again, and even the surrounding air seemed to solidify.
Just as Father Montserrat was about to launch a further attack, he suddenly noticed that the Silver-White Full-Body Armor had turned around out of thin air without warning and in no time at all.
It conjured weapons such as giant hammers, Axe, and flails from light, and then swung them at Father Montserrat one after another, as if in a frenzy.
Father Montserrat ducked down, shrinking into Weeds cleared ground, and moved closer to the Phantom Oak.
Where he had stood, the earth was smashed, creating a dent and a fissure.
At this moment, Lumian, guessing that the "Storm of Light" had ended, "Teleportation" back into the darkness.
He was slightly surprised to see that Father Montserrat was still intact, except that he was missing his brown Priest's robe.
Lumian did not hesitate and pulled out the Bone Flute "Hateful Movement" from the "Traveler’s Bag".
He wanted to take advantage of the "Pride Armor" keeping Father Montserrat entangled, and the opportunity when the sounds from here couldn't reach the outside world, to play for Father Montserrat a melody he had just learned at various celebrations in Santa Port —a melody composed by a Saint of the Church "Earth Mother" for a bountiful harvest.
As was his usual practice, Lumian should first put on the "Torture" gauntlets, "Teleportation" close in, punch Father Montserrat to arouse some desire or emotion, and then create distance, play the "Hateful Movement," and trigger the aftereffects of the "Torture." But this time, Lumian abandoned this well-established fighting routine.
This is because the battlefield is covered with strange, illusory giant Oak Tree, and Father Montserrat was previously holding an invisible infant who seemed to be Divine Child. Lumian were to actually put on the "Torture" gauntlets, he couldn't imagine what kind of attention and crisis it would attract.
If the "Great Mother" saw this, and directly made the Divine Child briefly cross the Barrier between illusion and reality to give her a taste of it, the problem would be serious!
Moreover, Lumian had always felt that a follower of Evil God like Montserrat must have obvious psychological problems and his mental state would not be very stable. Directly playing the "Hateful Movement" could very well trigger the opponent's weakness, just as he and Mr. K probably wouldn't like to hear others play the "Hateful Movement".
Lumian was unsure which weakness would be triggered or what Change would occur, so he could only react as the situation demanded.
Just as Lumian brought the "Hateful Movement" to his lips, he suddenly felt a chill on the back of his neck.
"Wow!"
The illusory cry of a baby echoed in his ears once more, so close it seemed.
"Giggle, giggle."
The baby's cries quickly turned into laughter, as if it were playing a fun game with Lumian.
Lumian froze inexplicably, and for a brief moment was unable to move.
A chilling aura seeped into his body, slowly spreading towards his abdomen.
Lumian grew colder and colder, his life force began to drain away, yet it also gathered back into a certain part of his body along with the chilling aura.
The baby and the book beside him sometimes cried pitifully, and sometimes laughed happily.
Without hesitation, Lumian channeled his consciousness into his right hand, slightly activating the remaining Brand of "Blood Emperor" Alista Tudor.
A terrifying aura of savage madness surged from Lumian's body, making him seem much larger even without using his "Accumulation" power, and his bloodlust felt almost tangible.
The cries and laughter of the invisible infant disappeared once again, and the chilling aura that had seeped into Lumian's body was melted away by the rolling burning sensation. The entire dark Wilderness swayed, and beams of light shone in.
Lumian then ended the activation he was controlling and blew the black Bone Flute with Blood-Colored holes.
The melody, clearly festive, echoed out, and Father Montserrat, who was fighting the "Pride Armor," was stunned.
His expression instantly Distortion, revealing an indescribable Pain.
Seeing the silver- White Armor slashing towards him with a long staff formed of light, Father Montserrat instinctively pointed to the soles of the other's feet.
Numerous Vines, Weeds, and branches grew rapidly, quickly surrounding the "Pride Armor" and hindering its movement.
Amidst the sounds of branches being smashed and Vines being torn apart, the "Pride Armor" charged forward with difficulty and slowness.
Father Montserrat looked at Lumian, his face contorted with Pain, and cried out, "Run!"
"The Divine Child cannot be killed!"
Run away? This... Lumian noticed that Father Montserrat was much more normal than before; the gentle, home-like warmth in his eyes had been completely replaced by Pain and struggle.
Run!
"Repent to Mother Earth for me!"
Father Montserrat shouted hysterically.
His naked body then underwent Mutation. Beneath a translucent, dirty white membrane, organs representing production and incubation grew out, intermingled among each other in a horrifying manner.
Confessing to Mother Earth? Lumian vaguely grasped Father Montserrat's current state:
His depravity seems incomplete, as he also has a side that believes in the "Earth Mother," which leads to a split personality. Normally, his normal personality is suppressed by his depraved personality.
The "Hateful Movement" triggered this very issue, allowing Father Montserrat's normal personality to briefly gain the upper hand and regain control of his body? Lumian was somewhat moved, but this did not stop him from condensing one Reddish-White Fireball after another and sending them flying toward the Mutation Father Montserrat.
Montserrat's expression shifted between coldness and Pain, his body sometimes threatening to evade, and sometimes being pulled back.
He shouted with all his might, "The Divine Child cannot be killed, only driven away!"
As soon as Father Montserrat finished speaking, the Reddish-White Fireball flew over and landed on him. The Silver-White "Pride Armor" also broke through the obstacles of the Vines and branches, rushed in front of him, and chopped down the long staff formed of light.
Rumble!
The moment the Fireball exploded, the corrupt Father Montserrat regained control of his body and was about to shrink into the Underground.
At that moment, Lumian appeared behind him, holding up a black Bone Flute.
Lumian Teleportation directly to the epicenter of the explosion, completely disregarding the fact that he too would be severely injured by the terrifying Impact!
The Fireball was just a decoy; his real, deadly attack was "The Hateful Movement"!
Puff!
Lumian inserted the black Bone Flute with Blood-Colored holes into Father Montserrat's hunched neck.
Rumble!
The expanding wave of fire engulfed the two of them.
